Roleplaying IS Required. Unless under special circumstances such as pet-trades or Hiatus, all owners will be required to Roleplay a minimum of twice a week, or make one considerable sized Roleplay per a week. After two weeks of neglected RP, a warning will be sent. You will have one week to respond and catch up on rping before a second warning is sent. If you have not responded a week after the second warning, your Student will be taken away and re-auctioned a month later, and you will be put on the RPing greylist. Within that month you are allowed to PM us with a reason as to why you weren't RPing/Responding, such as you went on vacation and forgot to post about it. If you can give us a good enough reason, ownership of your Student will be restored.
About Hiatus's-
If you have to go visit your sick grandmother for a few weeks, or are going on a family vacation, You are allowed to go on Hiatus from the shop. However, if you're not RPing for this reason, you also cannot be making tons of posts throughout the rest of gaia during this time. The only reason Hiatus are allowed is because during this time you're supposed to have something better or more important to do than waste your time on gaia.
NOTE: If you take multiple breaks such as this within a reletively short period of time, your integrety may be drawn into question. If One of both of the Co-Owners Decides you've been skipping out a tad too much then blam, Two warnings and your student is gone.
Now then, naturally there are some rules and guidlines as to what you can and can't do in Roleplay, mostly the basic stuff.
1.
Set Limits- Your Student is NOT all powerful, especially at the first stage. Basically, we're saying no godmodding, roleplay realisticly, if your character gets smacked in the head it's gonna hurt.
2.
Don't RP Anybody elses student- Unless you have their permission, of course. You cannot say, for instance, "Timmy sends a gigantic fireball at spikes head, it has a direct hit and spikes head is completely incinerated." Because that doesn't give the owner of spike a chance to respond. The proper way to do that would be, "Timmy conjures a gigantic fireball, flinging it at Spike's head. The whole Battle, if he scored a direct hit Spike's head would be completely incinerated."
3.
Don't interrupt RP- It's fine to join in a roleplay, but say someone's in a fight with another, unless your student is a good freind with one of the students in the fight it would not make sense for them to suddenly jump out of the crowd and try to stop the fight because they were passing by. For the sake of lazyness, let's just continue with the example we used above, which we will continue to use throughout this. Example of what not to do, "Johnny runs over and jumps in front of the fireball, destroying it with his sword." This would set the Roleplay entirely off balance, because both Spike and Timmy would then have to deal with somebody they didn't even know jumping between their attacks. Now, say Spike and Johnny are best freinds, "Johnny glances through the crowd, looking for Spike. Where the Hell was that guy? They were supposed to be studying reaping techniques together. As the crowd parts, Johnny sees Spike in a battle to the 'Death' with his archnemisis, Timmy, with a fireball hurling straight towards his head. 'Spike! Lookout!' Johnny cries, attempting to fling himself between the fireball and his best freind." This would be a proper way to do it, as it would
On Angels and Demons
Roleplaying angels and demons is a little different than Roleplaying a normal student. Angels and Demons will not have any scars to remind them of how they died, any personal grudges against the sort of people responsible for their death, or any fears pertaining to the way they died. Angels and Demons are either Cast out of thier normal homes for some sort of unforgivable act and sent to deathwish as punishment, or are found to have qualities suitable for a soulreaper, or something like that. They still have powers, chosen weapons and the like, but The lack of actually dieing can make a big difference. Also, Angels are not strictly good and kind and Demons are not strictly mean and evil, remember that.
