12th March 2005: Official Samurai Legend Musashi Thread created, three days before US release. (Short notice, huh?)
16th March 2005: The game releases and copies theoretically hit the shelves. Happy Musashi day!
20th March 2005: "Final Blow" Contest is under development! Look for more information on this in News.
4th May 2005: Cleaned up the front pages. Re-organized, re-wrote and updated links, added Jump-To clickies to the Contents page. Accepting submissions for the Final Blow contest.
24th June 2005: I've been gone. Felt bad for not properly managing the thread like I hoped to. Extended the contest and opened third place prizes to regulars: you'll all recieve Samurai Struck for keeping the place alive. I'll arrange that soon. Thanks all! biggrin
29th November 2005: Once again, I've gotten involved in other stuff and the thread has all but died off. There are still a few people who check in from time to time, I'm sure, but I feel bad that I started this up and didn't run with it like I wanted to. Since that, and my contest, fell through, I've dug up both the Brave Fencer Musashi and Brave Fencer Musashi 2 soundtracks. Links can be found on Post 2, where the contest was.

:Rules
1) Samurai Legend Musashi Official is reserved for game discussion. (Good humor is always appriciated. 3nodding ) If there is enough demand, I'll start work on a Musashi RP thread. (Which will inevitably end up on the linklist and/or first page.)
2) Samurai Legend Musashi spoilers are (finally) okay to post. It's been out long enough.
3) Samurai Legend Musashi Official supports good grammar! Do us a favor and at least make posts that can be deciphered.
4) There are no stupid questions. Stuck on a level? Can't beat a boss? Just ask, someone's most likely done it already. And besides, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

Being a fan thread for a new game, there will be questions asked about how to play through it. Asking questions here is absolutely fine, and I thought I'd clear things up for question-asking a bit. (Still under construction.)

All files are individually downloaded (good luck with that), but the game music is there. I doubt you could get this music anywhere else unless you imported it directly from Japan, so if you have the means and appriciate the service offered, send your donations to Galbadia Hotel. Hey, why not reimburse them for the CD they provided you??

Wow, I found this thread as I was playing through Brave Fencer Musashi Ironically. That was a great game. I've been waiting for a sequel for years, and I was so happy to finally learn of a True Sequel for BFM. What a glorious day.

I have been looking for a way to buy that game not over the internet for so long now(I'm not asking you for it, I just think it was stupid to do that. It's such a good game!!)

Do you not have any used game stores around? the gamestop down the street from me has an abundace of copies of BFM, I have the Disc itself, but I'm a collector so I need my case and Instruction book to go along with it xd

How could you sell that game! It like selling Final Fantasy 8, you just can't do that!

Any way I'd loved BFM! (gave up on the last boss?) but I never knew that there would be a sequel though?(there was a demo/trailer on mana3 but then the game's development was put to a holt?Square...)(now it looks really different?gaggles?Enix? )

So what's the story about? Doe's it have anything to do with it's predecessor?

P.S. Need some help of this thing?

I know, I feel so horrible for selling it! I was young(er)....I didn't appriciate it like I do now! crying I'm so hitting every used game shop to see if I can find a copy, and if all else fails, I'm hitting EBGames and Ebay. It just won't feel right to have Samurai Legend without Brave Fencer @_@''

Well I do have an EB games near me, but I have went there so many times looking for it, but they said they don't have one, and they said that since it is a rare game, that I should look for it on E-Bay or something. Which is a good idea, but nooo, my mom won't let me use her credit card scream gonk

Dude, you can buy things off of Ebay with money orders, I do it all the time, because there is no way I'm using my credit card over the internet. so look for people that accept money orders. that makes it a lot easier.

Well, I hope that the Musashi from SLM is the same from its predecessor BFM, because if they pull some crap story of replacement, I won't be happy. but the gameplay looks to have improved since BFM, which is always good, and I love the cel-shaded graphics, I mean nothing looks better to me than cel-shading.
