Here is the breakdown of all of the contests we're holding, with their prizes, and how
to obtain them. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to PM RFC or princesspwrm. There
is also a post further down we'll be using as a FAQ to answer common questions 3nodding Anyone can enter
these contest, including charity staff, since the judging will not be done by them^^
Scariest Halloween Costume Contest
Date and Time
Starts: Friday, Oct. 28th @8PM PST (or around that time XD)
Ends: Monday, Oct. 31st @11PM PST (maybe before, depends)
Rules and Stipulations
-This is an avatar contest for Halloween, that means make them as scary as possible XD
-The entry into this contest is free, and there are an unlimited number of spots
-The costumes can contain any article of clothing on Gaia, as long as it makes you look scary
-There is no color scheme, however, black, orange, and red are the colors of Halloween biggrin
-To enter you must PM RFC with the avatar you want to enter. Please do not change your avatar
until we say we have it saved or you see it added to the list. If you do, then we will enter
your current avatar.
Contest Judging
The winner will be determined through a poll taken at the end of the contest. After the
slots close and all contestsants are entered, then RFC will create a poll in the chatterbox for the
contestants. Judging will be open for 30 minutes, after that time, the poll will be closed and the
winners will be announced.
Prizes and Fee
First Place: an entire RJU set. (RJU gloves, RJU shirt, RJU pants, Jacked Up Boots, Jacked
Up Cape, and The Jacket)
Second Place: 1K
Third Place: (if enough people enter) 500g
*Note* Prize values may increase!
Best Halloween Graphic Contest
Date and Time
Starts: Friday, Oct. 28th @8PM PST (or around that time XD)

-This is a graphic contest, the graphic MUST be done by you. No exceptions.
-You may submit banners, graphics, pixel images, and the like.
-All images must NOT exceed the 500 X 500 pixel limit gaia has set
-No copyrighted works of any kind are to be used in your graphics, unless with express
permission of the author. This means pictures of anime characters, halloween graphics or
backgrounds, and the like.
-If we find anyone to violate these rules, you WILL be disqualified.
Contest Judging

-You may use any media you wish; pencil, ink, or digital, as long as it is YOUR artwork.
-Feel free to be creative in the subjects of your art. But please keep it Halloween-themed.

Purchasing Slots
There will be an unlimited number of slots at 100g each. You may purchase as
many as you like, and as often as you want. Please send all your trades to RFC
with the titles to say something about it being for the raffle. You may purchase for

About the Charity:
The RFC, named Roaring Flames Charity, by the original creator AikaSama,
has been alive since May 2004. We've moved threads several times, but we're
still going strong. Since then, we have donated about 115, 000 to about 300
people, not including our events and contests. ^^ We like to chat, hang out
and meet new people, and have bunches of contests and parties for fun. Giving
gold away is fun, but meeting new people is more so. Stick around, bump our
thread, and win some prizes in the meantime.

Of course, XD. Anyone can come to the party-ball-giveaway, and just the fact that you hang
out in the thread could win you some serious random door prizes. You don't have to
pay anything to hang out, chat, flatter the staff, or enter the free contests, it's all for
fun and for your enjoyment. But if you want a chance to win the labcoat, you'll have
to pay for that event.

If you want to get the labcoat, you''ll have to buy a slot. Slots are 100g each, there will
be an unlimited amount, so feel free to buy as many slots as you want, as often as
you like. The winner will be chosen randomly with randomizer.org

You want one, you can get one very easy. Here's how.
-Hang out in the thread for at least 2 or 3 days of the event.
-Talk to all the charity staff members.
-Be fun, happy, and a cool person to hang out with.
Those are all of the requirements, seriously. I have so many items and a ton of gold, so chances
are, if you do those things you're gonna get some sort of prize. We're suckers at giving away
free stuff to people who will stay our friends, or are fun to talk to. But if you don't get one,
please don't complain.
Who can come/enter contests/buy raffle slots?
Anyone can come. ANYONE. Doesn't matter if you've been on gaia 2 years or two days.
This includes the charity staff. We love having people around, and throw events in to have fun.
It does take us some time and effort to acquire items and gold so please respect our rules, our
members, and anyone who chats in the thread.
How do I buy slots for the labcoat raffle? And who do I send the trade to?
To buy slots, you don't have to post or do anything special besides send a trade to RFC. You
MUST say something in the title about the trade being for the labcoat raffle, or we will not accept your
trade. If you are unable to edit the title in your trade, please post in the thread saying that your
trade is for the raffle, or PM RFC. It's very simple. Just let us know.
I have another question, who do I ask?
If your question isn't listed here, just post it in the thread. Don't worry about if anyone
asked it before, we have an incredible amount of patience when it comes to question-askers. If you
don't want to post it for everyone to see, PM RFC or princesspwrm. I don't mind PM's at all. ^^
