Welcome to our part of the Charity/Quests forums! We're thrilled that you came in, just doing that is bringing us closer to our goals! This is just the post where our not-so-fancy banner is found, short explanation and a quick welcome....which is what just happened. So why not go on a bit further to see what the deal is about, hmm?

Why is it named Sweet as Candy?: Obbie was searching through the price lists for item information, extremely stumped about what to title the quest. She came upon the list of untradeables (candy and eastereggs and fell in love. Besides.....we ARE as sweet as candy.. ninja

The rules are very simple and are common sense. So this shouldn't be hard.

1. No advertising. No contests, lotteries, quests, items, nothing. If you have an offer on one the items either of us is questing for, please PM us. No, we will not bump your thread if you bump ours, so don't ask.***
2. While conversation is highly encouraged, keep it to a PG-13 rating, and no politics. Pixels and politics do not mix.
3. Absolutely no spamming. If you want to bump us, you can at least put the word "bump" in the post somewhere.
4. Keep quoting to a minimum, 2 at the most.
5. If you want us to add you to our affilates/enter the avatar contest/have a suggestion, question or complain, please PM [Puke Queen] with the information. It doesn't take more than an extra minute or two to put it into a PM, and it keeps our thread a bit cleaner.
6. If new circumstances arise, either of us hold the right to add or modify a rule.

***- This was not intended to come off as harsh or rude. All we ask is that you do not link your quest in our thread asking for a bump. We consider it illegal advertising and very inappropriate.

Since this thread seems to be one of those that never seem to want to leave, as there are many expensive items to be bought, it is only fair that you all know just a bit about me, no?

My personality: IRL I'm very energetic, sarcastic, and people say I'm funny. I just say what comes out of my head and heart. I don't have a certain clique, I get along with everyone, although there are an obvious circle of close friends that hang around in my homeroom before promenade is over. Online I have a tendency to ramble, am very patient, and try my best to be honest without offending people TOO much. I just try to have fun and get along with people.
What do I do: For a living at the moment I am just a student, although I applied for a job at the local Dairy Queen. Behind the scenes I am a novelist (trying to get published), and a Gaia-whore.
Future Career: After highschool I plan to become a teacher for elementary school children who are blind/visually impaired. I am quite fluent in braille, or at least I am working on it!

Most important question: Why am I questing for these items? It's sort of hard to explain....for most of my Gaian life, I thrived in the Avatar Talk subforum. But lately, the matching and the perfection that is becoming more demanding is a bit overwhelming. I love everyone in there and I love the art of the perfect avatar, but I realized how stressful it's making me. So, I decided to take a vacation from that forum and come here, for a few items that I would never use in any of my outfits, but I love nonetheless. Not only THAT, but I wanted to go out and meet new friends, something that is just as important as these items. Alot more, actually.

Well, that's enough information about me now. You don't have a reason to just bump and leave in this thread. Look at all the conversation starters!

4/2/05- Hey everyone! I've come back from the giveaway AND my AT home break and now I'm back into questing! How did the giveaway go? I think it went absolutely great! Afterwards I gave out the rest of the items and most of my gold, and then the NEW items came out.... gonk Anyway, I'll update some of these posts.....and my sister has left the quest. gonk

3/13/05-I haven't been on lately because I've been hanging out with my friend Corey...and going to the mall...and stuff. I got another CD, T.M. Revolution's Seventh Heaven. So I've been listening to that....and I have a family party to go to. gonk I've been getting a few items for the Easter Giveaway. I'll list what I am giving away in a few days.

3/10/05- I bought my Zombie G CORP Tshirt! Thank you to all the donators that helped me! heart heart I'll start saving up for the Emo Bag now....this should be fun.. gonk

3/09/05- I haven't been on for the past few days, as to the fact that I got Resident Evil 4 xd I am a RE whore, and normally would play RE over eating/sleeping/evenbeingongaia! eek Yes, this is true, and it makes me sad. Other than that, I watched Shaun of the Dead last night, which was great....OH! I lost the bid on the Tshirt, and the cheapest shirt on the marketplace is 30k gonk

3/7/05- I placed a bid for a Tshirt, I traded over a bunch of items from my other account, as I decided that this is to be my main one during my questing. Look, I'm showing skin! eek Let's see...my other account is selling a few things, please check out [Objurgation]'s store if you want to help me out! heart Oh, yesterday we hit page 20! xd AND!!! I bid on a jacked up cape, it is only 1k! EDIT: Bought cape for 2k after I sold something in my other store!

3/5/05 - Instead of bumping the thread today, I had some major bonding time with my older sister. She owed me money, so she bought me the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex O.S.T. I know, you can be jealous of me later. OH! And Angrod seems to be ready to do battle, I'm ready. xd Not only THIS, but later on in the evening, I got attacked by Sailor Moon bumps, added a new link picture, and a certain Ports quester (with her beautiful bump pictures) inspired me to start making a few bump pictures. 3nodding What a great day.

3/4/05- Last night, Cassandra and I invented GUMPs (check out page 11 I believe for the definition). I got almost 1k donated to me through several charities ( heart ), and....Angrod decided to tickle me to near death this morning, only to slip ice down my back as I exited. b*****d. xd

3/3/05- I reached 1k for my Z G.Corp T! And I made a friend! -luffles Vitae- And....oh yes....10 p4g3s!!!!11eleven!! xd

3/2/05- I realized a lot of people like my avatar! I'll never reveal my true secret, so don't ask. ninja

3/1/05 Cass and I got into an ebonics argument about her mom and my sister. xd We reached 7 pages! eek

2/28/05- Opened the thread! We only got one other bumper that day, but that's alright, we're a new quest!
