Rai chuckled. "Lex tore most of the flowers out of my yard. Hates 'em. Not sure why," she said, glancing at the tiny bare patches where stems used to inhabit.

Lex rolled his eyes and pushed the radio towards her. He decided to stop trying to interpret to her what he was saying. "Mussic," he said, putting his hands in his lap. Maybe she'd get it.

Junketsu smiled and again went to pressing all of the button, the music was changing as was the sound level, and even the languages. "my mosic!"

"Nope," she said, and laughed. "Akilah, the chicken element toddler - she has quite an influence on him. And she hates flowers, so...well, you get it."

Lex smiled and nodded. Getting an idea, he quickly crawled back to the step in front of his door, picking up a little plastic guitar and dragging it back. He plucked a string and grinned proudly as it produced a high pitched tune. "Gurrar," he said, and offered it to her.

"Oh, that explains it! My Junketsu also met Akilah, however the two didn't go near the bed of flowers. Not yet at least."

Junketsu took the guitar, but she was unable to hold it. Instead she left it on the ground and began to sort of pound on it, only hitting some notes here and there. All in all it eally was not a very pleasing noise. "Boom!"

"Well that's good, or you wouldn't have a flower bed anymore," Rai said with a laugh.

Lex frowned slightly, watching her bang on the guitar. "Try," he said after some effort, and scooted the guitar towards him, plucking a string. He pushed it back towards her again, offering for her to try it.

Junketsu took the guitar back and this time tried plucking the string. The sound resulting was far nicer than her banging on the instrument.

7.28.05 So, I've had a little trouble with my journal lately. Whatever I type disappears. -_-' Oh well.

Anyways, I'm back from Russia! Lex and I had a GREAT time. Right now we're at the beach, and I gotta tell ya, he LOVES the sand, absolutely LOVES it. He was picking up shells and making sandcastles...it was adorable. I even got some pictures of him, even though he's scowling in all of them. But oh well. n_n

Well, anywho, Lex has become obsessed with listening to my music. I have a bunch of Led Zeppelin, Beatles, and Rolling Stones CDs that he's always stealing from him. I once had to shout at him about asking first. He felt really bad, but it had to be done!

He got to see my cousin Avery and my friend Laura who both thought he was the CUTEST. But I'll talk about that later. Write back soon when the journal is working and I can find the journal image for this entry. x_x'

8.01.05 So, I showed Lex my dad's red Fender ((a guitar, for those who don't know)), and he was AMAZED when I plugged it into the amp and strummed just E minor and D6 chords. It was funny to watch. He wanted to play it too, but his little fingers couldn't push the metal strings down hard enough. Maybe I could buy him an accoustic with nylon strings when he's older so he can learn from his mom. biggrin I could teach him Stairway To Heaven!

His rock training will soon begin. w00t.
