WELCOME TO POKEMORPH ISLAND

The year is 2032.

Through years of experimentation and research, the scientists of Team Rocket have combined the genetic codes of human and Pokemon. Emerging from the unnatural union is a new race, Pokemorphs, possessing traits from both worlds, but belonging in neither.

However, Team Rocket had not the resources to control a vast number of these creations for long, and now, many Pokemorphs have been freed, and now, their own civilization has been born on a small island far north in the oceans. These Pokemorphs wish nothing more than to live in peace, though Team Rocket, and the Pokemorphs still loyal to them, work to reclaim the creations lost to them, while other forces wish to harness their power.

Thus is the world of Pokemorphs. (-this was from Pokemorph.com, not written by me)

Please do not god mod or be all powerful or anything like that. You can be human or pokemon as well, but Pokemorphs are prefered. The setting starts in a forest and can move on from there. Your pokemorph can be any pokemon, but please refrain from being legendary ones. There will only be one of each, and if you want to try for a spot, please post that you would and also show a sample of your rping skills. Legendary birds and dogs don't need as much rp skill to be played as the others.

For those of you who have never been in one of these rps before, there can be 'black/dark' and 'shiny' (oddly colored, but it has to be the one from the game, you can't just make up a color for a pokemon) characters. Freeborns are morphs that have been born, not created in a lab. Also, please note some morphs are still loyal to Team Rocket.

Flare- Charmeleon pokemorph captive Shadow let escape from the Rocket's Base. He was his only friend, and claimed they had been friends before they were morphed. Shadow doesn't know whether to believe him or not, but he lets Flare escape, loosing many meals as punishment for it. First seen: pg1

Agent Lindsay- A high ranking jolteon pokemorph rocket agent with a vicious attitude and a mysterious hatred for Shadow. Updates:

June 5, 2006 ~ It seems many of us still want to keep this rp going, and to get the guild more active. We plan to continue where we left off, and hopefully I'll be able to finish setting up the guild. heart Thank you all for your time, patience, and most of all your determination to keep going and loyalty to this thread. It's not fun without all of you.

UPDATE: We now have enough gold thanks to all your gracious donations! Now, to think of a guild name...any ideas? Or simply, Pokemorph Rp Guild? Pokemorph Island?

Attention: I am seriously considering saving up for the guild now as all of you have been working very hard and I think we could manage a lot better with an RP Guild. It could be a lot of fun for us. While I have noticed on the poll most of you would like to know what we could do with a guild, we could have a character data thread, with files on all of our characters. We could have separate threads for each of our own characters, just for them, their stories, their own personal histories, etc. Anything you want to put in there. Of course we would do rp threads, private, for certain characters, and for everyone to join. And there could also be art threads, where we could show off art and do art of each other's characters for fun, as well as banners or IDs. And in this way, we could get other people to join and rp with us. Thank you all for being so devoted to this thread! I really appreciate all you have put into this story!

Shadow drifted down the dark halls of the Rocket's base, partly wandering, and partly because he was on duty. He found it dull when no one was around to play tricks on. He supposed it wouldn't mater, because they'd be able to see through his illusions before he'd have a chance to conjure up anything really scary. He'd been here so long that everyone already knew about the mischeif he caused. Some found it annoying while others feared him. He liked being feared.

"No, you don't so they leave you to lurk about the halls so intruders think it's haunted. I pity anyone who has to lay their eyes on your face. Its as horrible as it is frightening. You could break a mirror with it," shot flare. He knew Shadow was sensitive about being a pokemorph. And a ghost one.

But Shadow just shook his head and smirked. "Mmm mm mm! Can't get away that easily. I'm the trickster, the slick, back-talker, remember? You're just the prisioner, the slave whom I have to keep in line."

"But Shadow, we used to be friends before this. Why the change of heart? Aren't you as sick of these Rockets as the others captive here? They were the ones that changed us. That abducted us and made us this way. And you become their ally! You're the one who's being their slave, their puppet, not us. We're still fighting to be free." His eyes sofened as he spoke.

Shadow remained unmoved. He was silent. Then, slowly, Flare slipped through his fist and was back on the ground. Shadow had made his hand transparent.

"Thanks, Shadow."

Appearence: Mew form: The White one.
Human form: Just with the ears and tail like in Mew form.
History: Somehow, some scientists were able to capture a Mew and take it back to their lab, where they proceeded to combine its genes with a human... thusly creating Mew Girl, the first ever Mew/Human hybrid. Nothing about this girl made her drastically different than any other girl, just the fact that she had a few physical attributes of the Mew and was capable of using its powers and learning even more. Seeing that their 'test' was successful, the scientists planned on just trapping the young girl in a cage and keeping her there... that is, if it wasn't for another scientist taking her in as a daughter. Before giving her to be the scientist's daughter, the others took some genes from her in her Mew form and created a Mewtwo from them, thus giving the little hybrid a son. As she grew, her adoptive parents noticed how she was like any normal girl, but was much keener on taking orders like any caught Pokemon would. They figured there would possibly a time where a trainer would want to catch her and wondered what her deposition would be about being in a ball, but ruled against tossing a Master Ball to test it out, just figuring that she would be claustrophobic of the ball because of the wild genetics of the Mew. At the right age, her parents finally let her go off on her own; telling her that she only had to get a trainer if she really chose to. She decided to get one, proving that the Pokemon traits aren't mainly dominant in her, so she got a Master Ball from her parents and a collar and attached it to her neck, floating off away from her home. Mostly floating around in her Mew form, she searched worldwide for a 'perfect' trainer. Just like the original Mew, she seemed to seek out the ones that had the biggest desire to see her or the one's with the purest hearts, in hopes that they would be good trainers for her... her dismay, none of them wanted to actually catch her, them being happy to just see her in person, saying often, "I can't confine such a rare thing to a simple ball."With that, her search continued...
