Welcome to Shaman's Tale. Here you will find young orphans who can breach the distance between the spirit world and our own and communicate with the spirits around us with their mystical powers.

Oh and this gentalman to the left is the Shop/Island's guardian, Zai. He was the first Shaman to ever be adopted by an outsider and is a high ranking Shaman who has control of spirits of iec. My sugestion is that you don't get him made.

Ok Aya is back and i am working on growings for all Shaman. so please bear with me a little longer.

For those who have shaman colored by brokenraven, she will be working on their growings but she wont be able to till after shes done with APs.

Long ago, while sailing one day in search of a new home, a small family of shamans came across a large island hidden in a cloud of mist. The family had come this way before, but had never seen the island before. Curious, they anchored their ship in a large bay, and took a row boat to shore. As they drew closer to the shore, all of them could since the strong presence of spirits, and it amazed them.

As they stepped out onto the golden sand of the beach, the older members of the family began seeing many spirits wandering the isle. What surprised them was the fact that the spirits were not just that of animals but of humans from different cultures of the world.

As they made their way deeper into the island, they noticed that none of the spirits seemed to want to harm them; instead, some were following, curious about these newcomers.

After a few days of searching the island and finding no other living humans, the family decided to stay and live on the island. It was then they decided to make the island a sanctuary for all shamans to learn and grow.

Centuries later, the population of living humans on the island, now known as Tamashii Island, had grown. Many shaman clans had formed on Tamashii. All of the clans got along pretty well-- to the extent that there were few battles and disputes. From time to time, even humans without the Shamanic abilities appeared for bits of time.

But this could not last... one day a plague swept the land, affecting mainly the adults. Within days most of the adults were dead, leaving hundreds of children and babies orphaned. What few adults were left now had to find a way to raise all of the orphans. After a few days of thinking and debating, they decided to allow the non-shamans who were frequent visitors to Tamashii adopt and help raise the orphans....

Baby
As a baby, your shaman needs much love and care-- after all, they're babies. Babies need to be taken care of, like any other human baby. At this stage your baby shaman can only sense the spirits around him or her.
The Baby stage lasts from 1-3 weeks depending on how much your shaman is RPed.

Child
Now that your young shaman is now a child, he/she can start to somewhat manifest his/her guardian spirits and is now able to communicate with spirits. At this stage, your young shaman is curious about the would around him/her and is eager to learn both about the world and his/her shaman abilities. It is at this stage that they start to learn about the shaman community and the Spirit world. It is in this stage that is decided if your shaman will be a sprit medium or a healer.
Child stage last 3 to 5 weeks depending on how much he or she is RPed.

Teen
Now that your Shaman is a teen, he or she will start performing his or her shaman duties and start to deal more with the others of his or her clan. At this stage, your shaman will further his/her training as a shaman and master his/her skills, in hope that one day he or she will become a clan leader/priest. At this stage, your shaman can fall in love-- even marry and have children with another shaman. Your Shaman's animal spirit guide has also now taken shape and your shaman can use all of its strength to help him/her when needed.
Teen stage lasts forever, unless you are an avid RPer. If you are, then your shaman may grow into an adult clan leader/priest.

Adult/Elder
Fully grown adult Shamans are very rare. Those that do make it to this level are rewarded with titles of Clan leader or Priest/Priestess.
This is the final form for your shaman.

General Rules
1. NO STEALING ART! This is unforgivable and will get you black listed.
2. No Fighting. This makes Aya mad, so don't do it.
3. If there are none for sale there are non for sale, don't ask.
4. No PMing Aya, or any other members of the staff. If you have a question, post it in the thread, or PM the shop mule.
5. Keep conversations and RP PG-13.
6. Fallow all of Gaia's rules. Come on we are on Gaia aren't we?
7. Keep all drama to PMs, I don't want to here it, nor dose the staff and other owners and lurkers.
8. NO RPING IN THE SHOP. Keep RP in the RP thread and Journals.

Rules of Ownership
1. RP is not required, BUT it is preferred that you do, Only through RPing will your shaman(s) grow into adult and/or gain a spirit guardian.
2. You may only own 4 Shamans, this way all of your Shamans get RPed.
3. No God Modding. Shamans are not gods and nor are they all powerful.
4. No killing your shaman or anyone else's.
5. No Co-owning... This is too much of a pain.....

Flatsale Rules
1. You may only purchase one shaman from a Flatsale.
2. Flatsales are first come first serve.
3. Don't whine if you don't get the one you wanted.
4. Wait till Aya, Ana, or the shop Mule post go before requesting.
5. When requesting, please use the order form.

Auction Rules
1. No sniping. No new bidders will be accepted 15 mins before the auction ends.
2. No discouraging others from bidding.
3. You can only win one Shaman from an auction if there is more than one up.
4. Only donation Items and letters are accepted. Sealeds are valued at 5k and all other items and letters are valued at mid E.V.I.L. price.

