Collectives?

What is a collective? Well, it's a place where a group of users get together and submit items based on a specific theme. One person [that would be me] is the manager, and handles all of the orders and trades. Depending on how long the collective is, I will add up orders and calculate payments to the artists either at the end of the collective [short collectives] or at various intervals during the collective [long ones] The collective is not about profit. It's about FUN and getting together and working with lots of other artists biggrin So if all you want is profits, the door is that way *points*

The first collective was plotted in September of 03, and opened on October 1st 2003.. the original Halloween Bizarre Baazar! Yes, we had so much fun with naming that one heart It ran the entire month of October, and saw many, many pages. Unfortunately it's been lost crying Gaia ate it. It suffered through a rollback and saw my first item update - the Halloween costumes [and fairy wings!]

Planning/Submission Rules
Submitted items? Don't see them on the page/your name on there? Please post and "gently" remind Mau, as she is sometimes very much an airhead :p

Artists Rules
1. All items *must* be submitted by the deadline, or you must have contacted me. No if's, ands, or buts.. This was decided when the HBB grew rapidly in artists as the collective went on.
-Deadline: tentatively 11:59pm, September 29th.
2. All items will be sold exclusively in the Collective for the duration of the collective. They may not be sold in your own shop, until the collective is closed. Competition = bad.
3. All submissions must be in .gif, .jpg, or .png format. Please don't send my bitmaps unless you absolutely have to [ie, have no editing program other than MSPaint]
4. All artists will receive a 50% discount when purchasing items. (as decided by the original artists of the HBB)
5. I keep track of every trade in writing [my little notebook is filled with scribblings] and at the end of the collective I add everything up, subtract 10% [my share], then divide the leftover amount by the number of artists (if you placed an order and wanted it taken out of your share, then I'll subtract those people's order and divide by the remaining artists] XD
6. In accordance with #4.. EVERY artist will get a share, the SAME amount, regardless of how well or how badly their item sold. That's the point of a collective - to share the fun and profit with others.. not for Mau to do all the work and give you all of your individual profits [mau would scream]

Ordering Rules
1 - Post your order. Do not PM it, or it will be deleted and ignored.
2 - Don't flip out about your name not being in the pending section. If you posted your order and followed the rules, your order *will* be filled.
3 - Please.. don't bother me if I take more than a day to send your order sweatdrop Because that stresses me out and makes this less fun, which makes me not want to do it anymore neutral
4 - Be polite and respectful to everyone. Especially the artists, myself, and Nokomis Midnight. Most of the artists in this Collective have been around for a year with me and know what's going on and, well, they know me. So, listen to them.
5 - The collective now has a "greylist" - people who have annoyed, spammed, etc. Nokomis will be in charge of this.
6 - DO... NOT.. SPAM.. BUMP. <-- repeated a million times x1.
7 - Nokomis does not send out orders. So don't bug her about them. Neither do the artists (all artists please send all orders through ME so I know who needs their order)
8 - And last, do not PM Mau, Nokomis, or any of the artists.

Artists receive a 50% discount ^^
