Care of egg:

~ Your egg will hatch into an adorable Spritkin on February 14th. What is a Spritkin you ask? It's a little puff of magic that likes to inhabit enchanted items. These candies have been carefully made to attract the puffs so you can give them to the ones you love (or keep em yourself XD). You may eat the candy after the puff hatches (otherwise it might not get enough magic out of the candy before it hatchs). These puffs will always be puffs, never growing any larger (as far as we know...) since they are tied to the magic of the holiday.

... a rather gloomy gray one by anyone's standards, I was feeling rather awkward and depressed. It was February and the light didn't seem to be shining as bright as it usually did, and after the long, gray, dim, FRIGID winter, I needed as much cheering as I could get, but just didn't feel motivated to sit anywhere but by the window, looking out over my frost-bitten garden and the river and the pool, closed for the winter. I was about to sigh and go nap on the couch under my favorite fuzzy blanket -- careworn now by the winter's use -- when I heard the doorbell's jingling chimes ringing through the house.

Energized by the sound, I bounded off the windowseat and slid down the banisters to answer the door. "Hello?" I called, opening it a crack and looking either way, curious and rather disappointed. No one was there -- but upon looking down, what should my wondering eyes meet but a small plate... and on it, two enlarged, sparkling heart-shaped pink candies that glittered with sugar. My mouth watered -- sugary candies? Valentine's Day was only a few days away; maybe I had a secret admirer?

It was then, bending down to check for signs of a card to go with them, that I spotted, no larger than a gumball or the last joint of my thumb, a tiny pink egg perched precariously atop the candies. My eyes lit up. "Maybe whatever's inside is alive," I said happily. Picking up the plate, I found a sheet of paper underneath. "It will hatch on Valentine's Day," I read off the paper, and chuckled. "Well, I suppose that answers my question... I suppose," I said to the egg, "I will see exactly what you are and what you'll do on February fourteenth, won't I?"

Sadira is still a young puff, and thus very hyper and mischievous. She's rather small, and her favorite mode of speech still consists of high-pitched, exuberant squealing of the 'piiiii!! Pipipipipiiiiiii!' type, thought she is learning to use her words. A typical day in her life includes knocking over my teacup at least once and hiding inside it until I panic and think I've eaten her in my sleep -- at which point she flocks out of hiding all squealing cuteness and sugary sweetness to snuggle behind my neck and scare the living daylights into me. In short, she's a lovable ball of peeping, squeaking energy!