2. Do they require RP?
- - - No, But it is preferred that you do.
3. Can I resell my Shaman if I no longer want him/her or don't have time for them anymore?
4. No, if you don't want your Shaman anymore or don't have time for them PM the shop mule and let us know and we will find him a new home. But no matter what you will not get a refund.

Customs

Ok I'd perfer customs be kept to the min. with this shop. Meaning price shale be a little high and limited. And for the record getting customs DO NOT gurentie you to a adult. All custom shaman will be like normal ones, you have to earn the adult stage and spirit gaurdians.

How To Order:
1. Check to see if the colorist you whish to do your custom has a slot open.
2. Post in the thread that you wish to claim a custom slot, be sure to post if it is a Cosplay or normal slot.
3. Wait for confrimation.
4. Send the colorist with the correct and compleated orderform through PM
5. Send trade.
6. wait for your custom to be finished.

One of the main reasons for prices being so high is due to the fact all customs have a chance to reach the adult stage and get a spirit gaurdian through RP, also there is a lot of work put into the growing shaman.

Once your Shaman has reached his/her teen stage of life, he/she is able to find a mate and have children with that mate.

Please note that Shaman mate for life and can only breed 2 times. Also note that the two Shaman who wish to mate must be RPed as mates for AT LEAST two weeks. In breedings, the Female shaman will give birth to 2-4 babies. If there are any babies that you do not whish to keep you may give them to friends or put them up for auction.

All RP threads and Journals are located in the Guild, and that is where all RPs should take place. Also, be sure to read all the rules in the RP thread. You MAY make personal RP threads.

Also, the more you RP the more likely your shaman will gain his/her own spirit guardian and grow into an adult.

Spirit Guardians only appear to certain Shaman, and the form they take depends all on the Shaman. These spirits can be in the form of human or animal.

[Role Play Guild]

As stated before those shaman that are RP a lot will gain a spirit Guardian that will be with them for the rest of their life. These spirits can be human, animal, or mystical spirits. So what do you do with a spirit if one appears with you young shaman? Well once your shaman receives a guardian spirit you?ll need to fallow these guide to be able to RP with it.

These steps MUST be fallowed in order BEFORE you may start to RP with him/her with your shaman.
1. Choose a name for the spirit.
2. You now need to make up a back round for the spirit and how the spirit and your shaman meet.
3. Once you get this post the back round story and how the spirit and the shaman meet it in your shaman?s journal
4. After and ONLY after you post PM AyaCamui with the name for the spirit and let her know that you have posted the required info in your shaman?s journal.
5. Wait for Aya to confirm with you that she has read the above info and has updated your shaman?s tag.
6. Your now able to RP with the spirit with your shaman in the main RP thread, and else where.

Owners Only RP Event!

RP Prompt
Late one night you decide to go explore the forest. As you go deeper into the forest you notice fog forming around you making it hard to find the way you came to leave. After several minutes of trying to find your way out you notice a small opening in the fog, as you move through the peculiar opening you notice that the fog seals off the entrance but starts form walls around you making a long narrow path.
Curiously you fallow the path that the fog has formed, taken not of the fog closing in behind you as you walk. After walking for 20mins you see an large opening not far ahead. Going though it you find yourself in an unknown clearing that seem to be glowing a pale red. Looking up you notice that the red glow is coming from the full moon hanging in the sky that is blood red.
Bring you attention back to the clearing, you notice a shadowy figure standing in the center, glaring at you.
“You must be a shaman, if you have came to this place,” the figure says in a stern, yet amused voice. “Well then, I wont waste you time with meaningless talk.. This clearing is a entrance to the spirit world. Both spirits of good and evil gather here.” He explains to you, then grins, “I am here to test those shaman you come here. If I deem them worthy I can reward them with tools that could one day help them,” he laughed “and just maybe one of those whom I test will be able to take me as their guardian…” he paused smiling evilly. “But so far none have been able to impress me that much.”
“The test that I am to give you, is that you must tell me my name and what I did that got me killed.” He laughed again. “I will answer only 5 questions, but I may or may not tell the truth or the whole thing. I don’t plain on making this easy for anyone. Also you will only have one guess, no more no less.”

How to participate in this event.
Please Post in this thread saying you want to participate and which of your shaman you are using (Note you only have 3 days to sign up). After you have done this Please post in your shaman’s journal that you are using in this event, the start of you reply to the prompt. You do not have to ask all of you 5 questions at once, the spirit will answer the questions himself after you post them. After he replies you can post more, after he has answered you shaman’s 5 questions he wont respond until you’ve made a guess on what His name is and why he was killed. At the end of the event he will post in both the shaman’s journal and in the main thread who he has chosen to be the spirit guardian of. All who participate will get one of two secret items.

Starts: Now!
Ends: When all who’ve entered have made their guess. And the spirit announces who he has chosen.

Please note that Aya works 5-6 days a week and most of which are night shifts. So she will check for entries when she gets off and in what little free time she has. (hint tomorrow evening, Sunday during the day will be good times to post your 1st entries. I‘ll post times for next week on Sunday.)
