First post on page 400 gets a sealed letter

As some of you may know, back in december I took a few months leave from gaia. But now, untill I go back to work, I'm back smile .. and while i may not be here long. I want to spend my time in the charity forum like I used to. Unfortunately alot of my friends have moved on, but luckily some are still around ^^ And I want to thank the insane people who got me a Jack shirt while I was 'absent' .

Anyway, *This* is the brand-spanking-new Shooting Stars Charity, it's now open,so feel free to chat and so on. The only thing I ask is that you abide by the rules xp

It has been named this, because I and alot of people miss the original SSC, although I am the only co-owner left and it wont be exactly like it used to, I still wanted to re-open it. If Anyone has any problem with me naming the charity such PM me. Do not post in the thread, because I refuse to argue in public.

These are the rules of teh 2nd.. or 3rd.. I onno most glorious charity that possibly will ever exist from this time forward. .

General Charity Rules

Rule #1: Be polite. If you are not polite no one will like you and you will die miserable and alone, with no one to comfort you but a small yippy pomeranian with halitosis. That's what happens to rude people. My mommy told me that a long time ago. Oh yeah and the more rude you get the better the chance of ending up BLACKLISTED (dun dun dun).

Rule #2: No being an attention/sympathy/pity whore. So your dog died/girlfriend left you for a carnie/you fell asleep in acid. Boohoo. I'm sorry, I really am, acid hurts like a mother. I don't mind seeing someone post about that. It's sad. However, if you make yourself a sympathyslut I will probably hunt you down and rip out your lungs. Don't come in here and say, "*walks in and sits in a dark corner*". This seems to be a favorite entry for some. Newsflash: This charity has no dark corners. THAT'S RIGHT, LAMPS EVERYWHERE. If you want attention THAT badly the chatterbox is full of people to accomodate your needs.

Rule #3: Do not ever and by ever I mean EVER (as in at no point during the course of your existence) PM/IM beg anyone in this thread looking for a donation. If you want a donation follow through the steps listed here. If you want to be blacklisted and have your heart torn out by ravenous venereal beasts, PM/IM beg one of us without previously being given permission.

Rule #4: Please do not spam/flame/advertise in the thread. Don't get me wrong, we love a good bump in here. It's nice and wonderful and peachy and it warms the cockles (don't get ideas rae *cough*) of our cumulative hearts. 40 bumps in a row are a tad annoying though. Stop and talk, chit chat, spout random useless philosophy if you like but NO SPAMMING. Oh and as for advertising, regulars are exempt from that part of the rule as they have proven to us to not just be leeches on the moral fabric of society.

Rule #5: Don't pee in the charity. I'm looking at you Chino.

Rule #6: Read the rules.

Rule #1: You must have at least 500 posts

Rule #2: You must have a quest thread with at least 15 pages

Rule #3: Please include a link to your quest thread in your request.

Rule #4: You must have a good portion of your quest completed
-If it's a 2003 item (donation letters/jacked items/easter items), you must have at least 40% saved up already
-If it's any other item you must have at least 15% saved up already

Rule #5: For my personal entertainment and the entertainment of my co-owners all requests must include a sentence about giraffes and domos.

Rule #6: And last but not least. As part of our politeness rule I would ask that you thank my fellow chariters when they send you a donation. I know these guys quite well and for the people they are, a thanks is very little indeed.
