Dear Diary,

Bath Time was fun today with Purr-purr. She seemed facinated by her reflection... especially when she would splash around. She would smile and coo and play with her head feather, as if trying to make some elaborate up-do. I hope she grows hair one day sweatdrop She's going to get mighty bored of that little tuft...and there's only so much you can do with one tuft of ... feather head-dress thingy.

Mordath's flower on the other hand... she had a blast with that when she met him. Mordath, on the other hand, was less than pleased. He likes his flower just the way it is. It was very cute, however. Sabin, Gavin, his mimic fae, and Mordath are all so similar.... cept now its like I have 4 Sabins to worry about... all in different states of maturity. Not that Sabin ever really grew up...and I doubt any of his ... "kids" ever will either.

But thats okay. Thats why I'm crazy in love with him. heart

*pulls out a stuffed fox plushie* This is one of mommy's favorite stuffed animals... but I want you to have it. You see..

...Mommy is one of these. Its called a "kitsune" but you can maybe start by calliing it "foxy" Isn't she pretty?

Uh oh - i think that was her first word ... Pretty, huh? Ok! I think she also likes words with 'r' in them ... I wonder what she will be...

Dear Diary,

Purr-purr said her first words today! "purr-purr Pretty!" I almost fainted I squealed so loud. She loves her little plush fox, she played with it all last night. But today her new toys came in, and I'm about to go show them to her.

*walks over to Purr-purr who is playing with Foxy on the floor*

*kneels down and pulls her into her lap* I have more toys for you today!

*Purrs squeals and claps her hands together*

*hands Purr-purr the unico doll* Here, isn't he cute? Mommy likes unicorn-people!

*Purr-purr takes the doll, almost her size, and smiles. And prompty pokes it on it nose, then giggles hysterically*

*smiles* Wow, you must have seen me do that. Mommy also got you a story book to read to you at night. But for now, you can have this book... *pulls out the touch-and-feel book* See? It has all kinds of feelable things in it!

*Purr-purr slides off her lap, book in one hand and Unico in the other, and sits on the floor. She sits unico up beside her, and Foxy in front of her. She opens the book and her eyes light up. Her hands dart to the bright shapes and colors. She laughs and claps every few minutes, turning the pages and making sure she's found everything in the book. She smiles and pushes to the book towards Unico. When Unico doesn't respond, she frown and "shows" him how to do it. Unico still just sits there. Flustered, Purr-purr grabs the book back and roughly pushes the doll over with a pout*

Hey hey, Purr-purr, that wasn't nice... *pulls her into her lap again* Here, Mommy will play with you.

*purr-purr looks over, still pouting, and sticks her tongue out at Unico*

*sighs* Unico will keep you safe at night, but he's not a big "play" person. Maybe when you're older Mommy will get you a pet, eh? Do you want do play with Mordath? I bet he'd love your book. Lets go see your God-father.

Dear Diary,

Purr-purr and I went over to see Mordath and Sabin today. Mordath;s really turning out to be quite a cutie. Like his father, of course.

Purr was thrilled to see someone her own age to play with. Mordath was stubborn, but I think he really enjoyed it, too.

Words can't express how excited I am to see how she grows up. I hope she grows up big and beautiful. And purple. And feathery and furry and oh so snuggly. A mother can dream, yes? Of course, I'll love her no matter what. But look at her? How could you not? ^_~

PS ~ Purr and Unico made up. They are now insperateble. Unico doesn't try to bite her when she plays with his hair... unlike Mordath.

Dear Diary:

Purr purrs been learning so much these last few days! She talking a lot more... she calls her unico doll "Unabah" which I think is her way of saying "unicorn boy" in Purrpurrese. She also says "Mordy" for Mordath and "Sah-bee" for Sabin. "Fossy" is Foxy. Lets see... she also say "pretty" alot. "No!" and "play" are also words she says way too often sometimes. ^_^

She loves playing with Mordath, but I don't know if its 100% reciprocated. I should untroduce to her some mroe fa'e very soon. I think she's almost ready for a pet... but I still want to wait until she grows up alittle more.

I should come up with a library system! There are a million and one books out there - it would be a pain to have to draw all of them .... maybe i should make a library card instead ...
