I stared nervously at the moving bundle in my arms. I hugged him as if it's my own life and stared at his cute face, a smile apprearing on my lips. Using a finger, I stroked his face and as he held my finger with his whole hand, I made up my mind. "Karimaru. That's going to be your name!" I giggled.
I brought Karimaru home that day, him sleeping peacefully with a soft snore. I walked to my room and put him gently on my bed. However, he chose that time to cry. I jumped at the sudden wail and grabbed a bottle filled with warm milk. Rushing to Karimaru's side, I cooed and gave him the milk bottle.
He grabbed the bottle and began sucking it, his eyes shining, he seemed to be saying thank you.
"You're welcome." I whispered, craddling him in my arms.
I took the bottle out of his mouth after he's finished, and put him back on my bed. His eyes stared into mine and I decided to teach him a few words.
"Say Dragain... Dra-gain." I said slowly. Karimaru just stared at me, his big eyes blinking. I sighed and carried him up, afraid to leave him alone in my room.
"Dra." Karimaru seemed to say as I carried him out. "Dra." He repeated again, giggling. I was surprised but happy, and tickled him, making him squeel and squim with delight.
