Welcome to the Star-Crossed Lovers' Syndrome Support Group!
~*~*~*~*~ F A Q ~*~*~*~*~
Q - What is SCLS?
A - When you and that special someone feel so close, so attached, so much like one being, that you really can't function alone. You need each other. Maybe you can stand to go to work or school, but leaving in the morning is really tough. You often wonder if there's some way you might be able to just spend every day together.
Q - How does it happen?
A - True Love, Love at First Sight, Metaphysical Thought Linkage, Psychic Phenomenon, Past Lives, and Alien-Implanted Cranial Circuitry have all been pondered as sources of SCLS.
Q - What if I have SCLS but he/she doesn't?
A - That's not SCLS, that's a crush. SCLS is when you BOTH feel the same way.
Q - Can I be cured?
A - We don't consider SCLS a disease, and we don't have a cure. "Curing" SCLS would be like cutting off part of your body!
Q - So why a support group?
A - For many reasons:
- To bring awareness to SCLS.
- To keep people who can't be with their sweeties company.
- To give us a place to declare our undying devotion in public without making the single people all depressed.
- But mostly, because we think it's cute.
