Yeah, this post is for the soon-to-be Chinbin breedables shop.

I'm reserving a few posts. There'll be a coloring contest and whatnot coming up soon, maybe a poll... Anyway, stick around, I can make it worth your while. ninja I'll also probably be putting snippets in and brainstorming in some of my less needed posts. They may be boring, so if you slip away into a coma reading them, I did warn you. heart

And yes, I only need one more position filled, and that is the event manager, and Mondai is bad at coming up with special events. That's all you'd hafta do is come up with some fun crap for the RP chins an owners to do now and then! And you'd get paid either per event or per chinchilla sold, whichever you choose I can manage.
Squee, reserved post number one. 3nodding To be for quick updates and such so they're not hard to find.
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v703/chinbin/Sidebar2.jpg" align=left>Positions to be filled:

Assistant manager (Must be able to function without me, but to my liking)
Event Manager (To organize shop events and whatnot)
Activity Managers (a few, check the RP-intensive journals)
Colorists (a few full-times and a few guests, must give samples)

Details:

Assistant manager applicants can raise their chances of gaining the position if they have worked/presently work in any shop(s) I know of, or if I personally know them. This position must be filled because, from time to time, I have been known to be banned from computer and internet alike by my parents due to failing grades. In the event that this happen, I don't want the shop to break down.

The event manager, as stated above, will be in charge of helping out with special events, like scavanger hunts or roleplay activities. References of other shops you work/have worked at would increase your chances of filling this position.

Activity managers will be in charge of making sure people are active. They will be given a short list of journals to check once every few weeks to report back to me, because if there is a lack of activity, I reserve the right to take their Chins away. Again, as before, references of past/current breedable shops you've worked in will increase your chances.

Colorists should be self-explanatory. All entrants must be willing to color at least one adolescent female. Full-time colorists must be willing to submit one set every month or two, and part-time can do whatever they'd like, though one submission a year would be appreciated.
Lineart can be found [here]. The finished product should in fact be about 50% this size.

Pay:

The assistant and event managers will probably recieve 10%, respectively, of the payment for all Chins sold, and activity managers will have the remaining 20% divided between them. Colorists, however, will likely recieve 50% payment of chins they, personally, colored. This will be negotiated further when the entire staff is present. All staff is given the right to own at least one chinchilla of their choosing.

Good luck, everybody!
Event Manager Applications:

Mimiru_13
Hello, I am Akki Frost, username Mimiru_13. I am in charge of Foxx Kitz, a really new shop, and I help out at Kozy Kittehz, owned by Duo Maxewell. I have lots of experience with special events ((at Foxx Kitz, we just got done with an RP flatsale, a regular flatsale is going on now, and we are having an Easter auction.)) and I luff people ((unless I am sick, then they should leave me alone for about 5 minutes tops))

Assistant Manager Applications:

Shiroi Mikomi
Hi, I'm Shiroi. I'd like the position of Assistant Manager for the Chinbin because I'm on the computer constantly. I also have stalked the Breedables forum long enough to know what is needed to manage a shop. I'm also very interested in the general idea for your shop (I used to have a chinchilla ^^) Although you don't know me very well, I'd be glad to hang around the thread so that you can get to know me. whee

Activity Manager Applications:

Sky Princess
Hi! I'm Sky Princess, but you can call me Sky or SP for short. I would like to apply for the position of Activity Manager as I think it would be fun and interesting to read about the different rp by different owners. I have not work in breedable shops before although I been stalking a few shops there. If you need anymore details about me, I'll post/pm more about myself upon request ^_^. Thanks for spending the time to read my application.

madison_8
Hi, I'm Madison and I want to apply for the position of activity manager. I want this job because I really like pets and I enjoy rp. I'm on the computer everyday except sometimes on trip. I think that this responsiblity is not as much as the other jobs, and I think I'm going to be good at it...
ya.... that's it I think - work - [X]

cherrysakura
Hi, I'm cherrysakura. You can call me Cherry for short or Sakura. I'd like to apply for the job as an Activity Manager. I've never worked in a breedables shop before but I know how things work in a shop like that and such. I'm almost always on the computer except for when I'm at school and when I'm out of the house. I enjoy rp, it would be fun and I think it would be neat if I got this job.

Tatsuachi
I'm tatsuachi, tat for short and I would like to apply for the Activity manager position.I am on every day (unless I get grounded) usually up tol 2:00 am on weekends... and I rp usually everyother day...(i love it) This would be a chance for me to earn some gold for my quest, becuase my shop is not going very well....I have only had one customer so far... anyways thanks for taking your time reading this...

Advertisers - Free to enter, limited amount accepted.
Donators - Donations in gold preffered, all will be rewarded.

More Info:

Advertisers - A limited amount of people will be chosen for this. Only by filling out the form found in the next post may one be eligible to win a free partially-custom Chinchilla, with name, gender, and starting stage of their choice. At this time, I'm not sure how many people will be able to win, or how picky I am going to be about it, but the only thing required is that it be in their signature and linked. All entrants must RP their chins, unless special permission is granted otherwise.

Donators - Quite simply, this shop WILL need a guild, and this guild will need to be payed for, costing 10,000 gold. I will probably close this when I have recieved that much gold in donations or items that can be, at least somewhat easily, sold for the amount needed. (Thusly, item donations will be taken at the lower GEN value.)
1000 - Color, name, gender, and stage of your choice, within reason. Wild, must be RP'd.
2000 - Same as above, except that it can be tame (non-RP-required).
3000 - Whatever derned color scheme or pattern you want! Otherwise same as 1k.
4000 - Same as above, except it can be pet-stock (tame).

