20,000 years ago one of the worst wars Soul Society has ever seen took place. Aizen Sousuke and his Espada attacked with no mercy. Aizen almost won that war, but thanks to the efforts of the Gotei 13 and Ichigo Kurosaki he was stopped just in time.

Even in Soul Society 20,000 years is no small amount of time. Many have forgotten about the war with Aizen and his Espada all those years ago. However with a sentence of 20,000 years in the lowest underground prison level, the 8th level “Avici” soon Aizen will be transported to the Central 46 for a new trial and sentence.

Recently a small group of Vizards have appeared out of nowhere. The origin of these Vizards is still unknown; however, what is known is the hate the have for soul society. Unknown to the Shinigami this group plans on free Aizen on the day he is transported to the Central 46. If Aizen becomes the leader of this group it would be likely that the Arrancar to would join them.

This new generation of Shinigami have seen battle and war, but nothing like what happened 20,000 years ago. They have all earned the right to be called the Gotei 13 but compared to the Gotei 13 of old can they be called strong? They will find out soon whether they want to or not. Faced with an army of Vizard and Arrancar, with Aizen as there leader, can this new generation of Shinigami fight back or will they fall?
