Gender: Male
Likes: Being called Riy, and talked to. He enjoies being involved in everything as well. It seems like he'll be a very interesting Shee.
Dislikes: Loud noises.
Favorite colours: Unknown
Personality/Random facts: For some strange reason Riyo likes being called Riy. He glows and squeeks everytime he gets called that name. At the moment it seems that Riyo is a very people Shee, but you never know. He might only act like that with his family.

Karia -Riyo's older sister, how could he not have met her?

Tape -Riyo has met Tape, but since Riyo is just a flower, we don't know how he feels about him. But it seems that he enjoys being near him.

Ryuusei -Riyo has met Ryuu, and seems to like her. It's probably something minor, after all, he is just a flower.

This is Riyo when I first got him as a flower. I hadn't found out much about him yet though.

Riyo, as I guessed it a trouble maker. Sadly I won't be able to write anything in his journal, except for translations. But Riyo seems to be taking to everything very well.
Surprisingly, my little Riy has learned how to properly write! I think the lessons that Karia was giving him were helpful. 3nodding

2005/03/16- I got Riyo! He looks sooooo cute in his little blue flower! We're going to have lot's of fun together! *Huggles Riyo* whee

Also- Karia and Riyo will periodically post in each other's diary/journal. As for untill Riyo can speak, Karia and I will be writing in his journal. 3nodding

Later- Riyo said his first word! Well, it's not really a word, but he's somehow learned to coo, squeak (in two different ways), glow (I have no idea how he does that) and wiggle. whee Karia and I are soo happy! Karia also changed into an adult, though she still acts like a teenager. sweatdrop

2005/03/19- It seems like Riyo is learning and growing quickly now. He has now learned that he can, and we learned that he will, move off anyflat surface, that is above the ground. He will definatly be a trouble maker.

2005/03/20- RIYO GREW! I was soooooo excited! I really wanted to rp the whole thing! I think I did pretty well (It is posted in the journal. 3nodding ) and Flaire even said that it's the best one she's seen! whee This is sooooo cool! Karia's going to be so happy!

2005/03/22- Riyo is learning VERY fast! I'm almost scared! It's as if he has this vaccum in his head that sucks up all the knowledge, and keeps it there forever! It really scares me! He can already talk walk and write! I am baffled that he has accomplished so much in such a short while! I also found out that my predictions were right, Riyo is a handful to take care of! I really don't know why, but he thinks that he has a reputatuin to uphold! How he gets these ideas I don't know but I wish he'd tell me! He's also mad that he can't play with Karia, she's sick with the flu! I honestly don't know how I keep up with these guys!

2005/03/26- Well, today is Karia's party, and Riyo doesn't seem to happy with all of the attention she's getting. But then again, he almost seem a bit excited about meeting all of these new Shee. I'm getting kind of curious myself.

2005/04/02- I haven't been doing much in Riyo's journal recently, but now I'm going to do a whole update. Adding the pics that need to be added, fixing up as many 'no picture' problems as I can, and adding the rp's, past and present. I'll try to get it done soon. I have so much to do. xp I might end up adding some pets for Riyo.

2005/08/13- I'm really sad... I have to quit Gaia, and I won't be able to help Riyo and Karia grow to thier full extent. crying Flarie said that she'd give them happy homes... I hope they get adopted together. This is enough trauma as is... Now I have to break it to them...

Well, we just got Riyo! Karia and I watered him, and fertilized his soil. Though we took a little while finding the right place for him, but eventually we got it. *Remembers*

Karma! How about over here? See? This way he'll be in the sunlight, and he's going to be near us all of the time!

*Nods in approval* Maybe...Oh! How about over here? This'll be perfect! Don't cha think Karia?

Oh! Yes yes yes! That's the spot! Perfect!

*Riyo wiggles and coos inside his little flower.* Coooo.

Karma! Riyo just made his first sound!

He did? What did he say?

He cooed!

*Together harmoniously* Awwwww!


As you can see, we are both very excited about Riyo, though he seems to be a little intimidated by our enthusiasim. This is why we have decided that only one of us is allowed to be in the same room with him. Unless we're re-planting him.
Note to self- In future, actually FOLLOW this rule. sweatdrop
Well, now Karia can write a bit.

Yaay! I have a little brother! *Gently strokes the little flower.* He's sooo cute! I've come up with a nickname for him... Riy!
*Riyo squeeks happily and starts to glow.*
It's kinda funny, but you can really see what his personality will be like, even though he's only a little flower. I have found out the following facts:

-Coo= He does this all the time, I think he's trying to talk.

