There has obviously been many a dispute between evolutionists and Christians, (more Christian extremists actually) and the sad thing is that whenever a Christian starts a thread explaining how absurd evolution is and how God just haaas to exist, they almost all of the time have not even attempted to do the least bit research on evolution; a task that would take no more than 5 minutes-- not even. So I'm here to set things straight and educate these individuals on what they so readily downsize. This may sound stupid to many, but believe it or not, you people really need to know that evolution is not nearly what you people make it out to be:
Here's a link about evolution:
Understanding Evolution
Most Christian extremists are so ready to insult something (in this case evolution) without even taking the time to look it up themselves. If they did this, they would find that some of the facts on evolution contradict Christianity. Evolution is a system in the DNA of every living thing on the planet, making them able to adapt. Evolution didn't just happen by chance.
Now, here is a question that many have asked me countless times, trying to disprove evolution: "If humans evolved from monkeys, then why do monkeys still exist?" Well the answer is in reality extremely simple. Humans EVOLVED from monkeys, not transform into them. If people researched and realized the true concept of evolution, they would clearly see this. Evolution consists of BRANCHES. Every animal went through these branches. We did not, in fact, "come from monkeys." Everyone seems to observe the picture of a monkey morphing into a human and use this as an invalid argument. People! Did anyone EVER say that this is how evolution happened? (If they did then they too need to research more on the topic) This is just an illustration of what the different stages of humans looked like. Scientists never said anything about that being how evolution happened. Therefore the counterstatement "why do monkeys still exist?" is moot.
Some more evidence on evolution: The skeleton of a whale. Scientists have found the remnants of legs in the skeleton of a whale. They serve absolutely no purpose whatsoever, yet still exist. And yes, this is a proven fact.

So why are they there? Scientists believe that millions of years ago whales had and used legs to roam the land before the oceans were so vast. Then after the oceans became more habitable, the whales ancestors were moved into the sea, where the legs evolved and absorbed into the whales body. But no, I suppose god created this to test our faith didnt he?
Another example is the human appendix. This has no use today, so why is it there? It is had to have had some use for it to be there. Therefore it is the most logical statement to say that at one stage in our evolution, humans probably used it to easily digest rough food.
So as we see here, everything has/had a purpose at a given point in time, and they are physical records that we, as well as every other animal, have not always been the same.
Quote:
Some who support evolution will add on billions of years, and say anything is possible if you have enough TIME. Everything supporting evolution is by CHANCE- such and such just happened to evolve into such and such, such and such just happened to have such and such deformity which helped it in such and such a way.