Honestly, I'm not picky about this. If you're unsure, ask me and I'll let you know.

Hurry and get entries in... I could be closing this at any point in time.

Response to prompt here...

The prompt: A pack of coyote has been lingering near the entrance of the crevice your herd uses as a burrow, and you have not gotten the chance to go out and feed. Suddenly, they cannot be heard, smelled, or seen from within, and you must take the chance to go out and feed first. or risk their return.

Chii, the Mascot:
*mini shrine dedication to Mondai's chin*:

This is the chin that started it all: Chii, the piebald (standard) Chinchilla owned by the real-life version of Mondai Senshi. Her antics continue to amaze me, though she has become slightly anti-social. With a rough-built cage made of a Hav-A-Hart cage laying on its side, with metal shelving, a UFO wheel, and other more modest miscelanious toys and gadgets. She doesn't get a bath as much as she should, and she may get a bit more snacks than are healthy for her, but she gets by alright.

post 15)
Plaques:

Well, this is actually more for dedications and copyrights (if it comes to that). And I'm too lazy to work this out at the moment.

post 9)
Rec. Room:

As you push the door open, you gaze at an empty room almost like a school gymnasium, with a set of bleachers stored against a wall, with high ceilings and blank walls, a row of windows lining the ceiling. There must not be many events about now...

post 10)
Trophy Cabinet:

A simple wooden trophy cabinet stands near the front door. The shelves and hardware are all new, the steel catching the sunlight, but there are no trophies. A small sign stands, instead, in the center. It reads, "These shelves are reserved for any trophies won in competitions held by the Chinbin shop."

Giftshop:

To tell you the truth, there probably won't be anything here for a while, 'cause Mondai was always slow at making items... Ah, well, maybe some day...

Post cool
The Directory:

You notice a small book on the front desk, almost like a phone book except for the size. When you open the cover you see countless ads of various sizes sprawling across the pages. Beside it are several business cards, a full image on the front with contact information on the back.

post 5)
Cages:

The pine wood smell grows stronger as you pass into the room lined with cages. Still you see very few chinchillas. Those you do see seem almost lethargic, or half asleep.
"You did know chinchillas were nocturnal, didn't you?" The manager grins as the light shines in the windows from the bright sun. "Most of them are in their sleeping boxes."
You suddenly notice a small section in each cage closed off, with one or two holes big enough for the chinchillas to fit through, in each. You decide you had better leave them be for the time.

post 6)
Runs:

Here you notice a rather odd arrangement, with several cages containing a chin each with a collar, and every three to five cages connected. In each of these series of attatched cages, there is one chinchilla with no collar, often laying close to one of the collared. You look to the shop manager for an explanation.
"These are runs," he begins wearily. "Each of these chins with collars are females, and the collars tend to ensure that they stay in their section. The ones without collars are the males. This arrangement is mainly for chinchilla breeding, but we've also used it to familiarize unfriendly chinchillas on a rare occasion."

Calendar:

There are no dates marked in the calendar, though a note is pinned beside it telling that the first flatsale should be soon.

Rules:

1. Be polite and considerate.
2. Asking for things is alright if you post in the thread. Don't PM my staff unless they say you can do otherwise.
3. If directed to stop asking for something, as likely would only happen if you were spamming, STOP.
4. Prices are non-negotiable.
5. Pet trade requests are allowed, as long as the pet was not drawn or colored in MS paint.
6. We cannot be held responsible for what happens to chins in the reserve if not cared for (and RP'd) by their owner(s).
7. As implied above, dual ownership is allowed, though not preffered.
8. If you feel you can no longer care for your chin, we are willing to resell them for 80% of what you payed, which you get entirely.
9. If breeding pairs cannot decide the fate of newborn chins, the stress may cause the mother to injure or abandon a newborn.
10. I (Mondai) have final say. I'm allowed to bend rules. Get over it.

Post 4)
The Reserve:

As you step outside, the pine smell fades from your nostrils as you see a rocky, almost dessert-like terrain, with a sparce array of cacti and other fauna that are uncommon in the region, to say the least. As you step foreward, you see a sudden motion in a hole between two large rocks. You peer inside, then are startled to see a chinchilla, rushing the other direction, pause and gaze at you. It then turns to leave as quickly as it came. Suddenly, another chinchilla appears on the top of one of the boulders. You only revel in their fearless interest in you.
"Their owners all come by to see them now and then, so it's no wonder they're so friendly." The manager had returned. "Still, I'd be careful, they tend to wind up underfoot."
...
Okay, twelve, I'm cutting the red tape here. heart

You walk into a room smelling, faintly but distinctly, of pine. Every so often you hear the sound of metal and wood clashing. As you step towards the front desk, a door cracks open a little to the side. A tall man with a dark complexion steps into the room, wearing black and red clothes. As he begins to speak, his deep red eyes pour endlessly into you.
"Hello, there," he says, blinking slightly as if startled by your arrival. "I'm glad we have company. Please make yourself at home. I'm sorry if it's a bit crowded in here, we're trying to raise money for a new location." His blank expression warms as he grins. "Or would you like to see our chinchillas?
"The runs are all through this door, and the reserve is out the side, there. Unfortunately, we never can keep the fences properly maintained, so there may be some unfriendly beasts out there as well. So would you like to have a look around?"
