The Gaian Directory for Roleplayers lists current RPGs and RPG related material to help users both advertise their threads and find RPing threads that suit their needs.

Name: His Darkest Nightmare razz erfection
Genre: Fantasy
Short Description: There is a world where the struggle to perfection literally destroyed the majority of the planet. A little boy was forsaken by his mother so she could use the extra money to improve herself. This boy was befriend by a darkness soon to be known as the Nightmare that spreads a plague. The illness causes violent death or malevolent behavior. This little boy's twin sister, on the other hand, who was still with her mother, was almost swallowed by the shadow sickness, but she was saved by a creature with wings who never spoke a word. He was known as the Angel. As the plague spread to the remaining cities on the world, Angel has found a small group known as the Masqueraders who want to kill Nightmare. He knows that only eight of the Masqueraders could never defeat such an adversary. He knows this because the Nightmare was once his wife, Eve. Luck springs his way when they've got the Nightmare trapped in a ruined city, and she must gain strength to break through, but she's losing it at the same time. At this point, four of the Masqueraders reveal that all they wanted to do was in fact help Nightmare destroy flawlessness, and they run off to find her. Now it's an equal battle between life and death. (I made that as short as possible...sorry...)

Short Description: It's June 11th 1947, a time of formalities and Hollywood. Where men wore suits and women dresses. You are all at the birthday celebration of the millionaire widower, William T Gilock. The partyhas been great so far, the wine has flowed, the music has swung and the people are full of life. Except one, unfortunatly the host, William has been found dead in his room. He was found at 2 am in the morning by his head butler, who was going in to clean the room, which is located on the first floor, the second room to the right. He was found with 2 bullet holes in his chest, but no gun to be found. Now the guests are gathered round each and everyone is a suspect, this case is going to be solved before the night is out.

Short Description:Crosshaven is a Gaia Town currently in the works. Several people have come together to create and furnish more than 20 public buildings, including a tavern, a library, a courthouse, an inn, a ballroom, a sparring hall, a church, etc. We are looking for literate players who are willing to plant their houses in Crosshaven and join our rp when the final release of Gaia Towns comes out. There will be storylines, ongoing plots, and even non-player antagonists to stir up the mix. If you have your own literate RP with a few friends, Crosshaven might make the perfect setting for it. The setting will be gaia-ish modern fantasy, with realistic people who each posess a special magical power. There will be no overbearing backstory to limit peoples' creativity, and everyone will be able to choose their own power.
Joining Requirements:We ask that all our residents be at least 16 years old in real life, and that their characters be some semblance of realistic people. (Please no fairies, demons, vampires, etc.) We ask that characters be original, and that players be courteous. Feel free to create a new mule character for Crosshaven, a person to grow and develop with us.
Other Comments: I believe that Crosshaven has something for every literate player on Gaia, and though it's going to take time and effort to build our community, we want the best and the brightest to be a part of it. Short Description: Oppositio Solidus is a message board and play-by-email role-playing game based off of the Super Nintendo video game Pretty Soldier Sailormoon: Another Story. It takes place after one of the alternate endings, where the opposition soldiers were thought to have died along with Apsu, but were instead taken to another world in another dimension to start over.
Joining Requirements: Literacy and creativity is an absolute must. Also, familiarity with the Sailormoon universe is suggested. An application must be submitted to us via the forum. Please note that this is not a role-play for people who do not enjoy writing, do not like a lot of reading and research, or cannot create dimensional characters.

The forest, filled with darkness and dark, living magic, sprawls everywhere around two small settlements. One is the struggling town of Cadzien, home of humans and anyone else willing to work hard for their living. Fear haunts the town, but its people are strong and brave, and so can stand up against the malignant forces that strive to destroy its inhabitants. Everyone learns to fight at an early age. Learning to work together follows quickly--loners die unless they are incredibly strong. The second settlement, intertwined with the green forest, yet distinct from it, is called Sani-dan-Aelt. It is the home of the elves. Elves, so much like humans, yet with an affinity to the forest and everything about it, are daring, bold, and honor-bound.

Strong and brave as these people are, they would not be unusual...except for the grudge of the gods. All the gods that dwell in the forest and above it loathe the people of Cadzien and Sani-dan-Aelt, and take every opportunity to plan their destruction. Deep in the forest, the gods plot and plan and fight for the right to wipe Cadizien and Sani-dan-Aelt away forever.
