Lenta, looking rankled and tired, opens the door to the Jivvin Center. Her Jivvin, Fenwrit, slips past her and heads inside, his tail held high. Rolling her eyes, Lenta seats herself by the doorway, rubbing the bridge of her nose with her fingertips. The sounds of Jivvins, both young and old, playing and working, rang in her ears. It was like this everyday... She'd bring Fen to the Center, and sit and wait, until he got bored and they made their way back to the House. Usually, he'd end up being chased out... Fen wasn't known for being the most polite or good-natured, after all.
Plopping next to her was a rather familiar ninja, whom looked at her with kind eyes. "Hey, what's the trouble..? You look so down."
"I'm not sure, to be truthful... Things've just been stressful, y'know?" Lenta answered, not bothering to look over at her companion. She knew who it was, just by her voice. After all, Kanth was just as much of a Center frequenter as she was. "Fen's new sprite isn't helping any, either... I swear, if those two got ahold of anything sharp, we'd all be in for a rough ride." A crash could be heard in the background, and Fenwrit darted out, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Lenta grumbled, crossing her arms.
"Just wish he'd calm down."
"Ahhh. Aisha hasn't helped at all? I gave her a few pointers, but she has her own way of doing things. A mind of her own, that one." Digging into her pouch, she took something out and held it in front of Lenta's face.
"This kind of bread is good for you. It'll help calm you down; I put some 'tamer tea in it." A smile.
"Tamer tea..." Lenta blinked, then nodded in thanks, taking the bread from the ninja-woman. She bit a chunk out of it, chewing thoroughly before swallowing, and sighed happily as her muscles unbunched themselves. Grinning widely, Lenta polished the whole piece of bread off, leaning back in her chair with a look of pleasure. "Mmm... good stuff. Thanks."
Kanth grinned. "I'm glad you like it." Turning her gaze back to the black jivvin, the ninja tilted her head a small bit.
"Have you ever thought... of getting another jivvin?"
"All the time..." Lenta laughed softly, her eyes locked on Fenwrit. The mischievious magelet was now huddled in the corner, whispering secretively to his little sprite, Tak. "I love Fen and all, but it'd be nice to have a calm kid in the house. One who's not always trying to tie your shoelaces together and putting baking soda in the toilet water."
"Amen to that." Leaning back, Kanth's eyes flashed mischeviously as she glanced at Lenta. There was an idea brimming in that skull of hers. "Why don't... we quest for another jivvin? Two, one for each of us..."
"A quest?" Lenta lifted her head, her eyes sparkling. Then, she shrugged, trying to act as nonplussed as possible. "Sure, alright. I s'pose we could bother Moo until she set up a custom auction..." A cheeky grin crossed her lips.
"You first, because someone needs to control that Fenwrit." Kanth gave a smirk. "Is it a deal?" She put her hand out to shake on it with Lenta.
Lenta took Kanth's hand, shaking it firmly. "Alright! And we'll doubletime it for your half, once we've gotten an alter ego for Fen." She laughed.
