Well... here's the shortened version. The whole thing is long and complicated, and would take up too much of your time.
Once upon a time, there was a Mage. He had a daughter, who loved to Bake. But she was lonely, and so... he took some of the food she had made, and set it on a window sill, and in the forest.
The food that had been left on a window sill attracted a seagull, which the Mage caught.
The food that was left in the forest attracted a sow, which the mage also caught.
He enchanted these creatures, and they took on aspects of the food they had eaten.

Five hundred years later, Nova came across his book of spells in her loft... and had an idea...

Stages





Stage one - Slice of Pizza

It's a slice of Pizza. Yeah. It sits there. It doesn't do anything. Don't eat it.

Stage two - Animal

An animal has been attracted to your slice of pizza. You need to take care of it. It can't talk yet, but it is perfectly capable of making mischeif...

Stage three - Anthromorph

Your pet can now talk, and breed, and stoof! They often begin projects at this stage, and show their intrests.
