In this reality Professor Charles Xavier's school was only very recently founded in a remote area of Northern Ireland. He has only been able to detect mutants whose powers have just emerged leaving those whose powers spurred before the foundation of the school without any guidance. That is almost everyone over the age of fourteen.

And much like San Fransisco became the gay capital of the United States the large northeastern city of Drevenport has become the unofficial mutant capital of North America, but in a very "don't ask don't tell" way.
