What It Is
It's a guide to Gaia, containing all the names and URLs for each forum and subforum, as well as the Suggestion threads.

History
Who cares about that? I took it out, for sake of length and relevance.

Purpose
The TAPGUIT doesn't have one single main purpose. There are several possibilities:

1. It could be used to help the confused newbies who don't know what they're doing.
2. You could use it as an index for your own purposes, so it will be easier to find the proper place to discuss a topic or post a thread.
3. You could also refer others to this thread who are either interested in helping others, or who even might need a bit of help themselves.
4. You could use it in the Q&A, in helping those who ask questions.
5. Or, you could get creative and come up with some other use for it.

Pronunciation
Like tap-goo-it. Sounds weird, but that's the only acronym I could think of back then. Vote on the poll if you like one of my other ideas better, or if you wanna keep it. Don't know why you would, though. neutral

It's yet another awesome Notepad file, not containing a list of forums and subforums like the TAPGUIT, but instead a list of relevant stickies and threads, mainly things like error reporting threads, suggestion threads, and rule/policy stickies and announcement threads.

Since the Stickies and such are even more subject to change and addition than the forums, it will probably need to be updated more often than the TAPGUIT. And since I can't pay attention to every forum and subforum... If you've noticed that I missed something, or something that you think shouldn't be left out, please post in this thread to inform me! (Or you can PM me, that's fine too, I guess)

-nods- Is is assitance. I'm used to jsut refeiring to is as Q&a** because I really could care less. It's for people to ask site related questions and recieve and answer. The only reason I even posted about the guide misplacement because it's a guide to help people with misplacement. There's obviously some sort of problem there.

As for a better place, I personally think you should look around and the currently avalible stickies/guides and such and see if it can be added to one. Everything doesn't need it's own thread. Especially if the majority of it is contained in an off-site link. The normaly place for guides and such if EF, but threads need to be moved there, not created there (unless of course you speak with a noted EF mod beforehand to see if creating it there would be okay. In some cases it is).

Let the mods decide this, I already PM'd one earlier today. And believe me, I have looked, thoroughly. If you've found a place for this, link me. Thanks for your suggestions, but they haven't helped me all that much. sweatdrop
