Arpee- Faye meets Niko
Niko looks around curiously as she walks into the HQ, folding her wings to her shoulders so as to not knock anything over. Only the second time I've been here, still don't know my way around... She thinks to herself, walking slowly over to the bar counter and hopping onto one of the stools, letting her wings fall back behind her, but being careful so that they aren't in the way of anyone walking by.
Faye and Tsu/Kimiko entered the building, the brunette 'Pumpkin Queen' seeming more pre-occupied with a book she was reading rather than her adoptive daughter. Then again, the two had never been on the best of terms with each other, only barely acknowledging their relationship as of late.
"You're heading for the wall, Kimiko..." Faye remarked, leading the slightly taller girl away from her destination. Blinking, the older rabbit girl (although she hadn't been born that way, but rather, had become what she was through DNA injection) looked up and headed instead for the floor in the living room, at which point she sat.
Sighing irritably, the ebil pink haired rabbit girl, complete with her usual companions of one or two evil rabbits, made her way to the kitchen, intent on finding something to eat that was actually considered food.
Niko looks up as she hears the front door open, looking over her shoulder as a teenage girl with bright pink hair and rabbit ears and a woman who is more then likely her Guardian/mother come in. As the rabbit girl comes towards the kitchen area, Niko smiles cheerfully at her, folding her wings closer to her body so the teenager has room to step. "Hullo, there."
Faye glanced at Niko and nodded, looking generally impassive.
"Hello to you as well," she replied, "Who might you be?"
It wasn't that Faye was especially social- rather, she was making a bit of an attempt to get to know people. It was better than chatting with a whiny angtsy teen whom she could only hear in her mind. The rabbit girl was starting to doubt she was truly reincarnated from said teen, especially since her memories and the girl's stories didn't match up.
Meanwhile, Kimiko scratched head head absentmindedly as she read. Her ears weren't visible at the moment; they only appeared when transformed or during times of extreme stress, but they still seemed to contribute somehow to her head itching. Somehow.
She spins around on the barstool so that she faces Faye, holding her left hand out, the green vines on her skin dancing and twining around. She smiles brightly, her whiteish eyes gleaming softly as she grins. "I'm Niko, nice t'meet'cha." She twitches her wings a little as they are now in between her back and the countertop, and squishing a little painfully agaisnt her shoulders.
"Faye's the name. No surname or anything of the sorts, although Kimiko suggested once I take on the family name she's assumed, not that it's her real name," the rabbit girl remarked, shrugging.
She glanced behind Niko, or rather, at the wings.
"I wouldn't know much about having wings or anything of the sort, but I must say that your current position looks rather uncomfortable."
sweatdrop "Errmm, well, not entirely..." She laughs, grinning sheepishly and rubbing the back of her neck with a hand, before spinning on the stool again so she is facing the counter, her wings spread out behind her. She smiles broadly, stretching her arms backwards with another grin at Faye. "THat's better.... And it's nice too meet you, Faye."
"Likewise," came the simple reply.
Faye looked around Fa'e HQ for a moment, noting how empty it seemed. Then again, it usually was near empty when she found time to come.
Not that such was a bad thing- she hardly knew any of the Fa'e or Guardians, anyways, and those she did know she either barely remembered or hadn't seen in ages.
"So, do you come here often, or is this your first visit?" the teen inquired.
She fidgets. "Ermm, well, I've been here before, once, this is my second time, so I don't really know anything here, though I met some of the guardians last time, and my daughter hung out with Silver, I believe his name is, a big gray werewolf, and a blue dragon and a black cat girl."
"A black cat, hm...?" Faye mused.
"I know of a black cat, although I haven't seen her in awhile. Vaguely remember the other two, so I can't help you there," she said.
"Your daughter? I'm assuming you are not a Guardian, so she's another race? Meh. My 'sister', Solange is a Banir Kinder."
She nods. "Yeah, the daughter I'm referring to is a Banir Kinder too." She grins, smiling. "I've got a few banir kinder children, 3, and another one on the way. As well as a few other kids from other places, quite a few. So our house get's really hectic once everyone's awake." xd She laughs, leaning agaisnt the counter.
"Huh. That's a bit more than myself. Somewhat. If I have other siblings aside from Solange, the world may never know. The house is full of Faekats and other assorted pets, although we had a few Usagi take up residence for awhile."
