Everyone has dreams to fly...to soar as a bird among the clouds high in the air. ..

There is a store that holds vague interest of the passerby, but to some it calls them with an unusual pull. Those with dreams to fly, those who have often tried to fly without their dreams.

Inside are vast numbers of birdcages, their sizes vairing with such amount that one couldn't believe there was a bird or creature that could fit inside. Yet somehow, depsite this, they are all filled with things that squack or sing in inhuman voices.

There are couches about and people are sitting in them, mixed in different conversations or simple reading books. As anyone enters or even stands outside, they all turn and smile towards the figure with a welcome that chills. This is Prendre le Vol. [Take Flight]

This is a shop that is home to Prendres, a special breed of pet that not only has a child, but a bird companion to match. Both the bird and child are fully RPable with unique personalites befitting them, and are fully custom down to the exact bird breed.

However, these pets are RP intense...

Store Rules

I know no one likes to have to read and follow rules, but if you would like to stay in this store and keep your Prendre le Vol, you might want to follow. [These will be updated as I think of them, so check back often]

+ Do NOT steal the art - The artists will eat you if you do, and you will be reported

+ No flaming - Beliefs are beliefs and the way things are played is the way they will be played

+ Follow the Gaian ToS - Plain and simple

Here are a few other rules, most peticulars. These ones I can be fairly calm about if broken, but please don't do it repeatedly.

+ No advertising - I don't mind if you mention it and take it to PM, but if you continually speak about it and demand things I will draw the line

+ Speak English - I really don't like l33t or poor english

+ No overquoteing - Please limit quoting to two or three times

+ Be polite - Cursing is okay, but limit it or censor it

+ Send all PMs to Prendre le Vol - Send one to anyone else and you will be ignored

Owner Rules

These are here more as guildlines I'd like you to follow. [More information can be found in the roleplay post]

+ Direct link your Prendre le Vol - when you recieve your child VIA pm, a code will be provided for you. If you want your baby to grow, direct link until the teen stage

+ Respect the feelings of others - if you don't like someone, don't make your Prendre le Vol automatically hate them or theirs. This is a game, don't ruin it

[Growth Stages]

[Stage One] - Egg and Infant
- A basic bird egg and a regular humaniod infant. The egg seems like your average bird egg, its outward colouring, size, and shape matching the breed of bird it is supposed to have come from.

The infant resembles a human with two arms and two legs, but that is about it. The size and shape of its limbs are not really clarified, but it is apparent already what gender the infant is. Whatever hair the infant has matches the colour of plumage the respected bird has, with eyes matching in the same way. Facial features somewhat resemble the bird, but very slightly.

[Stage Two] - Chick and Child
- A basic bird chick and a regular humaniod child. The bird chick is your average bird chick, its downy colouring, size, and shape matching the breed it is supposed to have come from. Gender is not apparent because it is still in a downy stage.

The child still resembles a human. Their hair clearly resembles the plumage of their bird companion in colour but not texture, with eye colour, size, and shape following suit. Anatomically the child grows as they should by their gender.

[Stage Three] - Adult and Teenager
- A basic adult bird and a regular humaniod teenager. The adult bird is your average adult bird with the size, plumage colouring, and shape matching its supposed breed. Gender is apperant in the colouring and does not have to match its humaniod companion.

Facial and body features are highly birdlike, but the teenager still resembles a human. Eye set, eye colour, eye shape, and eye size are the same from childhood, but limbs and neck take on a length based from their bird companion. The teenager has clearly grown anatomically to match their gender.

[Stage Four] - ??
- Rumor has it that a bird companion and a human companion can merge together into a humaniod with wings...

[How to Play]

About Roleplay

Please follow these basic rules when you roleplay.

+ Roleplay IS required - that is, if you want your Prendre le Vol to grow. This isn't something that will happen automatically

+ Cursing is allowed - only in moderation. If you feel like you seriously want a dirty-mouthed character, censor yourself

+ If you can't RP often, get a journal - check the "About Journals" for more information

This will come when the time arises for a Prendre le Vol to age

About Journals

Inside the guild we have set "journals" for each Prendre le Vol called Nests. Here are a few settings for use of journals.

