--Do not steal the art. It was hard work!
--Do not harass anyone in this thread! Whether is be an artist, or an owner, or simply someone visiting. This place does not welcome Drama Queens, Flamers, or people who find making others feel bad acceptable. Because it's not.
--Please do not PM any of the artists here. If you have a question, post here in the thread. It's checked regularly!
--You are not required to RP these pets! However, RPing the pets will get you the 4th stage, as well as other perks that involve advantages to breeding.

Flatsale Rules:

Flatsales will NOT be one giant rush of posts at a certain time to claim one. These are far too stressful, and those with slow connections almost always lose. Instead, Flatsales will be done through raffleing.

--Raffle spots will be available for the full 24 hours before the raffle takes place.
--You may only have 1 raffle spot.
--You must post here in the thread for a raffle spot. This ensures that we know that you're interested!
--If you have won an Omen in a flatsale, you will be expected to pay 5k for your omen.
--You must send a trade for your Omen before 24 hours have passed, or your flatsale Omen will be reraffled.
--Those who win in Flatsale raffles will be expected to calmly discuss who gets which branch. Fighting and whineing will mean the branches are distributed randomly, and you most likely won't get the branch you wanted anyway.
--Raffle spots are FREE.
--Do not discourage others from getting a Raffle spot. This will only ensure that YOU do not get a raffle spot yourself.
--I will not PM you if you have won a raffle! It is up to you to check back. If you cannot be around to check during or right after the raffle, please say so when you post that you are interested in the raffle. That way I can bend the 24 hour payment rule.

Auction Rules:

--Unless otherwise specified, only gold and donation items will be accepted in auctions.
--Please do not PM bids. Only bids posted in the auction will be accepted.
--Please do not discourage others from bidding. If we see this, we will warn you, and if you continue to do it, your bids will become null and void.
--You must have shown interest in the auction at least 2 hours before the auction closes, in order for your bid to count.

RP Rules:

--RPing is NOT required, unless you want the 4th stage!
--No God moding. These creatures have no magical abilities unless otherwise stated, and are just as fragile as humans.
--Feel free to RP by AIM, or other messenger service. If you want to prove you have RPed with another person, however, you must send the RP log to THIS ACCOUNT, otherwise it doesn't count.
--Feel free to RP in this thread.
--If people are RPing in this thread, please use brackets or some other form to show that it is OOC.
--Original Characters are allowed to RP in this thread, but, due to the nature of this island, their abilities such as magic, telepathy, and other such thing are disabled. The reason for this is simply for my sanity in keeping things in order here. If you don't approve of this, please don't play that particular OC here.
--Please ask before joining in the RP, to make sure that both parties are alright with someone coming in. They could be having a personal moment, and might want to keep it personal.
--Please wait till all trades have been confirmed, and you actually have your omen tagged and what not before RPing, just to give things a chance to get cleared up and in order.

Ages ago, the spirits of the animals roamed the earth quite freely, as the people of the world respected and revered them. They were seen as signs, as guides to a nature that was still new and wonderful. Over time, however, the spirits were forgotten, as people progessed and became more 'civilized'. Eventually, the spirits vanished, hiding form a world which they had once known, but, now had become so unfarmilar. Only the bravest leave their santum to find suitable guardians (Or lost souls, whoever you tend to ask) to be compainions with.

The new spirits, however, have discovered that their spirit forms are not seen as good omens as they were in the past, so they have worked to become more visually appealing and easier to accept. Today's spirit animals are takeing the form of humanish creatures, easy to recognize, and accept. Do these spirits still bring omens of the future? It is impossible to tell at this moment, but time will tell.

Stage 1

The Branch
(Summoning the Omen)

A simple branch, the first stage of your Spirit Child is meant to attract a spirit animal. These branches can come in a number of species and colors, from factual to fantastic. Each branch has the the ability to attract one of three different animals, so you will never be sure what you are getting.

Stage 2

The Spirit Animal
(The First Omen)

Common Animals

The Rabbit.
Representing speed with silence, the rabbit's ability to survive while being on the menu for many other creatures is a remarkable feat. The Spirit of the Rabbit is often a good sign, often representing fertility.

