Rules

- I hate to think I have to mention this (as just about every other drawing-related thread in the website does), but neither your actions in my thread nor your commissions may break the TOS in any fashion.

- Most important rule (to me): DO NOT PM ME. I will completely and utterly ignore any pms I recieve regarding art.

- If we have decided on a price, send me a trade. I will not begin your art until I see that you have the agreed-upon amount.

- I like to ask questions periodically. Stick around in the thread for a few days for my initial questions. Once we've gotten most everything pinned down, you can disappear, and if I have anything I desperately need to ask you, I will PM you.

- If I am drawing your avatar, have a copy of the precise avatar you want that will not change linked to in your order form. I tend to be a bit slow and have had people's avatars change on me mid-drawing before.

- If I am drawing an OC, I need description. Especially of hair. Reference pictures are loved, but if you don't have one that's fine. A damn good description will work.

- Thinking of, you must complete the order form. I will ignore all posts without it.

- I take artistic liberties when not told specifices (hair, poses, attitudes, etc). Be warned.

- I simplify over-complicated avatars. Simplify it yourself to prevent the chance of not having an item drawn that is important to you. (I will warn you of imminent simplification).

In ordering a commission, this is the way you go about it:

- Fill out the form and post it in the thread.
- Debate/questions over the picture/price.
- Start trade with me, to show that you have the amount of gold/items necessary. (Yes, I will take equivalent trade)
- I will start drawing. I tend to scan in halfway points to send to you to show progress and check satisfaction on your part.
- I finish drawing, scan it in, clean it up, stick a huge watermark on it. I then send it to you.
- You say you like it, accept the trade on your side, then I take off the watermark and send the picture to you.
- We're all happy and joyful!

I draw avatar art, OC art, fanart, whatever. Ask and ye might recieve.

For samples in bulk, you may look at my deviantart account, and either of my photobucket accounts: Gaia art or all other works.

Kitties and other creatures

Haven't done any recently, but I could, if you wished, draw your avatar as a kitty.
Other possible animals: Dragons, dogs/wolves, horses. If you wish another animal, you can ask and I could try.

This category also includes animal OCs.

Plushies

Here is where you get custom plushies of your avatar or OC. If you want a plushie done of an anime, manga, book, tv, whatever character, you need to go to my plushie shop. (250 gold for an already available plushie, 500 to commission one that's not yet there.)

Sketches

For the cheap people among you, you can get a base sketch - no color, no inking. (Inking would be a special addition, 'cause I hate it.) Sketching can be rough or a bit smoother. If you don't decide, I do.

Lining

In most cases, I severely disliking outlining (because I always seem to screw it up. ^^" ). If you wish, I will do so.
There's either regular black lines, or I have a set of thin-point Sharpies and can use colors to outline it.

Colors

There's a number of choices. Regular coloured pencils, watercolour pencils, markers (usually with some shading done with coloured pencils), pastels (if you wish, I'm still experimenting with both oil and chalk), or watercolour paints (also experimenting...[Edit:very little skill with it as yet, so I personally wouldn't suggest it. *sheepishgrin*]).

Sizes

This is a new category I'm implementing.
I'm going to try working in half-sizes and such.
Therefore, you can pick from headshot, half-body, 3/4s body or full-body.
Also in this category I will include the information on groups and couples.
The difference between two people and a couple is if you want to have the two drawn just together and being friendly (or not) in the picture or if you want close contact, such as close hugging, cuddling or kissing.

Miscellaneous

If you want to add something to your avatar (a quest item you haven't yet got, things of your own creation that you can find equivalents of on gaia, whatever), I will be happy to add it.
Accessories are actually my favorite thing to draw, along with tattoos, piercings, etc.
I also really like to draw wings of any sort, so I would be happy to add a pair (or two or three) to your picture if you so desire.

Also...backgrounds. I'm not massive good at backgrounds yet, but I could do some basic stuff, if you really wanted it. I've gotten a bit of practice at painting watercolour backgrounds, or if you want some other medium, that's fine as well.

Prices

For a regular style drawing, you add the prices from one from each category, plus 1000 gold base price.
If you have questions about what a picture would add up to, feel free to ask in the thread.
Prices are negotiable, if you think a price to be too high, or if I think it to be too low. These are guidelines, and may be changed on a case-to-case basis.

Sizes:
- Headshot: 500
- Half-body: 750
- 3/4s body: 1000
- Full-body: [Unavailable until I get better at drawing legs. ^^" Sorry.]

- One person: No extra charge.
- Two people: 500
- Three or more: 500 for each additional person.
- A couple [Yaknow, smoochy, kissy, lovey stuffs ^^]: 1000

Completeness: (If you choose colours, AND you want it lined, both selections must be chosen. ie: Coloured with lines (Sharpie or black or whatever)
- Sketch: (rough or smooth) No additional charge.
- Lined: (black or colours) 500
- Coloured: 500

Colours: (in addition to above charge for completenes - coloured)
- Coloured pencil: No extra charge.
- Watercolour pencil: 500
- Markers: 500
- Pastels: 500
- Watercolour paint: N/A [Only for backgrounds, currently.]

For plushies, you get either coloured or not.
- Non-coloured (lineart): 1500
- Coloured: 3000
If there are 2 plushies in the picture, no extra charge. 3 or more adds 750 gold each additional plushie.

For kitties and other animals, we'll determine the price on an individual basis.

Finally, if you would like to be notified in a PM when your artwork is done, or receive WIPs (for multistep arts requiring inking, colouring, backgrounds, etc.), you may ask for it. It's an additional 50 gold for a completion alert, 100 for WIP notices. If you do not wish to pay for this service, you will need to check the thread on a semi-regular basis. Completed art will be found on the front page in link form for 2 weeks after completion. After that point, you will need to PM me for the link.
