Welcome to the Gaia Minishop Association! The purpose of the GMA is to provide a reliable and comprehensive guide through the mini shop forums, to help costumers, as well as shop owners. We don't want to limit ourselves to the mini shops main forum, but also want to involve the breedables subforum and the request & comissions subforum.

The GMA is to provide not only a list of the established shops in the Mini Shop Forum, but also to give a preview on what’s inside. We want to include samples and price range for each shop listed. We hope to make browsing through the shops easier that way.

Artwork (in general): Shops in this category sell art. In general. They do not limit themselves to selling only one type of artwork (meaning more types than 3 other categories), or are selling other artwork than listed. Please not that Bump signs go into Tags & Banners.

Avatar Art: Shops in this category sell Artwork of Gaia Avatars.

Dolls: Shops in this category sell pixel dolls.

Signatures: Shops in this category sell graphics meant for your signature. These graphics are no bigger than 500x500 pixels and 100kb in size and are thus within the TOS.

Avatar Edits: Shops in this category sell graphics that are edits of Gaia avatars.

Wishlist: Shops in this category sell Wishlists.

Tags & Banners: Shops in this category sell all sort of tags, bump signs, blinkies, fancy made text, banners and so on.

Collectables: Shops in this category sell all sorts of graphics that can be collected. That can be - but is not limited to - all sorts of food, weapons items, etc.

Adoptables & Pets: Shops in this category sell graphics of some sort of creature. They may also sell accesoirs and the like for pets (adoptables).

Interactive Pets: Shops in this category sell pets you can interact with (that includes - but is not limited to - feedables, huggables, and pets that gain experience via interaction).

Breedables: Shops in this category sell pets that can evolve.

Breedables (RP intensive): Shops in this category sell pets that evolve and require a significant amount of role-playing in order to evolve.

The GMA is supposed to be loose bound between established minishops and give both shop owners and customers a listing of many shops in the minishops forum.

We don't intend to replace already existing shop listings, we want to make a listing that does not only provide shop names and maybe their category, but also give samples and a price range.

There are plans to form a guild for the GMA, to have features like a rate & review thread for each shop listed and much more. The main Shoplisting will remain directly in the minishops forum, so that everyone can find it easily.

Help is always appreciated. There are several ways to help the GMA:
- Report broken links in the shop listing
- Donate to the GMA (purpose => forming a guild)
- Link to us (scroll down, there are several banners you can use)
- Point out mistakes

Add G.M.A. to your friend list to subscribe to the GMA mailing list ^.^ (don't worry only important news and updates will be posted over the mailing list; we don't intend to spam your inbox ^^)

- Those who can read are here in this case - as well as in general - better off (note a rule, but a fact to consider)

1.) Only the shop owner can submit a shop.
2.) Your shop has to be at least one month old and has to have more than 20 pages. If you just set up a new thread for an old shop, but the actual shop is identical (save a few minor changes) please include the url to the shop.
3.) You cannot submit your shop to more than 3 categories
4.) Keep your banners and samples at reasonable filesize. No .bmps (Bitmaps) at all.
5.) You have to put the GMA banner in your shop (see xth post for banners)
6.) Your shop has to follow the TOS & Mini Shop Rules & regulations
7.) You have to fill out the submission form (see below), and have to fill out all required fields and post it in this thread.
8.) You have to notice GMA if your shops get closed or deleted. We don't want to list broken links
9.) You have to host the banners and samples yourself. If you fear you will get trouble with the bandwidth use an image host with unlimited bandwidth (like www.imageshack.us ).
10.) When chosing the category of your shop please chose an already existing category (!).
11.) Please use the auction form for auctions (not up, yet - feature is still WIP, sorry).

(I know it looks rather intimidating, but believe me, it's really simple ^.^)

Do not(!) remove the "Name of shop", "Owner", etc. in front of the information you fill in! (feel free to delete something if you don't fill in information)

[b]Name of shop:[/b] Fill in the name of your shop (required)
[b]Owner:[/b] Name of the owner (this is you ;) )
[b]URL:[/b] the url of your shop (required)
[b]Banner:[/b] A banner to your shop, should not be bigger than 250x100 Pixels (can be a bit more, just make it resasonable in size)
[b]Shop Category:[/b] The first and foremost category the shop would fit in (chose from the categories already existing!). (required)
[b]Description:[/b] describe your shop. (required)
[b]Sample image:[/b] The url to a sample image of what you sell in your shop, should not be bigger than 500x250 pixels (can be a bit more, just make it resasonable in size, thumbnails are ok.). (required, unless you are selling bumping & advertising services)
[b]Price range:[/b] How much your products cost.
[b]Secondary Shop Category:[/b] Another category your shop fits into (optinal, if the next three lines are not filled out this will be listed as "also selling" in the main category and will not be listed in this category)
[b]Description:[/b] (required when Secondary shop category is filled out, otherwise it will be listed as "also selling" in your main category)
[b]Sample image:[/b] The url to a sample image of your second category products. Mustn't be identical with the first sample. (required when Secondary shop category is filled out, otherwise it will be listed as "also selling" in your main category)
[b]Price range:[/b] see above (required when Secondary shop category is filled out, otherwise it will be listed as "also selling" in your main category)
[b]Further Shop Category:[/b] s.a. (optional)
[b]Description:[/b] s.a. (required when further shop category is filled out, otherwise it will be listed as "also selling" in your main category)
[b]Sample image:[/b] s.a. (required when further shop category is filled out, otherwise it will be listed as "also selling" in your main category)
[b]Price range:[/b] s.a.

[b]Rate & Review Feature:[/b] Yes or no. If yes please fill out the addition form. To find out more about the system, please refere to the next post.

Rate & Review Feature Form (optional):

[b]Banner/Name:[/b] (whatever you want at [Your Shop Name or Banner] in the sample)
[b]Button Style:[/b]

You will be PMed once your shop got added to the shoplist. We reserve the right to change the category/ies.

If you - for example - sell avatar art (and only avatar art) and submit to "Artwork" and "Avatar Art" your shop will only be listed in "Avatar Art".

Updating Information:

If you ever feel the information to your shop are out of date, send us an updated submission form by posting it to this thread, or PM G.M.A.

When you add the feature to your shop your customers will be able to rate and review your shop in a thread made especially made for that purpose.

We want to set the main aspect of the R&R system on actual reviews. The number of actual reviews given to your shop will be displayed in the shop listing (if any).

Once the thread is set up for you you can link to it via a button in your shop (you will be PMed).

The following buttons are available at this time:

Button 1:

- Feb 28th 205 - due to a very generous donation by Murderous heart we will be able to create a guild. We hope to have the guild up and running in the next several days.

Suggestions: Can I suggest a shop of the week or something like that in the front to showcase shops in your listings with good reviews.
I'd also like to see the first page without it stretching on me. sweatdrop
