Its true that we can't as a whole define or clear the line between good and evil, but wouldn't we have, at some point, had the same or close to the same moral compass? Say at the begining of human conciousness? What changed then? Was it simply population size or something more? I'm a firm believer that we were meant to have the line between good and evil blurred, I think of it as a way to bettering oneself. I don't really believe in a particular god or many gods, but I do believe that we did not become what we are as humans simply on science alone. In which case, what could there possibly be that could be wise enough to know the whole truth of these two conflicting ideals?
