1) Castaway Dreams are Non-Maintence pets. You do not have any obligations when you buy one of these pets. You do not need to keep a journal or post in the shop. Your CD will not be taken from you unless you break one of the rules that states requsition as a consequence.
2) Do not think that coming in here and killing off your CD will get you your way or even upset me. If anything it will get your juvinale butt banned from my shop and all your CD's requisitioned. They will then be auctioned off starting at 1G and you, and all alternative accounts, will be forever banned from owning a pet I have colored, or from any shop I own.
3) I do not want my shop to turn into a clique' I understand some folks simply do not like others, but this shop is not your personal playground
(It's mine) and I want everyone to have a equal oppertunity to own a CD, RP a pet, or otherwise hang out here.
(I am not excluded from this rule, I will ban myself from the shop temporarily if I ever break this rule mrgreen ) However, if you have been banned from this shop for breaking a rule this rule excludes you.
4) Ask questions and don't feel dumb. It's not allowed! Feeling dumb I mean. Please do read the FAQ's though before you start asking questions. If it's not in the FAQ's then you have every right to ask any silly question you want!

5) Don't
flame my shop! This rule is supersized so I will not take any excuses about 'not seeing or knowing' of it. I consider it flaming if you come in here and start badmouthing the folks that come here. If you start up arguments or foul types of conversations your a flamer in my book. You will be banned, you will be reported, and you will find me ignoreing you completly.
6) Please use common sense and courtesy with your conversations. If your upset at someone I understand that your going to say something, but please take it to PM's before carrying on too far.
7) Don't let RL issues or issues outside this thread cross over. What this means is, ifyou had a real bad day at home, it does not give you the right to come in here and start snapping at people who have nothing to do with your problem. If you do this I will give you one warning. If it happens again you will be placed in Limbo. (Folks I do not read every single post that is made. I am kinda busy myself RL, so if you see something like this happening please PM me with a link to the disturbance or one of my staff members that has the authority to deal with the situation.)

Q: Is Role Playing and Journal Keeping the only way to get my Dream a item or power?
Answer
Nope. There will be auctions for some powers and some Items. The rareity of the item or power up for auction will vary however.
Q: Can my Dream die?
Answer
Yes your Dream can die. Just like all dreams, neglect of the Dream can kill it. The Dream can also be killed in RP. However there are penalties for those that kill other peoples Dreams against their wish. There are also penalties for killing your Dream in a manner deemed immature by me. Your Dream will not die, however, if you do not RP or Journal post for it.
Q: Can I lose my Dream?
Answer
Yes you can, by ticking me off. Other then that you need not fear for your Dream. Nor do you need worry about me. I'm not one who plays favorites and I'm not that easy to get angry or offended. Any Dream that is taken away from a disrespectful person will be put up for auction, starting a 1G and will go to the highest bidder that day. People whom have had the Dream taken away may not bid on a Dream ever again.
Q: Can I breed my Dream?
Answer
Yup. Dreams can sometimes merge and give birth to new dreams! Gender is not a issue when it comes to breeding.
Q: Four stages? Is that all?

Not anymore!
mrgreen There are now stages that can be reached by useing special items on regular dreams and Yudou! There are also new races added here, Fancies and Deejarne. Soon there will also be Nightmares that you can own!
Q: Can I RP my other Pets with my Dream?

Well...I would like that. I'm working on getting some Role Play Affiliates. Basically, these are people who wouldn't mind your Dream playing with their pet in their RP thread. Nowhere, unfortunatly, is a place that only a Dream can travel to. You can't even accompany them there. More will be explained when I get a RP thread set up.
Q: Can my Dream talk?

Yes and no. When a Dream is a Whisp it can not speak. It isn't until the Dream reachs the state of Awake that the Dream can begin to speak. When a Dream reachs Awake it begins to absorb information at a rapid rate. The Dream will begin to learn how to speak your language, and those of your pets, with much ease. After the Dream becomes Aware it's learning capacity slows down and it becomes harder for it to learn new languages.
It should be noted that Dreams have their own form of communication that is like telepathy. This form of communication can be used ONLY between Dreams. Even the Whisps can do this. It's a natrual ability and nothing can block it.
Q: What is the Whisp made of?
Answer
A Whisp appears to be made of mist and softly glowing light. It is transparent and can be looked through. A Whisp has no solid form until it hits the sleeping state. Whisp's can not be broken apart by wind, and normally they don't have any trouble by being pushed by it. They can float through cracks, but they do not break up.
Q: Is my Dream a Guy or a Girl?

Most Flatsale Dreams and commisioned Dreams can have their gender choosen by the person that buys them. Those that are not decided at purchase unfortunatly risk the certist chooseing for them. On Flat Sale certs, the gender is a small icon right below the Dreams name. On Special certs, the icon for gender is located to the lower right of the bubble. Here is a sample of the symbols.
Q: What the heck is that third symbol???

The first two are obvious enough, but that third? Well...that gender is known as Yudou. The Yudou gender is -extremly- rare and can only be gained through custom auctions. A Yudou Dream can become male or female at whim, and tends to be ranked as a Demi-god. Yudou are immune to the poison of Nightmares and are the only species that can transecend into the Angellic form.
Q. Do Dreams remeber who first dreamth them and what they were?

ninja That is partly up to the owners. Dreams can remember who originally dreamt then, and what they were about. But that comes with a price. It means they will be driven to fulfill whatever that dream was, even if it's impossible. Those that can't remember may try to, this is both good and bad cause then they can get attached to their new dreamer and become 'their dream' instead, but they will feel a bit of a longing to discover their roots. Dreams that remember nothing completly bond with their dreamer. Which is good because it forms a very deep connection, yet even this can be bad, due to the fact the dream will feel more acutely the pull to enter Nowhere because they have nothing else to 'distract' them lets say.
Q. Do Dreams dream?
Answer
Yes they do. Normally when a Dream dreams, it's just the same as when we ourselves dream. However, if two dreams dream together in a elemental temple...their dreams will merge and form new whisps!
The Castaway Dream shop is located on a small tropical island two miles off the shore of Gambino. The water level between Gambino's shores and that of the island is so shallow a average sized human can wade the distance and the water will only reach midchest level.
