As you enter, you see a little black cat sitting on the counter to your left. It stares at you and then starts mewing, as if calling to someone.

"Shido, what's wrong?" a voice calls.

A girl with long dark pink hair and pink eyes opens a door behind the counter and peeks out. "Oh! Customers? Hold on, I'll be right out!" she calls. This girl leaves the door cracked and disappears; after about 3 minutes she walks out to greet you.

"Sorry, I was in the back cleaning up a bit," she explains, brushing herself off a little and scratching the cat behind the ears. "I see you have met Shido! Well, I guess you are here to see the Kazimirs. They're this way!" she smiles, pointing the way through the door she has just emerged from. "Follow me!"

As she leads you down the hallway, she stops suddenly. "Oh, how rude of me; I've forgotten to introduce myself!" she chides herself. "I am Buritsutani, owner of this shop and caretaker of the Kazimirs!" she exclaims, bowing low.

After introductions, she leads you through another door at the end of the hallway. "The Kazimirs are in here. I believe Anjiru is with them now..." She allows you to enter first, looking around with a frown before sighing, "I guess not..."

Buritsutani walks over and pets an animal that is about twice the size of herself, explaining, "This is Nontle.... she is the 'mother' of all the Kazimirs. She cared for them when we find them. You are probably wondering what a Kazimir is..."

Buritsutani walks over to a cage-like pen and continues to tell the story about Kazimirs as she plays with one of the cubs within. "Kazimirs are cat-like creatures. They grow to be about the size of full-grown lions--creatures to which Kazimirs are very similar. Of course, the males get a little bigger than the females," she explains.

"Adult females are very gentle and love little kids; they're kinda motherly. The males tend to like fighting and showing off, though I have seen some that are very good fathers and can be quite gentle, like the females," she adds, picking up one of the squirming young Kazimirs. "Cubs are very playful and can be a handful! They get into a lot of trouble if you do not watch them carefully. But that's all I really know about them, because I'm still uncovering their history!" She looked at you quikely then looked back at the cub.
?Kazimir means Bringer of Peace or anouncer of peace. I think of these little guys as little peace bringers to people. That is what I hope they do, Is bring peace into their owners home?.?

The Fall of the Kazimirs

In the beginning of all times, when the first stars blinked into existence, a race came into being. A few of the smaller stars chose to become something new: real, tangible creatures, breathing and singing. These wonders moved between the stars, walking with two legs on the inky blackness as though it was solid, weaving songs of light and happiness. Thus was the birth of the Kazimirs.

For time untold, the Kazimirs sang of peace and joy. The stars would talk with the creatures; the Kazimirs knew not only the sweetness of song, but the roars of huge suns and the tinkling of far-away icy pinpricks of stars. Through each other, the two groups learned much.

The fall of the Kazimirs began with the death of a star. Though it may take eons, a star must eventually die. The Kazimirs, an immortal race, didn?t understand the cooling of the great giant, and were thrown into confusion when the star one day stopped talking. In the disorder, one Kazamir began to sing in anger. That star had been his favorite; he refused to accept any explanation. As his heated song grew in intensity, other Kazamirs joined in. Soon the heavens shook with their pain and anger. Stars started to flare. A young star began to tremble violently, and exploded. The Kazamirs had sinned.

Most of the singers stopped. Others, though, had sensed the power they held, and sang all the louder for it. They fled from the wrath of the other stars, but prepared to prove their superiority. They hid on the original dead giant, awaiting an opportunity. Suddenly, they saw their entire race, every Kazamir ever born of a star, descending to join them. Many looked as if they were pulled against their will.

The Kazamirs began to notice a change in themselves. They could no longer stand on two feet, instead forced to crouch on all four. Longer hair covered their bodies; their faces contorted into something beastly. Their voices, the beautiful singing voices, were morphed into something rough and uncouth. They were bound to the dead sun, which was now sprouting greenery, and were unable to walk among the stars. Their vast knowledge was drained away; they forgot all the stars had taught them, forgot how to speak with the lights in the sky.

