Welcome to Czykieta's Insanity, the little cranny I've buried into in the World of Gaia.
I've had Czykieta's Insanity long than I can remember. Originally only selling Hogwarts house shields & wish-list I soon started making avatar edits & they began to take over so I moved to a new thread for more room. During the Migration of the forum code I was unable to edit my shop so I moved yet again to this thread, a move that was only meant to be temporary, but I took root & the weed killer isn't working.

I've added a long over due faerie, the Earth Faerie. I've also added some new wings & a Monthly Limited. As it's half way through September I've extended it's lower price availability up till November 1st were it'll go up to a higher price.

I have decided to do a auction. Why? I have yet to decide. What for? The above image.

The winner will get a fully customised picture of the above image. There will only be 2 of this image around, My version & the auction winners version. If you’re not sure what I mean click here for examples of customised ones I’ve done.

The winner can change everything in the image except the original pose & the movement of the hair. You can have a complete original scheme or if you like one I’ve already done, you can work up from that. It can be as normal or weird as you want.

Please post your offer clearly in a message on this thread, I will NOT take any private bids via pms.
If you don’t win, you can’t bribe me to try & buy one. Not even cookies will work.
The end date is the end date and that is final.

But when I do reopen this section it will basically be on a "if I feel like it" system. If you give me that I like I'll make it, if I don't like it I won't. Simple as that. Also I'll only take new customs one at a time & if I've got the time too.
But feel free to keep hinting at ideas, you never know I might like it & it might end up as a pre-made edit & only cost you 300g. woohoo!

Cost: Min of 500g -2000g

Ok they're expensive but they're one offs & I do put more effort into em than the premeds. But! I do reserve the rights to modify the finished design (minus you avatar character) & later sell of the design as a pre-made design at a later date if I do decided to. The price varies on how much work & detail is in it & if you want a custom pose as well expect a least 500g slapped on the price.

Examples:

500g-800g
This are usually simple & quick-ish edits. Normally just clothing & simple hair. Not much fine details.

Includes skins, tattoos & some fine details. Simple add on's like wings, horns, tails & claws come into to this price range.

This price bracket includes a lot more fine details, work & simple custom poses. It will also get you a base of a gaia you. Give me a photo of you & I'll Gaia you.

You can have as many items on you wish-list as you want, but for every extra item after the first ten items (1st ten are free) will cost 5 g per extra item. Your finished item will be a lot better quality & saved as a jpg file. I've reduced the quality of my sample items for faster loading time in my shop. A: No. An edit is a picture that can be posted or put in your sig that usually resembles you avatar in some way.

A: stare I give out many little freebie bits & pieces & also have a free edit thread so go there & don't beg.

Q: Is there a specific place you go to make your avatar edits?
A: Yes, I must head to the kitchen where my PC lives as well as being very close to a kettle & a never ending source of caffeine. Sorry, temptation. No, there isn't some place somewhere out on the internet where you go to make em, at least as far as I know.

Q: How do you make Avatar Edits?
A: I feed gremlins cookies after midnight & they just sprout out of their fur. Triple chocolate with strawberry icing works best. I used to use both MS Paint & MicroGrafx Picture Published but since MS Paint died, I now just used MicroGrafx PP which is fast & lord knows why I didn't just use it before.
Usually (but not always) they start out as a sketch that I have the compulsion to draw at some obscure time in the morning. Next I convert it into an avatar sized template by using a plain avatar base & using layers to build up the design. After trial & error I'd advise everyone to use layers (if you can) just because it's easier. I never used to to and a major change took around 2 hours work to do it. The first time you use layers it's a major pain, but once you've-figured the easiest way for you to do it (everyone has their own way of working) it's an absolute god send.