+ Journals are SEMI required - if you don't want to keep a journal, that's fine. Just let Prendre le Vol know

+ Journals CAN replace thread RP - if you're busy and can't RP daily or often at all, two posts a month in your journal is all it takes to keep your Prendre

+ Keep your Journal clean - don't be vulgar in your journal and be super clean in the main thread

[How to Fly]

There are quite a few ways to obtain a Prendre le Vol, just look below.

Flatsales
These operate like your basic flatsales, except that all of these pets are either custom or semi-custom, depending on the state of the lineart and artists.

Prices for flatsales are 20k, but if there is a pre-made set, the price is 15k. Why so steep? All of these pets are fully custom [except for the pre-made], and therefore take an effort to make by the artists. You get to choose everything!

Auctions
These operate like your basic auction, except they might be something special like a bird you wouldn't normally be able to get at a regular flatsale, or a Prendre le Vol drawn by a guest artist.

The price depends on what is being offered, be a custom slot for the guest artist or a strange new bird. Usually the auction prices start at 15k and move from there, depending on bids.

Pet Trades
Rown loves Breedables, and is more than willing to trade a Prendre le Vol for another pet. That doesn't mean, however, that her artists would be willing to draw one just for her sake, so pet trades are kind of rare but probably will happen.

There isn't a set list for pets that the crew wants, so go ahead and message Prendre le Vol with your shop if you'd like to try and get one! Rown is always online and can probably get back to you fairly quickly.

Bribing
What?! You can actually bribe and get a Prendre le Vol? Maybe, maybe not. Most likely not.

I just put this here in order to be funny, but if you really would like to try and bribe for a Prendre le Vol, go ahead! It's always worth a shot.

Bribes

Random Events
Random events are well...random. Usually they are rewards for fulfilling certain things, like reaching a page marker or helping out the staff with something that is hardly possible for any mortal to do. The page marker is easier, really.

These gifts are usually freebie pets and may be custom or semi-custom. However if a page marker is reached on spamming no prize will be given, but something else may be that might help you out in a flatsale or auction.

Event

Event for page 100: All posters on page 100 get....50 brownie points, which are good for at least 5k bonus towards an auction!

Sometimes you can't fully fly all at once, you can't grow you wings. Here at Prendre le Vol we offer a payment plan because of how steep the price is. The plan is different for each person, but below are the rules that they each must follow.

+ 01: All plans require that the full amount of 20k be paid. There are no discount.
+ 02: Without fully paying, the Prendre le Vol will not grow, even if RPed constantly and enough.
+ 03: You are responsible for being honest and paying. If you don't pay honestly, the Prendre will be taken and you will be reported.
+ 04: We [Prendre le Vol] will keep track of how much you owe and will do a biweekly reminder to keep you in the now

Do you have any questions about Prendre le Vol, be it how things are run or about the pets? Feel free to ask and we'll post the question and answer here!

01: How many can a person own?
- At maximum, two. These pets ARE RP intense, so if they aren't RPed they won't grow and may even be taken away.

02: Will these pets die if I don't play?
- They won't die, but they won't be yours after a while either. don't worry, we give fair warning before we take them away.

03: Do you have a payment plan?
- Yes, yes we do. PM Prendre le Vol or Rown [this is the only time you can] about it and we'll talk it over

04: Do these pets breed?
- Um...not yet ninja They might be able to in the future, but for now no breeding. Sorry

05: What do you mean by 'semi-custom' and 'full-custom'?
- Just what it sounds like. Semi-customs are usually sets that have been drawn and coloured by the artist, except they're all the to artist's preferance. There isn't any choice in the matter. Full-customs are full customs, down to everything including pose, colour, size, shape, gender, etc.

06: Can my pet be gay/lesbian?
- Up to you, but know your bounds. Don't be explicit, don't be vulgar.

07: How come some things are not fully set up?
- Because Rown's a flake and a mope. They'll come when they come, don't worry.

Rown - owner, concept maker. Likes to mope. A lot. Can be seen moping around toasters.

Enoh Love - artist, colourist. Is insanity in a jar heart Enoh enjoys Roleplaying, Long walks on the beach and cuddling with Nio. heart She has been known to make people implode, explode, and all around die.

Sora Icefreeze - artist, colourist. Uses the '-' face alot and likes death babies.

Renari - certist, colourist. Kinda lazy, but easily motivated when the whip gets pulled out. Often found lamenting over something, usually at how she's a perfectionist.