The Kazamirs were now beasts. Thy young were still born of stars, but at the pain of the mother. Some Kazimirs became destructive, destroying for the joy of it. Others struggled in vain to remember things of old that stayed just out of mind. Many of the crude songs sung by the coarse voices of the Kazimirs worshiped the stars as powers far beyond anything else.

Rarely, a Kazimir will disappear. It is always the dreamers, the ones with their faces turned toward the stars? silver light, the ones whose voices sound most pure. They disappear in the night, taken back and forgiven, given back the true form of the Kazimir, and allowed once more to roam between stars, singing of light and joy.

heart In Loveing Memory of Alex Kazimir Yorke heart
A Boy who I never met, would have loved too and never will....

My group was laughing in an attic one day, Alex Kazimir Yorke sat on the top step and I was sat beside him resting my head on his shoulder. Morgan was sat on the couch next to James and Oliver Harvey while Sarah (Friend) was sat on James's lap and Marina was sat beside me on the floor. Marina laughed and pointed at Morgan calling him her "b***h" (as in female dog).
Alex's hand shot into the air and he said, "Oh, oh, I wanna be a b***h!"
Sarah laughed and said, "You can't be a dog, and you're a cat"
Then I added, "He can't -be- a cat, I'm a cat. He's... He's just a.. A Kazimir. There you go. Kazimir. Special breed of feline >.<"
We all laughed and agreed that Alex Kazimir York laughed and he to agreed on being a Kazimir animal.

Several weeks later Brit comes to me with a question, "Kat, I'm making a shop on Gaia and I need a name."
Curiously I asked, "What type of store?"
"A feline store" Brit replied.
A smile crossed my face and I responded with, "Kazimir." I never told Brit the real meaning behind it, because at the time it never bothered me. I was dating Alex at the time and thought it was a great idea.
After a while of having the shop open, Brit came to me again with another question, "Where did you think of Kazimir from?"
Sadly I replied, "It's my ex's middle name. It means peacekeeper. Or so I'm told." Unfortunately Alex and me had broken up three day's prior to that and we both still loved each other so much.

On May 28th. There was a terrible accident. Something that I wish I could change. Alex had slept at Oliver's house that night. And they were going to take Ollie's dog Sarah for a walk. I was going away for the long weekend and the day before that my best friend Sarah and I had a fight (Which caused the boy's sleep over). The boys decided to take the dog for a walk along the Blackpool promenade with Ollie's other college friends -who we still only know of four that where there- it was 70 knots winds. Ollie's dad tried to stop them going, but Ollie had never learnt the word no and his dad never learnt how to say it.

At some point in the walk Sarah was let off her lead. The water was violent and crashed against the walls of the prom. Sarah -who still thought she was a puppy when she was really old with arthritis- decided to go to the water. Unfortunately a wave came up at that point and took her into the waters. Ollie and Alex saw her go in (we think) and ran after her along the Prom until they came to a ramp, both boys jumped the gate, with another friend hot on there trails. One of them held the railing as the other tried to reach Sarah. Kyle -One of the other mates- arrived beside them and was stood one step behind them when a massive wave came and knocked the two boys against the wall to pull them into the water.

We have no idea what happened next. Ollie's body was seen in the water or Red bank.... Marina and myself lived just off that road. Alex's body still hadn't shown up. One week full of tears at the name Kazimir, one week full of hate for the water, one week full of severe pain that nothing could kill... Alex was found. I looked to Gaiaonline as my escape of life. Where I could hide and live the life of someone else... Until I remembered the shop. I'd forgotten in the whole time to even look... I looked, and I remembered. Kazimir. The shop that I will forever love because of the connection it holds to my Alex.

Alex was the reason this shop was named. And I'm telling you this because we (Brit and myself) thought you'd all like to pay tribute to the name.
For if there were no Alex in the first place, there would be no Kazimir shop, right?

