This is a Fruits Basket Role Playing guild. I you want to join then send me a PM and tell me what character you want to be. It's first come first serve so hurry up!! All I ask is that you follow the rules.

Here's the story:
The enigmatic Sohma family shares a great secret, its members are possessed by spirits of the Chinese Zodiac, and when they are hugged by members of the opposite sex, they transform into their Zodiac animal! Tohru Honda, an orphaned high school freshman, is given lodging in the Sohma household in exchange for taking care of household chores. The humble Tohru is quite grateful for the Sohma family's generosity, and the longer she stays with them, the more they realize what a blessing she is in their lives, as well.

Tohru Honda: (nekogirl776)
A very humble and grateful girl, Tohru tries hard to please those around her and sincerely wants to get to know them better. When she discovers the Sohma secret, she promises to take it with her to her grave. She's always felt like an outsider--a rice ball in a fruit basket--so living in a household of outsiders makes her feel as if she's finally home.
Yuki Sohma: (Hiei_sister)
Zodiac Animal--the Rat. Yuki is beautiful and mysterious. The other kids at school call him the 'Prince of Kaiwaia High.' He left the main Sohma house so that he could attend a co-ed school, but being so popular yet unable to touch any girl makes his life quite difficult. He's often fighting with Kyo.
Kyo Sohma: (Uber_anbu_kakashi)
Zodiac Animal--The Cat. According to legend, the Cat was tricked by the Rat and was left out of the Zodiac. Kyo certainly acts like someone who was betrayed, and Yuki--the Rat--is his greatest rival. He's been training hard in the martial arts so that he can beat Yuki. Impulsive, headstrong and prone to violence, he has a hard time dealing with others, but he's trying.
Shigure Sohma: (The_Tormented_Cheese)
Zodiac Animal--The Dog. Shigure is a novelist by trade and tries hard to look the part, lounging around the house in his kimono. He has a dry wit, but a good heart. As senior member of his splinter Sohma house, he looks out for Yuki and Kyo.
Momiji Sohma: (Orocha Akui)
Playful and care free as the rabbit he turns into, Momiji is half German and half japanese, he switches casually betweenthe two languages. His father owns the building where Tohru works.
Kagura Sohma: (ninjagrl)
Stubborn and jealous as her her zodiac smbol the boar, Kagura is determined to marry Kyo... even if she kills him in the process.
Hatori Sohma: (Love Queen of Germany)
The Sohma family doctor. He has the spirit of the dragon which manifests as a seahorse. When Akito wills it, Hatori can erase the minds of anyone who finds out the family secret. He once had to erase the memories of a woman he loved. Ever since then he has been against letting anyone know the family secret... even Tohru.
Hanajima: (aktaya)
One of Tohru's friends. She is can sense electric waves.
Arisa: (Shizuku_Fushigi)
Tohru's other friend. She was a gang member until she met Tohru and her mother. Now she is just a tough girl woh like Hanajima, is always looking out for Tohru.
Ayame Sohma: (Meiko_Michan)
Ayame is Yuki's older brother, but they are nothing alike. Ayame is much louder than Yuki, not to mention much more sure of himself. He is under the impression that he is the most charming person in the world.
Ayame likes to dress up in women's clothing from time to time. His only intention is to bond with Yuki.
Hatsuharu Sohma: (insertwittynamehere)
One of the most interesting characters in Fruits Basket. Whenever he embraces a person of the opposite gender, he turns into a cow. Haru has developed a split personality. The good side of him is "White Haru", the calmer, kinder, lazier, and less arrogant side. The bad side is "Black Haru", who is arrogant, rude, and rather violent. Even the smallest
problem can trigger his black personality.
Hiro Sohma: (~sousuke_hanaki~)
Since Kisa likes Tohru, Hiro becomes incredibly jealous over her. Sometimes it seems like all he wants to do is boss Tohru around. His motives are to act more grown up (though he doesn't have that much self control) and to impress Kisa. Hiro is the only zodiac member that does not like Tohru at all. He is Kisa's best friend, and he even has a crush on her. Hiro seems to have no motivation to do anything to quell the anger he causes.When Hiro is hugged by a member of the opposite gender, he turns into a sheep.
Kisa Sohma: (Nephelem)
Kisa got picked on at school, so for a while she wouldn't talk to anyone. Then she ran away, and wouldn't stop biting Tohru at first. She learned how to talk again because of Tohru. Kisa is a really nice little girl all in all. Also, she and Hiro are really good friends, and he even has a crush on her.
Ritsu Sohma sad silvermoon dragon)
Ritsu was born with the curse of the sign of the monkey. As far back as he could remember, his parents always had to apologize for everything he did, so he is very unsure of himself. He feels that every day, he is robbing the world of its air by breathing.He found that it always made him feel more comfortable to dress like a girl, but that only gave his parents even more to apologize for. Since he looks so much like a girl, that's what Tohru thought when she first saw him, until he accidently transformed. Somehow, Tohru convinced him that he does have a reason to live, he just hasn't found it yet.
Akito Sohma sad Xiraes)
Akito is the head of the Sohma family. Not much is known about him though. Yuki seems to be terribly afraid of his though.