-Squeek= It depends how he makes the squeek, but at the moment if it's high and short, it means he's scared. If it's long, and not too high, it means he's happy.

-Wiggle=He does this a lot too. We still haven't figured out what this one means.

-Glow= Riy does this when he's really happy or excited. Strangley enough, he does this every time I call him Riy.

That's all I've found out about Riy.
*Riyo squeeks happily again and softly glows*
See? Whenever I call him that he glows and squeeks! It's so cute! But if I find out any more, you'll be sure to know about it.

*Slowly walks into Riyo's room carrying him in his pot.*

Well, everything's going well. Today Riyo went into the garden for the first time. Karia said that he seemed to like it a lot. We just can't wait to see what he looks like later in his life! He's so energetic, I can tell he's going to be a hand full. Just later today her almost knoked himself over in the pot! I really don't kow how, but he did! Oh! It's about time to give him his water. *Takes out a watering can and drissles Riyo with water.*

*Riyo wiggles around and squeeks happily*Squeek!

*Karia walks into Riyo's room and places his pot which she had been carrying on a desk.*

Today while Riyo and I were sitting in the garden, I saw a little girl playing with fire. When we went over to talk to her she was very kind polite and nice. I think Riyo kinda likes her.

*Riyo squirmed about in his flower and let out an odd sound.*Cooureek!

I take it that he doesn't likethe fact that I could tell. Then again, he is just a flower. I'm hoping though, that when Riy here blooms, that he'll have a friend.

*Karma walks into Riyo's room, carrying him carefully in both hands, then setting him down beside her on a desk.*

Nothing much has happened today, I brought Riyo to the garden. I haven't been there in a while, and I had forgotten how beautiful it was. Riyo seems to be growing. His flower is now twice the size it once was when I got him. Karia and I are very proud of Riyo, it seems like he's learning so much! Though we'll never really know until he can speak, but until then, we'll just hope that he is.
*Riyo wiggled around in his flower, then squirmed, and managed to bring his pot to the edge of the table before Karma noticed and put him in front of her.* Squeek!
*Sigh* I really can't think of how he does it, but Riyo manages to almost knock himself off all of the tables I put him on! Never in my life have I heard of a moving flower.

*Karma rushed into Riyo's room and started to write extremly fast.*
I don't know what is going on, but when I find out...Oh boy is Riyo getting it! He's now being surrounded by a glowing barrier! He even trapped a butterfly in with him! I'm very scared and I have been searching for Ileyna and Kuile, hoping that they might be able to help me! I have to go search more, bye!

*As Karma left Riyo's barrier started to get bigger and a darker shade of blue. Riyo, very scared, let out a terrified squeek.* Squeeeeeek!

*Karma, in a very comfortable pocition, fell asleep in her chair.* Zzzzzzzz.

*Riyo, slightly disturbed at the odd sounds his mother was making, started to glow and squeeked, loudly.* Squeek!

*Karma woke up hearing the squeek and found Riyo, with a butterfly on him.* Well, well, well Riyo, it seems like you can make friends out of anyone, can't you? *Karma giggled, and photographed the event, maybe she could paste it in Riyo's journal, he'd laugh at it later on.*

*Riyo, feeling something heavy on his petals, started to glow furiously, but this was a strange type of glow, it almost seemed to create an ever growing barrier around Riyo.*

*At first Karma thought that this was rather nifty, but then got worried, as it was covering the flower, so she couldn't see it anymore.* Oh my gosh! Riyo, you've certainly done something now! *Karma looked around frantically, to try and find someone who could help.* Hello? Is there anyone here?

*Karma didn't know what to do, Riyo was being covered by a barrier like glowing thing that she couldn't break! She needed help from someone who would know what to do.* Help! Help! Oh, what do I do? Stay calm, and just think! Okay, who would know what to do in a situation like this? Ummm, I 've got it! Kuile, or Ilyena, or both! They made the Shee and the garden, maybe thay could help me? *Karma picked up Riyo and looked around the garden, trying to find Kuile and Ilyena.* Oh, where could they be?

*Riyo, meanwhile started to make a sound, like he had never made before, it almost sounded like he was...crying. While the butterfly, encased in the barrier, didn't seem worried.*

Kuile hung upside down from a tree branch, watching everything. "Don't panic. It's normal!"