The Fox
Craftiness and intellegence are it's strongest features, the fox requires them to survive. "Cunning as a fox" is a common phrase, and quite accurate in description. The Spirit of the Fox, however, is often representative of a mischievous spirit that's up to no good.

The Bear
The bear is a creature born of strength and durability, and often misunderstood as rampaging killing machines. Hardly a fact, the bear is merely a defensive creature, much prefering to forage for food, then mangle a person. The Spirit of the Bear represents strength, and is often used for warriors.

The Bird
The bird is one of the most verstile creatures when it comes to things it represents, but, it most commonly represents freedom, due to the fact it can fly. Depending on the species, however, the other things it can represent range from peace, all the way to death and disease. The Spirit of the Bird is often used to represent the wandering spirit, or speed.

The Lizard
When you're a creature that has outlasted humans for millions of years, you have to have earned some respect. The lizard is often revered for it's ability to not only survive and possibly outlive the human race, but, also how much of it's species can regrow attachments that they have lost. The Spirit of the Lizard represents luck, durability, and longevity.

The Cat
Grace, Pose, Intellegence, and a wicked sense of humor, the Cat knows what it's doing, and it doesn't care if it interfers with your plans. The Spirit of the Cat is more often the large preditory cats, and represents Power and Grace. This Spirit, however, is the domesticated (Or have they domesticated us?) feline, which represents the Grace and Power on a smaller scale.

The Horse
Speed, Power, Elegance, these words are often used to describe the horse, a creature that has long raced through our dreams and fantasies. Having been domesticated for as long as the human race could string sentences together, the horse still boggles the mind of many men and women. The Spirit of the Horse demonstrates strength and speed in a perfect combination.

The Uncommon Animals

The Whale
Rarely seen, the whale as a Spirit animal is more often seen by those living along coastlines, and in the cold tundras of the north, rather then those living in the forests. It represents the power and changing tides of the sea, and is an omen of change in the wind.

The Bull
Strength and unmoving determination, the bull is a creature that is revered as a pillar of strength. Often seen as a symbol of fortitude and sheer will, the Bull is a welcome Omen in many cultures. At times, however, the bull represents anger and agression, and is seen as a symbol for rage.

Third Stage

The Spirit Child
(The Second Omen)

More of a teenager then a child, the Child comes after manifesting from the spirit animal. They often have features of the animal they manifested from, and there are very rarely two that are ever exactly alike.
(There are also multiple poses for the Spirit Children in this stage, up to 6 different poses.)

As an example, meet one of the Spirit Children, Adam.

His spirt animal was the rabbit, but he has other unique qualities. His particular theme is that of a raver, so hence, he has multicolored hair, fake wings, and other such things.
(He's also not for sale, sorry! He's the property of Chieko-chan n_n )

Fourth Stage
(The Visonary Omen)

This is the fourth stage drawing, completly up from scratch. Yuru was kind enough to give me this as an example of what RPing earns you. n_n

The fourth stage also offers you perks when it comes to breeding, as well as other perks that I haven't thought up yet. I'm sure there's more!

The Tag

This is the standard tag you'll see with your Omen.

This tag is what shows when your Omen is about to change a stage. This is the ONLY warning you will get that an Omen is changing.

How to get a Custom

In order to receive a custom Omen, a few things have to happen. The artist you want your custom from must be available to do said customs, and you must either have collected enough points, or are willing to pay the price for one. I know, they seem expensive, but customs are meant to be very rare, and hard to get.

Points are earned through random events, RPing, or can be bought at a certain price of gold.

These are characters that can be found around the island, whether they're played by staff members, or by owners themselves.

Chieko Meng Ue

Chieko Meng Ue is a long time resident of the island, and has her own Omen which she keeps under her wing. She knows a lot about Omens, but, she's certainly not an expert. She owns a house just outside of the city, which is more like a small inn then an actual house. She's friendly, out going, and loves to meet people, and is quite energetic despite her appearence in this picture.
