I run the *No Name* Charity, and one day I just felt like making this thread. One or more Gaians can win a FREE Sealed Letter. But- only if I feel they deserve it. See the Rules Post for information about entering!

You are NOT guaranteed a letter. You are entering for a chance to win a letter. Please do not complain about not recieving a letter! You will be put on the blacklist.

Why didn't I get chosen for a letter?
As I said before you are not guaranteed a letter. I will pick out one deserving Gaian or Gaians and he/she/they will recieve a letter. It is a very hard decision. Just because you didn't get one doesn't mean that you aren't deserving.

First of all use proper grammar in this thread. No I cannot just give you a letter because you ask for it. That would make it to the deserving Gaians who actually entered for a letter. And no begging either...

I'm poor and I want letters! Then I can sell them and make $$$!
Please don't enter if you have barely any posts to your name. I'll still accept the entry but it would reduce your chances slightly. Also I want you to KEEP the letter. There is no way that I can stop you from selling it but it makes me feel like I wasted time if I give a Gaian something and they sell it as soon as they get it!

Yes that is fine. I don't really care what your posts have in them as long as it follows the rules of this charity and/or the Gaia rules. I will rarely check your posts unless I recieved a complaint about them. Of course you are welcome to bump this thread! ^^

Can I buy a letter from you?
Maybe. I'm thinking of making a membership only section where you can buy letters for cheaper prices. It would probably work like this...
1. Become a member.
2. If your name is on the list you can reserve a letter for <insert price here>
3. You would then get put on the reserved letters list. Limited amount of them on at a time.
4. IF I have enough letters then I will sell them as long as I have enough to give away.
5. Send Trade if your name is on the Send Trades list.

Could I borrow a letter from you? I promise I'll return it! Please?
First of all why would you borrow a letter when you can't even use it?! I lend things to my friends who I know personally mostly and who I can really trust.

Can I make a donation?
Of course! All donations are loved though not expected. Though they do help. If there isn't enough gold then this thread can't run. Occasionally I do believe that I will have to close the charity to get more gold so that I can buy the next Sealed Letter.

How much are you buying Sealed Letters for?
4k or less, which I find very reasonable. Please do not complain that it is too cheap because to me it isn't but it's your choice to sell or not.

How about 6k? I'll sell you my letter for no less than that!
No thanks, that is way to high for a Sealed Letter to me.

What if the winner is banned/suspended?
Well if that person doesn't confirm the trade in time then they won't recieve it. If you have a temporary ban please PM me with a mule or through a friend's account and I will hold it until the ban is over (limit=1-2 month ban) If you recieve a permanent ban then there is probably nothing I can do about it. I might hold it for a month or two if you are trying to appeal and become unbanned but after that the letter will probably be given to someone else or auctioned off to buy another letter.

How does your point system work?
By doing certain things around the charity for us like bumping, making banners, etc. you earn points. When you accumulate a certain amount of points you are sent a PM and can choose between art or a Sealed Letter. Once you have replied with your answer your points will be deducted from the amount you had. Then you start the cycle all over again.

I won a Sealed Letter before, is it possible to win again?
Yes, you may as long as you put a different reason you can say the exact same thing but use different words.

I submitted an entry before and didn't win, can I submit it again?
Yes, just quote your previous entry please.

Dryad's Point System
There is now a way to earn a Sealed Letter. I've come up with a point system for this charity. By accumulating a total of 20 points for certain activities for the charity. By doing the activities on the list below you earn points for them. Submit your points at the end of the week/month through PM and it will be logged. Once you have earned 20 points you will recieve a PM and you are given a choice: Sealed Letter or Art (other options might be available). Reply back and put a domo-kun in it!

Point Rates
100 bumps=1 to 2 pts [please number bumps]
Make a banner=1 to 2 pts
Make a custom bump for this charity= 1/2 pt
Adopt a newbie for at least 1 month=1 pt. Newbie must PM me a summary of their experience. [limit 1 a month]
Link us=1 pts for every 10 links
Get other threads to link us. Provide link to the thread please. Your quest thread may also count.
Compile submitted entries for the week and Pm it to me= 1/2 pts [first person to submit it will get the points]
Modding= 1/10 pt a day (Let me know you're modding on that day)
Introduce me to a new rock band= 3 pts No mainstream bands. If I know the band and already like them then points will not be earned. Just give me the band name and some must-listen to songs by them.

If you have done a task that you feel deserves some points PM me and in your points submission have it in red

Rewards
10 points=Art by Luna Wolfkin
20 points= Sealed Letter or Art
30 points= Sealed Letter and Art

There will be more rewards as I come up with them.

Had to raise it to 20 but if you think about it it's pretty easy. The point rates are pretty high...

Adopt a Newbie
Every month I will adopt 1-2 Newbies for a month. I will give them advice, instructions, do's and don'ts, etc. Do not just apply for money and clothes. I will give them away if I feel you deserve it. I can help you to start an organized quest thread so that you can learn to recieve donations yourself. When the month ends, I hope that you have learned something useful from me that will help you in Gaia.