There are seven stages of life for Kazimirs. The fifth and sixth are rare, and still remain a partial mystery. (this is not including the death stage) I have just discovered the fabled seventh stage, which is so rare that not even I thought it existed until just recently! I still know very little about it, but I am investigating this stage further...

[Cub ---> Kit ---> Young Adult ---> Adult]
Females = Top :: Males = Bottom

~Cub~

This is the stage right after hatching. Cubs are very clumsy and explorative in this stage. Wandering around and exploring their new home and the world around them is what cubs love to do. There are just so many things out there for them to see! Because of being so explorative, a lot of Kazimirs in the wild don't make it past the cub stage. Cubs have a star on their forhead which is a representation of when they use to hatch from stars. This will disappear when they grow to the Kit stage. The Cub stage is usually about a week to 2 weeks long.

~Kit~

In the Kit stage, the star on the forehead disappears and Kazimirs calm down a little. If wild Kazimirs are lucky enough to make it to this stage, they seem more grown up and start to learn how to live on there own. Kits are very playful and are generally attention seekers; they will make sure you know they are there. Kits stay Kits for about 2 weeks.

~Young Adult~

The teenagers of the Kazimirs. Of course, like all teens, Kazimirs get attitudes too. Puberty and life hit them hard at this stage. Curious to know what is out there, they explore their minds, bodies, and souls. Breeding can begin at this age, although some pregnancies may not make it because the mothers are still young and growing. Although no miscarriages have yet happened to domesticated Kazimirs, they are still a possibility at this age. Kazimirs will stay young adults for about 2 weeks. How much you roleplay them during and after that 2 week period will determine how much longer they will stay young adults.

~Adults~

After figuring out about life and themselves, Kazimirs are all grown up, breeding and giving their kind the hope to live on. Adults can still be very childish, playing with other Kazimirs and with their offspring. The younger at heart they are, the closer they will be to their offspring, and the longer they will live wink Adults stay at this stage from now on, unless they do something that pleases the gods, who might just allow them to grow to one of the final three stages... Death does not come to Kazimirs for awhile...

~Death~

When a Kazimir dies, its soul is formed into a jewel. You can keep this jewel, equiping it onto a necklace or anything to keep it with you. You may also equip it onto a collar and put it on another one of your Kazimirs. When this happened, sometimes mystical things will happen to that Kazimir O_o...
Death comes quick to those who dont RP...

~Elders~

Elders are the oldest Kazimirs, ones who have been blessed by the gods, and who have escaped Death. There will be about one to three in each clan. With some special power (Sight of the Future, Reading Minds), Elders can help younger Kazimirs make decisions and help them through life's troubles. Elder males lose there mane and only have scruffy fur around their face and neck. Females fur gets longer along with the males...

~Guardians~

If your Kazimir becomes a Guardian, the tables will turn and they will become your protector. Guardians are heavenly incarnations of Kazimirs that have been extremely blessed. Guardians are also the protectors of the Kazimirs in their clan and have one elemental power. Kazimirs sprout Hugh wings from their back, each wing being the size of the Kazimir itself. The wings are not made of bone, skin and feathers, but bone, skin and fur. Fur around 2-3 inches long. Gardains sometimes use them for protecting others against the cold and protecting cubs from anything.

~Evolved~

No one really knows how or why it happens, but this extremely rare stage can occur. In this stage a Kazimir will evolve into a humanoid being. Not much is known about these Kazimirs: only that they have more human-like traits, such as the ability to walk on two legs, the development of fingers with which to hold objects, hair and faces reminiscent of humans, et cetera. They still are covered in fur, however, can talk in Kazimirish, and retain their ears and tail. I beleave now that I know their story, this happens to Kazimirs that do good things and are rewarded with the Kazimirs orignal form, but I am still uncovering this mystery...

