There are currently three races in and Alwyn world, and each has its own role to play. These races are the Nanashi and their two cousins; the Daisuru (Angelic) and the Akan (Demonic). There are a total of six clans these races can be divided into; each containing different traits and more specific roles.
The magic of an Alwyn citizen resides in their ring; the only time a Nanashi will part from their ring is when they exchange it with their loves: this is a marriage ritual to bind themselves together.
1. The Clans
Archeo Guards:
This clan is devoted to keeping rule and peace among the world of Alwyn. This is the highest of the Daisuru clans and can be quite hard to receive entry into. The higher ranks of this clan can be reached by the Daisuru while the Nanashi can only manage to the middle ranks; unless they prove themselves worthy with heroism. There is sometimes a place for the Akan in this clan.
Traits: Protection of others, Justice, equality. ect
Ranks: Scout, Scribe, Crystal Guard, Caster, Archeo.
Leader: Serafina
Geist Sueno:
The leader of this clan, once a devoted Archeo Scribe came to the belief that fixing the land is more important then fixing the inhabitants. This clan is devoted to reviving nature both with magic and physical labour. This clan is easier to access then the Archeo Guards and ranks are open to everyone but the Akan.
Traits: Gardening, husbandry, water purification. Ect.
Ranks: The Sueno, Rule Geists, Prime Geist.
Leader: Kendra
The Common:
This is less of a clan and more of a world registry. This sector is run by the "Ring Barer" who likes to keep track of his people. Every Nanashi when born becomes a part of The Common, to leave it they must become solitary beings or join another clan.
Traits: Citizenship.
Ranks: Citizenship, Ring Midwife, Ring Barer

The Mystic:
This clan is completely devoted to fun; it is often joined to acquire professions such as minstrel, street musician, comedian... ect. Though the members of this clan may care about their world they would rather leave the work to others and simply have fun.
Traits: Fun loving
Ranks: Profession choice, Prime Mysitc
Clan Daeva:
This clan consist of the common thugs and criminals, as well as the small sinners and party goers. They don't do much for the community and tend to disrupt the work of the Archeo. This clan is open to everyone but the Daisuru.
Traits: cold, crime
Rank: Commoner, The Baren
Fury Fortis:
This clan is nothing but nasty. They could be considered the opposite of the Archeo and are simply plain, cruel, cold people. They hang out in all the right dark places.
Traits: Mean personality.
Ranks: Grub, Slug, alright, meanie, Fury, Shiba.
Note: More clans may arise in the future.
2. Power Levels
On the card of your pet you may notice a power level. This comes into play in magic use and breeding. Their level of power is the strength and density of their magic. When someone is born into the Alwyn world the Ring Barer and Midwives take power levels from both of the parent's rings, instilling them in the ring of the new baby. When a parent breeds, their power level goes down. If an Alwyn citizen reaches a power level of zero, they will die.
Average Power Levels:
Baby: total amount given by parents
Teen: Nanashi - baby level + 1 Daisuru - baby level + 2 Akan - baby level +2
Adult: Nanashi - teen level + 5 Daisuru - teen level + 7 Akan - teen level +7

3. Power levels and breeding
It is up to the owner how many power levels they wish to place in a baby when breeding. The Nanashi normally keep small families, because the larger the family, the less power levels the parents have put into each child. A next generation can be stronger or weaker depending on the owner's decision; a parent can even transfer all their power levels over to one child with the exception of one so that they may live.
5. Growth
A baby takes two weeks to become a teen, a teen takes one month to become an adult. An adult must be one week old before breeding.
