Welcome to The Art of Sorrow Quest!!! ^_^ This quest started 2 months ago..but I was not sure when it was appropriate to make a quest thread...and I think the moment has arrived. I know it's a lot of items, and a lot of gold, but I know it's a possible quest..it is a long term quest after all. I dont think I will be questing anymore after this quest...since I have included here all the items I really desire.
Introduction
The picture of the Ankh with the quote above represents the main motif by which we, The Art of Sorrow (an Emo/Metal/Goth band...did my best to approximate our style.. sweatdrop ) live, compose music, and write songs. If you understand that the egyptian ankh means "life" or "eternal life," you should be able to figure out why the symbol of our band, an ankh, is a perfect match to our "motif quote.":3 I am the lead guitarrist, and I have decided to host this contest and my quest in the name of The Art of Sorrow, to share with people our perspective of life, and give everyone a good topic to ponder about. So whether you come here to donate, bump, join the contest, or just to chat...thank you for your support!
Guess A Quote Music Contest!!!
I am tired of finding "bumping contests" or "best donator gets a prize" kind of thing...this time I want to make a different contest...focused on music.
Here is how it works:
Entering price is 500g, refer to Constest Rules below for entering information. On this first post, I will be posting a quote from a song (Note: Genre will always be focused on Rock, Metal, Goth, Punk, Emo, and Alternative) Whoever is the first to post:
1. Name of the artist only-will receive 5 points
2. Name of the song only-will receive 10 points
3. Name of the song and artist in one post-will receive 15 points
Once someone gets the answer, the quote will be renewed. Points are cumulative. I will keep track of your points on the contestants list, once you have entered the contest. The contest will end when my quest is over. At that time, the winner will receive his/her prize
Prize
Whoever has more points at the end of the contest will be considered the winner, and thus receive the prize...it will either be gold (over 30k, that I promise) or some item, I have not decided yet.
Contest Rules
1.To enter the contest, you must send trade titled "Guess A Quote Music Contest" with 500g to my account, Dark_Leafar, so that I can include you on the list. If you dont title the trade as specified, your trade will be considered a donation.
2.Whoever gives an answer or attempts to participate without being in the contestants list will be blacklisted.
3.All answers must be posted on this thread, do not PM me with an answer, you will be disqualified.
4.Only the first post to appear on the thread with the answer will receive points. Once I declare that someone has received points, the rest of the posts will not receive points. It doesn't matter if the first post said the name of the artist only and you said the name of the song afterwards. I repeat, you will not receive any points.
5. If you have the wrong answer, or just half the answer right, you will not receive any points. Once you got a wrong answer, you can no longer participate until the quote is renewed.
6.To kill the curiosity, I will post the complete correct answer after the first post with an incomplete answer (as in an answer with only the name of the song or artist) is on the thread.