"Come, follow me!" Buritsutani calls, and you follow her back out to the room you first entered when you came to the shop. "The rules for adopting are easy, but just in case you forget them, I have posted them on the bulletin board over there," she smiles, pointing to the announcement board posted next to a door you've not yet gone through. "The F.A.Q.s and the news are posted there too... The door beside it leads out to a grassed yard where you can play with your pet and meet other Kazimirs and owners."

How can I get one? And Can we get more than one?
You can get a Kazimir by flatsale, custom, auction, or pet trade. Yes, you can own more than one, but you can purchase only one per flatsale.

How many may I have?
As many as you want... We ask that you only buy one per flatsale, unless I say it is open to anyone after a while.

Do you do pettrades?
Yes, as I said before. Your pettrade will be a custom pet, Colored by me. Or if you ask another Colorist... they may do one too. But you will have to talk to me and the colorist about that...

Do you do customs?

Do you need a colorist?

Do Kazimirs talk?
Not till they are grown to Kits, Kazimirs speak their own language (Kazimirish) and ours... Cubs can not speak, Kits speak like toddlers. If you are in Kazimir Plains the cubs can speak only Kazimirish. But again cubs are the babies of Kazimirs, Kits are toddlers. Remember that when you RP your Kazimir talking... if you wish for your cub to talk in the shop, it must be inside ~ Kazimir Speech Here ~. only other Kazimirs and I can understand them wink

Can I have a picture of my pet, without the table in the background?
All you have to do is ask me and I will get it for you!

When do we name/find out gender/put into a pride, our Kazimir?
You do that after they hatch...

The Ochieng Pride

Not far from the end of Kazimir plains lays a valley where a pride of Kazimirs have settled. Surround but savananna grass and umbrealla trees, this is the perfect place for the Kazimir breed to live. A watering hole and a cave here and there makes its Home for the Ochieng Pride.

You enter walking down one of the high grass covered slopes and watch the young Kazimirs of this pride practiceing their hunting skills. You move from watching the young one play and continuer looking around. You look up in the biggest cave and notice a Purple kazimir laying on the top, her fur shimmering in the sun. You say to yourself,
"That must be the Leaders den" and then continue looking around. After awhile you find a nice rock and settle down on it, watching the young ones practiceing again. One little you can see very well from here, is hunched down in the tall grass. It watchs as another young kazimir comes pranceing by pround of its "kill" of a feather a bird had lost. The kazimir pounces just as the other one passes, right when it lands on the other you hear a warm, bold voice from behind you.
"Good arnt they?" Startled you fall backwards, and the voice lets out a warm, hardy laugh. He looks down at you and say...
"As you can see we are very good hunters, runs in our blood!" He says as he strightens up and stands tall and proud. You gets back up and sit on the rock watching him.
"Sorry, i didn't mean to scare you. I just smelled someone new and when I first saw you, you were watching my mate.... I wanted to see who you were." He says with a smile.
"I Am Apollo, leander of the Ochieng pride." He says as he nods to the pride below and bows.
"That Kazimir over there..." He nods over to the purple one over sunning on the rock. " Is Celeste, My mate and Queen of this pride." He says as he smiles.
"As long as you mean no harm to us you are welcome to stay.." He bows agains and walks over toward Celeste.....

The Navmaldeuh Pride

Walking through the woods you start to here what sounds like children laughing as you walk deeper. After walking more and the laughter gets louder, you notice a opening in the trees. You walk into the clearing and see Kazimirs playing in the luscious green grass. Surround by trees this place is hidden to most creatures. As you look around you hear a crunch of fallen leaves behind you. You jump and whip around to see a dark Kazimir covered in spots shaped like stars.
"Hello, Welcome to the Navmaldeuh Pride lands!" She says with a smile.
"I Am Hekrd, mate of the leader of these plains" Just as she says that and bows slightly, you notice another dark Kazimir approching you from the woods. This Kazimirs is bigger then the female and as it gets closer you can tell it is a male from his mane. He walks up beside Hekrd and nuzzles her has his Fur sparkles in the sun.
"Duin" She says as she nuzzles him back.
"We have a visitor..." She smiles and look back up and you again.

