The weekly painting:
"View to the Mediterranean"

The subject matter and the medium is agreeable, but the colors are too loud. The flowers especially draw attention from the rest of the painting, too much red. The flowers seem to take away from the view of the ocean. Though the ocean and dock are very peaceful, the picture is "busy," being crowded with boats, trees, flowers, the city in the background, etc. It is too much to fit into one painting. The technique is very good and the painter is very talented, but I just do not enjoy this particular painting.

Welcome! And thank you for your comment! I do like this painting, and I do agree that it seems "loud". Maybe that is one of the reasons I like it... I do like the bright colors too. It defently makes me think of summer. I guess my tastes are different cause all of what you said was true. Just tell me if you want to order anything and have a great day!
*starts wiping off the counter and sweeping the floor*
*sits down behind the counter and starts reading 46 Pages* .... Dang this summer assignment!

Isolde is glad to have somewhere peaceful and warm to get a drink. She sits at the bar, after studying the painting and commenting on it to the owner. She peels her cloak off, revealing a simple white and silver gown. The dress shows off her protruding stomach; the woman is quite pregnant.

She is an extremely beautiful woman. She is a creature of Demon and Elven blood. A mass of thick midnight curls fall around her shoulders and to her waist, tiny silver bells woven into her hair. She scans the bar, a faint silver glint surfacing in her deep violet eyes. Her eyes stand out greatly against her dark russet skin. She smiles (showing off a pair of large fangs) at the man that has kindly welcomed her.

"May I get a strawberry milkshake, my dear?" her voice very smooth, almost like music
*walks in*um....hello

Sure. No problem!

*startes blender and adds all the ingredients, pours the finished shake in a cup and hands it to her*

There you go... If you don't mind me asking, when are you due for your baby?

"Ah, thank you, hon." she pauses, "About a month."

She begins to rub her swollen tummy, a smile pulling at her lips. She takes the time to really study the interior of the building, finding it quite welcoming. She leans back in her chair, listening to the noise around her. She wraps her long chocolate finger about the glass, taking a long sip.

"Perfect..."
