Welcome to Essence Kennels' first ever RP Flatsale, and thank you for coming! Below, you will find three very handsome vials all ready for the taking. But, do you have the writing skills to take one of 'em home? We'll just have to see about that, now won't we?

And, what is in these? You might ask. Well, below is the base linearts. These will change quite a bit once your essence is added to each of their test tubes.

The Prompts!

Within your entry post which you will post on this thread, I require that you include the following information. The winners will PM me the extra info later when I ask for it.

You may NOT edit your flatsale entry. You may, however, edit small things such as MS Word's usual error - don?t - to don't and things of that sort. Any major errors must be left as you put it in. Thus, you better spell check and grammar check your entry before entering.

You may format your entry however you like. But. It must include those three things.
You may also interact with the main shop residents- That is... the owner, Kai Rosewolf, and her Essence Fate. For a little bit of background to help with the entry, their personalities can be described in a nutshell. Kai is kind, courteous and helpful. Sympathetic, but formal in times of need, and serious in serious matters. Fate, on the other hand, tends to be grumpy and a touch-me-not, never really willing to help out unless asked first. He believes that he is the best Essence ever made and will openly announce that he is so.

.... Now, onto the prompts!

Prompt 1

You've finally done it. You've managed to get your hands on an essence vial! Taking it home to keep it protected, you carefully set it next to your kitchen sink as you prepare your dinner. Forgetting about everything that had happened that day, you casually begin mixing ingredients. An hour later, you've finished eating. But wait! Where did the essence vial go? It was there by the sink, and now it's gone.

Hey, is that fur/scales growing on the back of your hand? ...

Uh oh.

Prompt 2

You are an Essence (of any species- you choose). You have just emerged from your vial. New to the world, and unsure of your strange surroundings, you find that your keeper seems displeased with how you turned out. He turns without a word, and leaves you in the white room all by yourself. What do you do now?

Yes, there are Rules
-------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Don't make others feel as though their entry is highly superior or highly inferior (or anything inbetween) than others' entries. It's not nice.

2. Don't complain. Nobody wants to hear it.

3. Don't edit your entries. Aside from itty bitty errors. Run any questionable changes by me. I'm always happy to answer questions.

4. Don't advertise in here. That is rude.

5. You may PM questions to me, but it better not be about getting a pet for free, or getting a pet without entering the contest.

6. You must be able to pay for your pet as soon as you win it. Each Essence costs 5,000g. And you may only attempt for ONE per flatsale.

7. Don't harass other people or make them feel like they shouldn't enter. Everyone should have a fair and equal chance.

8. Grammar and spell check everything! I judge based on interesting context, yes, but I also look at spelling, punctuation, grammar, sentence structure... all of it!

9. Have fun. ^_^ (No, there are no tricks hidden in here this time! But, thanks for looking!)