She frowned as she remembered the chaos associated with that.
"Otherwise it's just myself and Solange. She's still an infant, I think. Fire angel and whatnot, has a Fire Gauntlet or whatever you call it to keep her from burning the house down, although I swear I smelt burned fur awhile back..."
She laughs, leaning her head back on the counter top and looking at the ceiling with a smile. "Ha ha, that really makes me think of Aqua. She's a water elemental, so there's always something wet. I don't think I have any kids with fire abilities though, though none of them are older then 12 except for Zuko, whose 16, and so far hasn't shown anything like that."
"Charming," Faye muttered.
"The only thing that I wonder is how my 'mother' willingly leaves a pyro child alone with sentient animals. Miren was supposed to do babysitting, but that crazed fox Mew hasn't shown up for all of enternity."
She raises an eyebrow, looking at Faye quietly. "Oh? Whose Mew and Miren?" She spins around a little, back and forth, back and forth, on the bar stool, the stool squeeking softly under her very slight weight.
"...well, Mew is just a shortened version of Mew Mew, which to some is even shorter for Tokyo Mew Mew," Faye attempted to explain. She made a face as she spoke the next part.
"They're basically your average magical girls, only these ones are infused with the DNA of some random animal. That one-" the rabbit girl pointed to Kimiko "-Is merged with the Lower Keys Rabbit. Complains like hell all the time about how she's too old to be a magical girl, and how her waitress uniform makes her look like a jack-o-latern."
"Miren is Kimiko's ''sister''. They're not actually related; just good friends who decided to declare themselves as sisters on a spur-of-the-moment decision. She's got Kit Fox DNA."
Faye shook her head.
"Miren also is a prime example as to why those who act like sugar-high three year olds shouldn't be in charge of saving the world. I swear we're all doomed..."
She snorts, laughing as she sits up so her back doesn't smack the edge of the counter top. "Ha ha, that sounds just like Aqua, only she's not in a position of semi power, and doesn't have a uniform. She's always incredibly hyped up, even though I don't let her have caffeine, considering what it does to me." xd She grins, laughing. "And I've heard of the Tokyo Mew Mew, a friend of mine works for a shop for them." She smiles, grinning. "I think you might know her, since she most likely found your sister Solange, as well as four of my kids."
Faye rubbed her temples as she searched her memory. It sounded familiar enough...
"Is it...Arafie? Or at least, that was what Kimiko was calling her. Minto always says Arafel..."
She nods, grinning. "Yeah, close enough. Her name's Arafel, very sweet, and puts up with quite a bit. Has lots of kids, too, and she's also pregnant. Not sure how she can stand it all. I know I'd certainly try and run away." She laughs shortly, her eyes darknening with morose and somber thoughts for a moment, before she shakes her head to clear it up, plastering an overly cheerful smile on.
"Goody..." Faye grumbled, looking relatively uninterested. She didn't like children all too well, due to the fact that they were destructive beings, or at least they were in her opinion.
"Thankfully, Kimiko has no bilogical kids of her own. I do believe she mentioned once that if she ever did get knocked up, she'd want a lobotomy."
Niko snorts down another laugh, leaning forward with her elbow on her knees as she laughs softly, before sitting back up to grin at Faye. "Really, that'd definately be... Interesting, to say the least." xd
"I'm sure it would. Figure of speech, I'm hoping, but it would be amusing to see."
Faye paused to set down one of her lapine friends.
"But getting off the topic of ''bayyybees'' and that stuff, eh..."
She looks at the rabbits Faye is holding, and smiles at the one she set down. "Those are cute rabbits, mind me asking how come you're carryin' them though?"
"Because they're the closest things I have to weapons," Faye replied off-handedly. Realizing that the statement didn't sound all too politically correct, she pointed at the rabbit in an attempt to show its...ebil-ness.
"They're not ordinary rabbits; they're, well, 'ebil'. I first learned to summon them as a child. Anyways, some of them can fly, but I carry them around nontheless. Most of the time, they ride in my bag, though."
She raises an eyebrow. "Rabbits as weapons? Sorry, no offense, but that doesn't sound particularly damaging, lethal, or scary..." She grins, laughing as she looks at the rabbit, peering down at her bag in case another one might hop out.
