So, should we stay a thread, or upgrade ourselves to a guild?

Welcome to the Jhonen Vasquez Bar! Version 2.0
Est. Feb. 2004.
Located in Durem.

Hello and welcome to the Jhonen Vasquez bar! This place is... ancient. It's seen its shares of ups and downs, the worst being the loss of a whole 500 pages. ;__; (Due to that fact, I can no longer update the poll or title. emo )

No matter how slow it gets sometimes, we're determined to stick it out. We've had regs come and go, but the faces you're sure to see here are Enasni, Vesslia and Ukiki Jr. biggrin If no one's around just leave a message and check back later. ^_^
For the layout of the bar read the first post story. ^_^
It doesn't matter if you're not sure who Jhonen is, 95% of the time we don't even talk about his works, we just hang out and have fun.

Rules:
1. No insulting the 'employees' or other visitors of the bar
2. No cybering.
3. No destroying the bar or the things in it.

But these days, it's mostly Enasni (that's me) puttering around and talking to herself in the bar. I might get around to updating the front page for my own sake one of these days. REMODELING.
It's a chilly fall night in Durem, you shiver and pull your jacket tighter around you. You don't know where you're going, but you're searching for a place to warm up.
As you walk down the deserted street you see loads of shops and inns, but most are closed. You come to a fork in the road and pause for a minute, trying to decide which way to go. Deciding to go to the left, you shove your hands in your pockets and trudge on, eyes to the ground. In the distance you see a few houses here and there, but all of the windows are dark, no visitors welcome at this hour.
The farther you walk, the scarcer the houses get. You think of turning back, but you pick up the faint noise of laughter in the distance. You pause and look down a small road to your left. Is that a light you see? You turn towards it, curious and hopeful. As you grow closer the bursts of laughter and music grows stronger. You keep your eyes trained for sight of anything, and then you see it.
A huge rundown mansion, complete with looming turrets and a few boarded up windows. 'How could laughter be coming from such a place?' you wonder to yourself. Determing to find out, you walk up to the broken iron fence around the enormous front yard of the mansion. You push open the gate, hoping it won't squeak and slowly make your way to one of the windows. You peer inside the window and can't believe your eyes. It's beautiful inside.
To one side you see a large dance floor, with a huge stereo system and a disco ball. You wonder amusingly if the floor lights up. Where the dance floor ends, there is a couch and a few bean bag chairs facing a Big-screen television. Lined along the top and bottom of the tv is every video game system you've heard of. Against the wall there is a huge shelf of movies and DVDs that stretches to the ceiling. Against the back wall there is a massive winding stone staircase that leads to a large wooden balcony. Along the balcony there are a few strangely patterned doors, you can swear you see some of them moving.
Beneath the balcony theres an arcade with a few games you can't make out due to your distance. A short distance away from the arcade theres a large bar, with many barstools, and a handful tables around it. To either side of the bar there are two doors. Near the back corner there is a small indoor pool that looks like it's emitting a purple mist. Behind the pool you see a rotating door leading to what you assume is the backyard.
It's what's opposite the dance floor that catches draws your attention. You see a large ornately decorated fireplace that you're certain you could fit a short bus in if it weren't for the blazing fire within it. There are two large sofas and a love seat around the fire, the sofas facing each other and between them there is a wide coffee table. What's on the sofas makes you smile. Theres a group of people, all laughing and looking happy together near the fire. A few have slurpee-like drinks, and others have bowls of candy.
You laugh out loud as you see a girl with bright green hair tackle another girl with deep purple hair off of a couch and onto the floor. You gasp and hope they haven't heard you, but you know they have. A guy with a chefs hat on looks suspiciously the window you're watching from, but the girls speed to the window laughing. Before you can run they're opposite you, giving you broad smiles.
"Ello! I'm Enasni, and this is Vesslia." The purple haired girl says and points to her companion. You weakly smile back and ask what you've been wondering the whole time. "What is this place?" They smile even bigger and run out of sight. The next thing you know you're being dragged through a door and to the couches inside.
"This is the Jhonen Vasquez Bar. Dedicated to him, but not limited to talking about him." Vesslia says to you and offers you some candy. You accept and cast a nervous glance to the guy sitting on the loveseat, he hasn't said anything yet, and he looks well... as if he'd love to blow something up.
Enasni laughs and throws a pillow at him. "Don't worry about this nutjob. His name is Indel, he's our chef and cheif insane guy." You smile to all of them and lean back on the couch. They all start joking around and laughing again, and this time you join in. You sigh happily and think to yourself, 'I've found a place I can call home.'
