I figured that since there's a lot of pokemon up 'for grabs' this time around, that I'll just hold the flatsale in a seperate thread. X3

Feel free to meander about the thread, and post any questions you might have.

Rules/Guidelines

(S indicates that that rule applies to the speed-based part)

- Interest must be shown beforehand. (S)
- Those currently owning a pokemon cannot participate. (S)
- Purchasing a pokemon for someone else (ie. friend) is allowed, although in doing so the user forfeits his or her chance to get one in the same flatsale.
- The flatsale does not officially start until either Chibizoo or Atarashii post (in big, bolded and red wink font!
- Five minutes before the set flatsale time, a post will be made declaring that there's five minutes to go. No one is to post afterwards.
- DO NOT EDIT YOUR REQUEST POST! This is considered cheating, and if someone is caught doing so, he or she will be blacklisted. No ifs, ands or buts.
- Do not send trades until the final winners are announced.
- One pokemon per person, per flatsale.

The RPing portion of the flatsale will begin right after the speed-based part and last until Monday (04/1 cool , ending at 12am PST. The participants are asked to get their entries in before (or at) the deadline. (Extended until ???)

Guidelines

- Those who won a pokemon in the first half of the flatsale may not participate. On the other hand, those who had obtained a pokemon beforehand can.
- Just one of the RP prompts has to be answered. No bonus points will be given if both are done. razz
- You can answer for more than one pokemon, although in the end, you can just win one of them.
- Entries can be posted in the thread, or PMed to the PokeGenesis account. If PMed, please make certain to have the subject be 'RP Flatsale' or something along those lines.

Prompts

It doesn't matter what perspective is used when responding; all I ask is that paragraph style is used. (no script format)

01.

There. Perfectly blocking your path.

Your eyes narrow at the Zangoose/Seviper in front of you, teeth half-bared in disgust. A grow/hiss works its way out of your throat as you glare at your hated rival.

"Get off. My path." you hear yourself say, tensed and ready to jump at the slightest movement from your opponent.

The other pokemon simply flicked their eyelids in what seemed almost like boredom. "On the contrary, I think you should get off mine."

You gaze levelly at the other pokemon. You had the agility to probably defeat them; but their claws/fangs promised quite a battle. Maybe goading the other logically instead of breaking into a fighting frenzy would be the better choice . . . or would it? Would the other pokemon even listen?

02.

You're a trainer starting out on your journey, and it's the morning when you head to the local Pokemon Lab to get your first pokemon. Excited, you jump out of bed and get dressed, skipping breakfast in favour of rushing over to the lab.

Once there, Professor Maple greets you. After a few greetings, you find out that it seems you got there too late, and there's just one pokemon left . . .

03.

In the darkness of the night you make your way through the forest, with nothing but your pokemon. A soft hooting of a Hoot Hoot sounds, followed soon after by a howl.

Undaunted, you continue onwards, stopping only as a dark form steps into your path.

Its eyes lock onto yours, a sinister glint within them and lips drawn back to reveal sharp fangs.

Taking in the dark colours, you can't help but recall some rumours you'd heard . . .

(To sum it up: You're walking along, and come across a dark pokemon.)
