Welcome to Gaia! ::

This is where the RP for Satyr Grove and Forgotten Woods will be held.

Story

In Greek mythology, Satyrs were the half-human, half-goat followers of Pan. Bringers of mischief and lewd innuendo, Satyrs were reviled by some, and loved by others.

Wolves on the other hand, have always been loyal and steadfast-- at least by stereotype. The pack is what holds everyone together, and the structure of the pack is what stands above all. Even the lone wolves wish for packs to call their own.

The two types of creatures roaming around the fields and meadows surrounding Mount Omega seldom get along. In fact, some would call them rivals. There are two forests-- one the Satyrs have claimed as their 'Grove' even though it's an entire forest, and another the Wolves have claimed for themselves.

(Not in such a straight line, but you get the idea)

RULES

1) You may only post here if you own a pet from Satyr Grove or Forgotten Woods

2) Be nice. Y'know that old 'golden rule'? The one in the Bible, not the other one? Yah. Be nice to everyone, and I'll be nice to you. Got it?

3) Be literate. Paragraphs are nice. *...* are not. Also denote what's IC and what's OOC. ((Paranthetical like this is pretty~)) AND DON'T BRING THE OWNERS INTO THE RP.

4) It's basic, but no God-modding. No puppeteering--aka, no moving Satyrs that aren't yours. Let their owners make the decisions.

5) I reserve the right to ask you to be more literate.

6) All rules from the main shop apply.

A fire in the Satyr Grove... set by...? We don't know... but it's out now.
Fielrae explored his surroundings, his dark red eyes scanning the tall trees and the sunlight streaming through the leafy canopy of the forest. Cautiously, he stepped into the clearing, sniffing a stone or a mushroom here, nibbling a berry or a leaf that smelled okay. Suddenly, a strange thing landed on his nose. It was bright and colorful, and when he shook his head it flew off, seeming to dart in random directions. Its beautiful wings glinting. He cocked his head, then ran after it.
Mystic watches Fielrae curiously and dashes off after him.
Sesshomaru watched them both calmly, laying down with his forepaws crossed and his chin resting on them. It was beneath him to run... it just wasnt his style. He'd rather go to the village and look up the girl's skirts.
The little satyr stopped when he heard the hoofbeats of Mystic running after him. Turning, he glanced at her, then the other red kid who lay lazily nearby, watching them.
Mystic shifts from hoof to hoof, glancing at the other two satyrs nervously.
Not really caring, Fielrae continued on his way, noticintg something up ahead. It was a patch of muticolored grass, all the colors of the rainbow. in the center, there was a little green egg with a funny little hat with a feather, and it had a brown belt which tied a dagger to it. It was a small, curious egg. There were multi-colored little glowing balls of light surrounding it. They seemed to be communicating to each other with sounds like tiny bells.
Sesshomaru watched them calmly, not really caring what they were doing, as long as they left him alone. He got up abruptly, to go see if he could find some young girls' skirts to peek up.

Duo plowed into the field at a dead gallop, plowing right into Mystic and flipping head over heels.
Watching the little dancing lights for so long, he started to grow dizzy and he felt weak. the last thing he remembered was that a few of the little balls of light had noticed him. Then he blacked out.

When he woke later on in the night, he shook his aching head in an attempt to clear it. Silver hair brushed against his cheek and he felt colder all of a sudden. It was as if...as if all his fur was gone...

Looking down at himself, he found his fur had, indeed, vanished. However, his bare skin was as navy blue as his fur had been, and it bore the same silverish-blue markings. Peering into a nearby stream, he found to his relief that he still had his horns and his long floppy ears, but his limbs had grown longer and his hooves had disappeared. His tail was now only a tuft of silver fur.

After staring at his limbs for a long time, he wondered if he could use them for new things. Deciding after a while to try it, he grabbed onto a low branch with his new hands and pulled himself to his flat feet. It took him a moment to gain his balance, but soon he was steady and he let go of the branch. He laughed. He was standing on two feet.
A young Satyr in clothing much too overaged for him sat a bit away from the rest of the group. He watched them intently with his eyes--one visible, and one hidden behind a mask. He did not speak up to anyone, but seemed very interested in what they were all doing. Erik--the little Satyr--was not a very social creature by nature.
