Drelve and Dravano wandered aimlessly throught the streets of Barton town. Neither of them had been in town for a long time. In their line of work, they couldn't afford to stay in the same place for too long. They live by the shadows, and after bedding with the women they blew out of towns like dust in the wind. Never had they been able to get a moments rest since the life of thieves began.

They had recently scored big in a distant city, far in the East. But had become victims to thieves themselves. All they had left was some gold they had stashed away, and the clothes on their backs. They would be looking for work, and perhaps start a guild of theives. But for now, they were looking to bed down because Drelve couldn't stay in the sun for to long.

Maia wandered down a dark street, casting wary eyes around her. Her short, straight black hair was messy, and her dark brown eyes were tired-looking. She sighed, and glanced up, then frowned. She walked up to the little group of figures ahead of her, and stood without speaking. She felt awkward.