"Oh! Sorry for my rudeness... I am Duin, leader of the Navmaldeuh Pride" He say quickly as he takes a bow.
"You are welcome t mingle around with the pride if you wish..." He smiles and walks off into the clearing and is greeted by many of the Kazimirs.
Hekrd follows him and turns back to you noding her head inviteing you to come on.....

The Gwandoya Pride

Far to the North of the Kazimir shop, a haunting mountain range looms forbiddenly over the Kazimir Plains. For years, young Kazimir were taught never to venture into the mountanous territory due to the dangers...Now, a new threat has arrived to scare the young Kazimir away.
Traveling through the valley, the grass and plant life begin to wither away. Step by step the light begins to fade, the air chills, and the sun falls behind the mountains. Small decayed bones scattter the path, you look up and into the distance... A horrifying sight reveals from the thick fog...an elephant graveyard. Massive skulls and torsos with no flesh left, this is no place for you to be.
A deafening roar calls out from the heights of the mountain. You gaze upward catching only a glimpse of a figure with fiery red fur...the figure disappears into the heavy fog.
"You are not welcome here, unless it is your wish to die..." A strong female voice is heard as she appears on the path before you in the fog. Was that blood on her coat? "Run, and never return to this place. This is your only chance." She roars, as you make your decision...
Only can join if your Kazimir has been kicked out of another pride and hates them...

The Loners

Spawn: None

Loners have no one place to live, they sleep somewhere one night and are on the move to a new spot the next day. There is no leader and no pride, just as the name says they travel alone. Kazimir must at first be in a pride and forced out by the leader for a crime they have done. You can not choose this pride for your Kazimir to live in, it is a punishment... They are banished from their pride.
Only can join if your Kazimir has been kicked out of another pride...

After I post GO in big orange letters, the flat sale will start. The Halloween Kazimirs are 7k each, after you have your kazimir, we ask that you head over and join the guild ^^
If there is a higher or lower price between the Name or Number of the Kazimir and the picture, that is the price of that Kazimir. Some of these have Lineart Edits that will add more to the price.
SOLD Will be underneth the Kazimirs name if it is sold already.

To those who want to start a pride....

It will be 6K and a long talk with me.... You must PM me stateing why you want and think your Kazimir should start a pride. You also must see if any pride sopts are open and your Kazimir must be a loner to start a pride. This means that your Kazimir has to be kicked out of another pride to be a loner. Prides are not giveing out to anyone... Rules to be followed before you start a pride...

Your Kazimir must...

1) Have a mate
2) Be an Adult
3) Owner must be one alot
4) At least RPing a good amount everyday
5) Must be a Loner
6) A pride spot must be open...

After you have cheacked and apply to all of this, you must PM me saying..

Sprits are little fairy cats. They look a bit like tiny Kazimirs with wings. One of these Sprits can be purchased for your Kazimir; these tiny creatures love being around Kazimirs and keeping them company. They have ONE element which is their special power. Sprits can only be bought when your Kazimir is an adult, and only with FSs...

Elements Table

Elements

Earth ~ Have powers to grow flowers and other earth powers. Markings of things that come from nature. [Example: Bark, flower petals, and grass]

Water ~ Water powers, flooding, raining... Markings will be those like you see in water. [Example: Waves, flowing, and ripples]

Fire ~ Burning things and lighting fire from nowhere. Their markings are those of fire... [Example: flames and smoke]

Love ~ Basically a little Cupid; can make your Kazimir find love faster. Markings of hearts and other things you think of with love.

Wind ~ The howling wind... Can make wind come from nowhere and other powers dealing with wind. Markings are like leaves blowing and other ways associated with wind.

Dark ~ Evil powers, can use any kind of Black Magic. Unknown markings.

There are 4 little animals that can be chaugh for your Kazimirs.... This animals are just small savanna animales that are found all over the Kazimirs Plains. You can buy a Familar when your Kazimir is at any age, and may only be bought when a FS is going on...