*Karma finally succeded in finding Kuile. Though her response to Karma's problem seemed, to her at least, uncomforting.* Normal? What do you mean normal? My Riyo is being attacked by a glowing barrier! *She was a parent, and very worried for her child, so to her, a glowing barrier seemingly eating her son up, wasn't normal, and was a definate threat.*

*Just as Karma arrived at Kuile, Riyo stopped crying, and the barrier, started to change colours slowly, then speeding up so it looked like a mushed up set of paints. Gradually the colours started to go away, untill all that was left was a silver orb in Karma's hands. The orb glimmered and sparkled slowly growing bigger and bigger.*

*Karma watched, absolutally mortified at what she had just wittnessed.* What's happening? Where's my Riyo? WHAT DID I DO WRONG? *Karma collapsed on the ground crying.

She snickered and dropped from the tree, somehow landing on her feet. "Don't worry so much! It's perfectly natural. He's just decided that flower was too small for him. Everyone has to grow at some point you know," she said, dropping to her knees and watching the orb.

*Karma's idea of what was going on now drastically changed. Though, she still didn't stop crying.* He...He's growing? So you mean he won't be eaten up by a glowing barrier? *Karma was now a little relieved. But due to her crying she placed the orb on the ground so she could wipe away her tears.*

*As the orb was placed on the ground it started to grow even more rapidly, then in a nanosecond, shrunk to the size of a basketball. Slowly, the silvery shine of the orb started to melt away, leaving now a clear orb, that looked like glass.*

*Karma stopped wiping her eyes, and carefully held the glass-like orb in her hands.* Riyo, it's all right to come out now. I'm here. *Karma wached the glass orb intently. and moved beside Kuile. So they could share the moment.*

*The orb started to get clearer and clearer, untill it just vanished into thin air.*

*Karma, was shocked, her Riyo had just dissappeared completley.* Wha...What? Riyo? RIYO? Riyo, where are you?

*Slowly, a small piece of a cloud drifted down to Karma, and landed in her hands. The cloud puffed up a little bit, and then dissappeared. Revealing a small child in Karma's hands. He opened his eyes and he looked up at Karma. His purple eyes were quite a sight to see and his dark brown hair contrasted them perfectly. Riyo made his hands into little fists and let out the cutest squeek ever.* Squeek!

*Karma's eyes watered with happiness.* Oh, Riyo... *Karma closed her eyes for a minute, then reached in to hug Riyo.*

*As Karma reached in to hug him, Riyo slid out of her grasp and caught the butterfly that had previously been trapped with him. This is when he said his first word.*Fwend! *Riyo rolled over to Kuile, and gave her the butterfly, then sat on Karma's lap. He looked up at Kuile and repeated the word again, but more like a question this time.* Fwend?

*Karma, realised what Riyo had done, and held off her hugs for a moment, so Kuile could reply.*

Kuile grins, her wings fluttering slightly. "About time he came out of that flower, I was afraid he was getting way too big for it..Try to keep him from eating bugs..Ok?"

*Karma, proceeded in hugging Riyo, multiple times.* Oh, yes. Of course, that wouldn't be the best thing for him now, would it? I'll try my best to keep him safe.

*No sooner did Karma say that, then Riyo started to stuff the butterfly in his mouth.* Yummy!

Oh no! Riyo! That's not food! *Karma's eyes widened and she looked like she was about to rush Riyo to the hospital.*

*Riyo's eyes lit up with delight as he pulled the butterfly out of his mouth, and started to laugh.* Hee hee!

*Karma, stopped moving and sighed.* I knew it, he's definatly going to be a handful to take care of. But I'll do it. *Karma gently reached over to the butterfly.*

*Riyo picked up the butterfly and hugged it. Understandably, he seemed to have a strong connection with the little butterfly. Riyo shook his head as if it would be terrible if the two were separated.*

*Karma, brought back her hand.* I guess that means no. *Karma smiled as Riyo played with the little butterfly on his hands.* Kuile, thank you. For calming me down. Now that I think about it, if you didn't I might've made a terrible mistake, and broken the orb to get to Riyo. Thank you, very, very much.

"Hmm..No problem. Seems to be attatched to that bug..Be careful with it. May be his familiar for all we know. Wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened," she giggles.

*Karma nodded.* Okay, I'll let him keep it. He probly won't eat it if he's that attached to it.

*Riyo smiled and hugged both Karma and Kuile.* Fwends! *Riyo exclaimed happily and he fell asleep in thier laps.*
