The tome before you belongs to Junyi and Ying. There is a seal surrounding the book, one that allows you to leaf through the pages but prevents you from adding anything. The enchantment is strong and cannot be broken so easily, if at all. So just sit back and enjoy the Tall Tale that is unfolding before you. You can visit the Stationery Store to find out how you can write your own Tall Tale.

It's not to say she's an evil genius; simply a mischievous one- so she'd say. She loves pranks and jokes, and is always devising new ways to pull a fast one on those around her.

She constantly strives for improvement; whether it is in her own life or in her environment. Altering objects, buildings, even HERSELF in the name of advancement. The road to perfection is often littered with the failures of its endeavors, just as Ying's actions (and inventions!) are often met with spectacular failures in the form of hurt feelings, broken toys, and sometimes, property damage.

As all things require improvement, so does the world. Ying's greatest dream is to one day make the world a perfect, utopian society... with her as the ruler, of course. Empress, Prime Minister, Conquistadora.

Despite her arguably megalomaniacal tendancies, Ying possesses a strong sense of honor and justice. She does everything in her power to keep from harming another person, although their property is another issue altogether. In the case of duels and great insults toward herself and those she protects, she may be moved to strike an armed apponent, however. In most cases, though, she doesn't get angry; she simply gets even.

She enjoys building, inventing, martial arts, reading, strategy games, and competetive sports. She speaks in dark green

Her older brother, Vilden, was a child prodigy, and she barely had enough empathic ability to get by. It was horribly frustrating going through life in her brother's shadow, but she always tried to look on the bright side of things. Her accomplishments may have been largely ignored, but she was still loved and protected by her parents and her brother, she knew how to get attention through being loud and obnoxious, and there was another world- Gaia- that supported many people like her and regard them as "disabled" or "mostly deaf".

When Vilden came to Gaia to study, Junyi was right there behind him, marveling at the sights, sounds, and people. After his education was complete, Vilden returned home to Neilan. Junyi didn't.

She has changed a lot then, emotionally. She still has flashes of her old self, where she will revert to old habits and return to her attention-seeking ways, but for the most part, she's become more quiet and withdrawn since the birth of her daughter, Luna. Part of it can be attributed to her finally settling down; the other part, her evergrowing self-doubt and angst over a life's worth of failures.

Still, she tries to continue looking on the bright side of things, and tries to keep smiling, even if her heart isn't in it. She speaks in steel blue.

Being half-Neilani, she is naturally empathic, and with telepathy from Yeu's side, she has quite a bit of mental ability.

A mental attack while she was still in the womb forced her mind to develop abnormally in order to protect itself, giving her unnatural empathic and telepathic abilities. Because of this diversion of mental resources, her speech capabilities are severely limited. It's unknown as to whether or not she'll ever speak normally, but with such strong empathy and telepathy, speech isn't quite a necessity.

Despite all this, she is happy and well-adjusted. She's kind, compassionate, and always wants to do good... even if she often makes mistakes along the way. She speaks in orchid.

Jokeph is extremely tall and imposing, highly acidic, shy and paranoid, and completely suspicious of everyone around him- except Luna. He worships the ground she crawls and drools on, and will do nearly anything for her.

Since his arrival the day before Luna was born, Jokeph has learned a lot. He's now capable of expressing himself through writing and sign language (which is interpreted by a very antsy Nightmare named Zohar), and his paranoia has been alleviated somewhat. As long as Luna is nearby and happy, Jokeph has nothing to fear except fear itself. Unfortunately for him, fear has the name "Ying". When he acts, it is in red. Zohar speaks in dark red.

Aido: Ying feels a little bad around Ai; it seems that whenever Ying's near her, she either hurts her feelings or does something to make herself look TOO selfish and bratty. crying

Vidya: Even though Vidya's a nice person, Ying is STILL jealous of her egg-finding abilities. stare
