Welcome to Gaia! ::

Yes! Welcome to quite possibly the only roleplay of it's kind! This is a literate roleplay, and hopefully one of quality, so there will be rules!
A. Absolutely no asterisks. Roleplay in story form, please, and use quotation marks when you're speaking.
B. Go by Gaian general rules. Romance is certainly welcome, and encouraged, and all that, but don't take it past the boundaries.
C. No killing each other. That's a given.
D. Control only your own character. That's also a given, but you'd be amazed how many times I've had someone else take over my character, and it's irritating-- trust me.
E. PM your profiles to me.

"I wish the goblins would come and take everyone in this house away. Right now."

The words had seemed so false. The reaction was so minimal. Alex had begun to doubt that it would work-- that so many people would be drawn into a world of fae and goblins, but it had been late, and the inhabitants of the house (which consisted of a hand full of her friends invited for a slumber party while her parents were away) were already asleep. She was weary, and so she lay her head down, and slept.

When she awoke, she had found herself lying atop a hill with said inhabitants sitting around her, looking absolutely horrified. Before them had been the majestic king of the goblins, shimmering, and shining in the false daylight.

Yes, they were given their thirteen hours, their chance at freedom, and yes, they were taking it, but there was something in the way that Alex moved.. so slowly, so relaxed, that made her worthy of suspicions, regardless of the fact that it was the way she had always moved, and always would.

The small group still had yet to face "Dangers unnumbered", but that was very soon to change.
Alex strolled nonchalantly between the walls of the labyrinth, the hem of her tattered costume sweeping the ground, and stirring up clouds of dust to plague the combat boots beneath. She tapped a rythem on the walls on either side of her as she hummed, trying to find the wall that they could go through.
"It's only forever..." Alex sang out loud as she continued to tap the beat against the walls, "Not long at all... Lost and lonely... Ah hah!" She stopped as she found the part of the wall that her staff actually went through. "Now," She announced, turning to the people who had not split from her, "Shall we go left... or right?"

Beloved Lunatic

Withen the Goblin City itself, Skyler roamed the rather small village. She felt like she was giant in munchkin land. Still she watched the goblins run around doing their usual Goblin self. Her gaze traveled towards the castle on occassion, staring up to a window before turning away. A goblin was trying to put something up and was having trouble doing so. She smiled softly as she walked over to help him out. He thanked her before running off.

She sighed softly as she looked to the entrance of the goblin city....She wodnered if she could really solve the labirynth on her own....
With a shrug, Alex didn't wait to hear the answer of her comrades before turning down the hall she knew, from her unknown sources, to be the way that led straight to the Goblin City. A yawn passed her purple tinted lips, and she frowned slightly.

Beloved Lunatic

Skyler continued to wander though she was quietly making her way towards an exit of the city. She slipped through a small gate on silent steps, hoping to not draw the attention of either the goblins or the king himself...though she would rather face the king's wrath...

After escaping for a few minutes, she wandered down the path that led away from the castle, when going in the oppisite direction would lead straight to it.
Naturally, Alex and Skyler ended up face to face. Alex just stood there for a moment, blinking as she tried to recognized the girl. She couldn't. She shrugged slightly before finally coming out with, "Hello."

Beloved Lunatic

She looked at her and smiled, while tilting her head slighlty.

"hello..."

Remembering what happened previously she had to ask. "You by any chance wouldn't be missing any younger siblings would you?"
Alex shook her head a bit, "no," She stated, "I happen to be missing myself." She shrugged, and looked around. "How long have you been in here?"

Beloved Lunatic

She shifted slightly. "Not long..."

She smirked at her previous response though, finding it a bit amusing, though she knew it was quite true...

"Seems alot of women enjoy placing themselves here..."
Alex scowled lightly, before moving her staff about, "I'm nothing like them." She stated confidently, "I'm different. Special, you could say, although what exactly makes me special isn't something I can list...."

Beloved Lunatic

Her smirked broadened into a grin. "That's what they said..."

She turned on her heel, thinking it was time to thead back to the goblin city.
