It is the part of the fruit that always gets thrown away to get to the juicy center. The people who do this just want the pleasure of the moment, not realizing what they've done. The peel spent months shielding the fruit inside, feeding it, nurturing it. Through all this, it still keeps it's bright color and shape, proud of where it is and what it has accomplished.
And Yet...
The peel is ripped off and discarded.