"How many d'you have? I see two, but I take it you've got more, ah, 'ebil' rabbits?" She grins, swerving back and forth slowly on the stool still.
"You'd be surprised," Faye retorted, but didn't pursue the matter any further.
"Anywho...their numbers are infinite, although only one or two are actually physically here at any given time. The rest show up for battles and whatnot, or something like the candy run I had them do during Halloween."
She frowns. "Okay, now I'm a little confused. I got that their number's limitless, but physically here? Like solid flesh and blood y'mean? Sorry if I sound silly..." sweatdrop She blushes very lightly, but she grins sheepishly.
"Yeah...'cool'," Faye murmmered. She watched as the newest rabbit hopped/flew to the fridge, looking for meat. They never did enjoy eating carrots, as their vegetarian cousins did. It confused the rabbit girl somewhat, being that she was ebil like them, as she had no problem eating things such as sweets and vegetables. The girl wasn't much of a meat eater, anyways.
"So, like...what can you do? As in battle stuff, I mean."
She fidgets again, but shrugs in response to the question. "Well, I know how to use a staff to fight... Can't use a sword 'cause I'm kinda blind and can't see too well, but I've got song magick, so I can hum spells, I can heal people of minor wounds and stuff, aaannnd I can transform..." She ticks all these off on her fingers, the vines on her left arm dancing around.
"Oh."
Faye couldn't think of much more to say as her attention turned to the vines on Niko's arm. And she had thought she'd seen everything...
At this point, Kimiko stood from her position on the living room floor, and decided to wander into the kitchen, looking for a snack or two. Nodding slightly to the two beings already there, she ignored the ebil bunneh as she opened the freezer, looking to see if the HQ had any ice cream in stock.
She fidgets a little at the silence, but when Kimiko comes towards the kitchen, she jumps. sweatdrop "Ooh, umm, hullo, I'm Niko..." She holds her hand forward, the vines gleaming softly in the light as they twin around.
"Huh?"
Kimiko hadn't entirely been paying attention, it seemed. Looking a tad confused, she held a hand out herself.
"Um...I'm Kimiko. Nice to meet you...Niko? Nice to meet you, Niko," she said, trying not to glance at the vines. The Mew didn't think it'd be all too polite to stare, after all...
Niko laughs softly as she sees Kimiko's eyes go to the vines for the merest second before trying not to, and once she finishes the handshake, she holds her left arm up with a smile, the vines twisting around slowly. "Magick tatoo, kinda, for lack of anything else to compare it to. Totally harmless, and you can't feel any difference at all..." She lightly brushes her index and middle finger over some of the vines, which are all lying flat on her skin.
"Uh-huh...."
That didn't help any; now Kimiko's attention was fully devoted towards Niko's magical tatoo. Nevermind that strange markings were commonplace if one knew the right species, the rabbit girl still found it strange and odd.
"Uh...so...is it like how I have a mark on my palm and stuff? Not that it does anything...I think," she said, showing the winged woman her right palm, on which there was an orange mark resembling a rabbit-eared heart with paws.
Faye simply rolled her eyes at her Guardian's immaturity, and opened the fridge to fetch a carrot or two for herself while Kimiko was still busy. She could never figure how she got 'assigned' to the Mew Mew, and she doubted she ever would.
sweatdrop She fidgets, rolling her head on her neck a little bit. "Ermm, well, I guess so... I havn't the slightest clue as to how I got my vines, they just appeared after I got turned into an angel." She shrugs helplessly, spinning idly on the barstool.
"You got turned into an angel?" Kimiko asked, slightly curious and confused as to how that could happen. "Um...okay. Do I want to know the details, or is that some story for another time?"
Carrots in hand, Faye closed the fridge door and leaned against it, watching the conversation. One of the Legion members had hopped/flown to the top of the fridge and was observing as well, its beady little eyes glowing ever so slightly.
Satin Regret
She fidgets, shrugging a little. "Errm, well, it depends... I'm kinda hazy on how exactly it happened, since I was sorta dead.." sweatdrop (Havn't got her whole story worked out yet xP) "Well, basically I died when I was almost 16, and I can't go into the details, but I helped a special person out, but got killed after and got turned into an angel as an honor." She makes a face. "Then of course I got booted from the Angels, aaannnddd hurled to gaia." She rolls her eyes at the irony.
