Welcome to Kuubero Island the new home of the Mongmongs...And what's this? A new sea species!

The Mongmong Box (original shop) was first created on Oct 3rd 2004, but due to reasons I had to shut it down. After that I had a ton of people bugging me to reopen it, however I didn't. Time passed and I wanted to open up a new shop. After winning a lineart acution I was talked into bringing back the Mongmongs. Which would explain why there's a new sea species. This species is not related to the Mongmongs in any way, they just inhabbit the same island.

    Q: How do I get a pet?
    A: Please read the Availability post...And the rules while you're at it.

    Q: Can I direct link my pet?
    A: For now yes you may. Once your pet is an adult however you MUST host your pet.

    Can I direct link my pet's guardian?
    A: No. They MUST be hosted on your own server. They don't grow so you don't need to be direct linking.

    Q: How many can I own?
    A: As many as you want...But this is subject to change.

    Q: Can I have one?
    A: Not for free no...Unless of course you're a friend of mine...Ooooor if you deserve it.

    Q: Do you do pet trades?
    A: Yup. See post #12.

    Q: Can I be a colourist/guest colourist?
    A: No sorry, not unless I'm looking for one.

    Q: Do you do customs?
    A: Yesssss, see posty #12....Course if customs are closed you can always bribe me.

    Mongmongs
    Unlike most creatures from the egg stage you can tell if your Mongmong is going to be male or female. The tiny paw mark on the egg is actually an indicator, glowing blue or pink depending on the gender of the Mongmong inside. The egg holds an apperance that of a large lightbulb, and is quite fragile. You should make sure that it is kept safe at all times.

    The baby stage is where your Mongmong will not be entirly active. Baby Mongmong prefer to sleep most of the time and will usualy only be awake to be fed. They are still very fragile and are to be handled carefully. All baby Mongmong have their own lightbulb plushie to help them feel more comfortable. But remember to keep them away from real light bulbs, for they may hurt themselves.

    As a child your Mongmong will become more curious about things, sleeping very little. It is best you keep and eye on them for they like to get into all kinds of trouble. You may give your Mongmong a light bulb as a treat, as they enjoy playing with them and making them light up with their electric personalities.

    Finally an adult, your Mongmong is now fully grown and ready to breed. Not all Mongmongs will be as mature as you would like, and they still have quite a lot of energy. They are more protective of those they care about and make great watch creatures. Most adult Mongmong enjoy watching over your younger pets making sure they stay safe and don't get into trouble.

    Grybura Seafins
    This species has recently been discovered upon the island down by Grybura Cove, the name of where they were found seemed to have rub off upon the species name itself. The apper to have traits of both a dolphin and a seal, which is quite odd, even for a creature upon Kuubero Island. Our reasearch has shown that they have not come into contact with Mongmongs as of yet (or if they have it hadn't been recored) and we have yet to find out how they'll react to each other. They live most of their lives in the cove coming to shore time from time to lay in the sun and take in air. Their flippers do allow them to walk around on land, but they cannot move to fast. The breath air, but their lungs can allow them to stay underwater for days on end.

    Babies tend to be very quiet and prefer to stay near shore until they feel comfortable venturing farther into the water. They tend to sleep more then normal, but can have some energy at times. They are extreamly small and will not venture onto land at all. At this age it is advised that you keep a good eye on your charge.

    As a child your Seafin will be more active and stay furthur from shore, but still not to far. They are quite small and prefer not to venture onto land for fear of being steped upon by larger ones of their kind. They apper to be more social at this age and their personality starts to develop.

    Once your Seafin matures into a teen things will start to get quite interesting. Most usually begin to find those who would be future mates and venture out of the water onto land much more frequently. They have a tendancy to wander off for days, espicially when on land. They tend to be quite moody and aren't afraid of speaking their mind...The non shy ones at least.

    Breeding costs 4,000g (4k). It may be split up however the owners like. The pets may breed once every two months IF a breeding spot is open. Litters may contain from 2-6 babies. The owners may choose to keep the offspring, give them to a friend (for free), auction them (giving 25% back to the shop) or have them be flatsaled.

    Some Rules To Follow
    Your pet must be an adult or past the adult stage to breed
    The pets must be of the opposite gender to breed
    Please do NOT RP the breeding
