I'm sure most people have seen the movie "Pay it Forward". A somewhat cheesy feel good movie about how you can change people's lives by doing favours for them.

If everyone did it, though, it would work. If every person in the world did 3 favours for other people, and those three people did three favours for three more...etc etc etc..
Surely you can understand where I'm going with this.

Maybe we can't change the world, and I'm not suggesting we try. But maybe we can make a difference on Gaia?

WHAT DO I DO?

You don't HAVE to do anything. But if you WANT to help us out and see if we can make a difference, by all means!

It's simple, really. Do a favour for 3 people on Gaia. It doesn't have to be big but it has to MEAN something. It has to take a little effort on your part.

When you do that person a favour and they say thank you, say "No problem! Just, Pay it Forward". If they don't know what you're talking about, tell them!

After you do a favour, it would be great if you let us know here so I can keep track somewhat. Not because I want to tally up how many angel points we have, just because I want to see how far it can go!

If someone has done you a favour and told you to Pay it Forward, let me know! I'll mark it down!

Paying it Forward does NOT have to be only about gold! Favours are favours. As long as you do a favour for someone that means something to them, it counts. Gold is just the easiest way to help other Gaians because it's something they always need. But it is not the only thing we're about!

For those of you who are low on gold or questing, the Q&A is always looking for nice people to help out people who have questions. Just helping someone out who's new and confused is a great way to pay it forward. You could probably do the same thing in the Welcome to Gaia forum.

Next post is Rules, and the 3 people and favours I started with...

WHO DID YOU HELP?

My 3 people are as follows:

SpiritCrusher: -finished his quest for him- heart
[lost.inside.hope]: -donated 4k for quest- heart
Hanako Ichigawa: -finished her quest for her- heart

Only one of these people I knew before I started Pay it Forward. The other two I just happened upon in this forum.

[lost.inside.hope] Gave me a drawing for helping her out. Chu!!!

1- We are not your average charity. You are welcome to post about your Quest in here but the gold and items we give out is random. This may change. We DO want to see your Quests though so PLEASE post links in the thread!
