Welcome to Gaia! ::

I love them! They're a fairly new band, they got together October-ish of last year. I think they're getting decent exposure with all the Anime Cons and concerts they're performing. So what do you think of Phanta?
Oh yeah, I love Phanta. They have awesome music. 3nodding Loving their sense of style, too.

Is anyone from the New Jersey/New York area planning to go? gonk

Shapeshifter

They were a lackluster performance, relying on standard visual kei tactics. Nothing original about them, and nothing about their performance screamed out that they were worth following.

Kisaki really ought to stick to his word and make this the last band he's in. gonk He's like a parasite that just doesn't die.

They're also responsible for penning one of the most irritating songs I have had to stand through in a live. I would have walked out except they were the first band. Thank god I had metronome and lab. to look forward to that night.
Phantasmagoria... heh... lessee... I have an on/off obsession with them. Right now they're just meh, but before I was rather obsessed. They amuse me, definitely. I got like, six songs by them, I believe. Pixy False and Moonlight Revival are probably my favorites, but Never Rebellion is pretty good too. Just got that one, so I haven't listened to it much. Anyhow, I've seen videos of Pixy False live or something, and well, that scared me. Not in a good way... >.< Moonlight Revival has no actual singing in it, but that's part of what makes it awesome. *shrugs* I dunno, I have strange tastes in music. But I won't claim to like a band just cuz they're pretty or something. If the music's not that good, I'll just look at them, not listen... hehe

yeah, I'm done now... >.<

Oni-Con is in Houston, Texas. I think you're talking about AnimeNext, which is New Jersey. They're not going to be performing there though. sad

I haven't really listened to any of the albums of theirs that I have. I think they're one of those bands I'd have to go see live in order to start to like them.

I know where Oni-Con is... I just wanna know if anyone else from this area was going to see them. Er, at least I'll try to make an effort, although it'll be a very expensive effort. I missed D-Ray and there is no way that I can miss these guys crying BUt you know.... they might be cancelled >.> I'm hoping for that so that I don't feel so bad if I'm not able to see them. Who knows? This is all 5 months in advance... Jinx biggrin

From the lives that I've seen from my Kansai Seiatsu DVD, they do know how to rock at the lives... and almost everyone that have actually seen them in person seem to say so too. I just need to see them in person before I die. And if I could, I definately would rock it as hard as I could there. But why Texas? I hate you JhouseRock crying
Phantasmagoria is a really cool word.

I didn't know there was a band? Or did I just forget? I'll check out their music sometime though. ninja
I heard about Phantasmagoria through the Japanese JRock Magazine Cure I have only listend to one of their songs but I love them already!! xp
