Welcome to the Sailor Moon Allianced Guilds Art Contest! We are happy that you have joined us in this magnificent contest. We are open and we hope you submit many great things!

This contest will last from September 18, 2005 until April 15, 2006 August 1, 2006. That gives everyone time to have all artwork submitted in. All contest rules and category information is listed in the posts below.

There is no entry fee...but we will be holding avatar contests in the duration of this contest. All avvy contests will be 120 gold each for a prize of 1k in gold with 10 open slots.

Prizes: We haven't bought the main prize, yet. O.o But don't let this discourage you. We will be buying the letter with the donations received from this contest and also, angel_baby_4 will be saving up herself to get it. If for some reason, we still don't have those prizes by the end of the contest, angel_baby_4 will be giving away items of equal value to the winners at that time.
The planned prizes are: (Couples/Groups = Choice of Staff of the Angels or Demonic Pitchfork), (Singles = Solar Headdress), (Made-up = Lunar Cowl), (Bonus = Sealed Letter for April).

Judges: All the guild captains involved. angel_baby_4 and cohchotheempress will choose five finalists for all sections and the guild captains will vote on the best one out of all the artwork. All finalists will receive an award image saying that they participated and received finalist positions. ^.^

Updates

4.18.06 - The deadline has been extended to August 1, 2006, due to my busy schedule and interest of new entrants. Also, you may join the guild(s) up until August 1st and still be eligible to enter.

2.10.06 - Sorry for the slow updates, but the prize for couple submissions has been changed to 20k instead of the angelic staff or demonic pitchfork choice.
Also, I have updated the page with lovely banners!! There are 4 to choose from. Please feel free to use any of them in your signature! I'll be working on smaller buttons/banners later.

9.17.05 - We have been able to contact a LOT of Sailor Moon-related guilds today, so after we hear most of their replies, we will open.

arrow DO NOT PM ANY GUILD CAPTAIN/JUDGE FOR ANY REASON!!! This thread is here for a reason. Do you have a problem with something? Post it in the thread. The appropriate thread moderators will look over your question(s) and answer them carefully. We love you and want you to be happy, but not at the expense of our inboxes filling up with crap.
arrow DO NOT FLAME! It's rude and you'll be banned from the thread/ignored. Don't hate, because we want this thread to be a great place for people to get together and win stuff!

Artwork Rules:

Do:
arrow BE A MEMBER OF ONE OF THE GUILDS! The deadline to join a guild and be able to still submit artwork is August 1, 2006. You may not quit the guild in the time span that you have submitted your work. Realize that if you quit the Sailor Moon Guild from whence you had originally submitted your artwork from, we will not even care whether or not it is the best thing we have ever seen. You will be disqualified. This also goes for getting banned from guilds for indecent behavior. Once you submit artwork from one guild, it is the guild that you are tied to through this contest. One word from the appropriate guild captain, and you are banned from the contest.
arrow Submit your artwork to the appropriate section. You may submit as many pieces of artwork into each of the main sections as you would like. You will only be eligible to win one of those sections. If your pieces tie for a certain thread, the better of the prizes will be given to you. ^.^
arrow You are eligible to submit artwork into the Bonus section as MUCH as you want to. This is a special section, only subjected to angel_baby_4 and cohchotheempress. That means...it has nothing to do with the SM art. We don't mind lots of submissions here. Send them all in. You are eligible to win this section, even if you've won one of the other Sailor Moon artwork section.
arrow Submit your artwork in ANY media you desire. We will be voting on a variety of things. The list of things we are voting on will be put in a later post, so look for that.
arrow All artwork should follow gaia guidelines which is: under 500 pixels, less than 100,000 bytes. If you feel you must break this guideline, pm TheAngelicDevilishDonator immediately with your reason why and we'll reply as soon as possible.

Last, but not least...
arrow Send in your trades to TheAngelicDevilishDonator before you submit the image to her mail.

The Categories in Which to Submit Artwork


arrow Artwork may be submitted in any media
arrow All artwork must be related to Sailor Moon, unless it is the Bonus section, in which is have to be avatar art of angel_baby_4 and/or cohchotheempress.
arrow We want artwork from the manga and animated show, not the live action show, please.
arrow If a situation arises where one person claims that you are using their picture, you must have proof that the picture was done by you. Screen shots will work, as well as previous saves from when you first started working on the artwork. First and middle stages.
arrow Any artwork from this contest can/will be used by the people/guilds that they pertain to. If you don't want your artwork used, do not submit it. This is to help give guilds images to use and rely upon for various events. Thanks for your support!
arrow If we find out that the artwork used in this contest was submitted to another art contest, we will ban you from this contest. That goes along with stealing other people's ideas. Don't do it. We want recent/original artwork, only.

Multiple submissions per person in this category allowed.
These are pictures of two or more characters from Sailor Moon. It does not matter who you choose or how many you draw in the picture. These can be of any media type. Please make sure, though, that they are no more than 8 1/2 x 11 inches (letter paper). If they are larger than this, please condense them in size. Otherwise, we cannot accept them and we will not resize these images for you.
