Though in reality all variations are E-mice, there are two main types. The more plentiful are the normal variety of E-mouse, typically called just Regulars. There is a more evil, darker Demonic version. Mintaka has taken to calling them Typos when they really bother her, as they have a bad penchant for getting into/causing trouble - not their official name though. Below you will find information specific to both, although they will have certain areas that are the same -- each discusses their lives, etc.

Regulars</center>
<center>

</center>
Regular E-mice are 5-6 inches long in their "dormant egg" stage, where they resemble a normal computer mouse. However, don't be fooled; there is sentient life in there. At this stage they love to be pet, stroked and held, giving them love and encouraging to take the next step forward in evolution. They are somewhat delicate at this stage and can feel pain, so be careful! They can propel themselves somewhat via a telekinesis at this stage, but they will grow tired from too much movement after awhile. They cannot communicate at all, though you might swear you hear squeaking.

</center>
Anywhere from a few days to two weeks may pass before the E-mouse evolves almost magically into the child stage in a flurry of light. The child that evolves from the egg will bear some respemblence to that egg, although the children are often less colorful then they will be as adults [lacking definition/seperate colors in their stomachs and on their paws mostly that will appear in adulthood -- occasionaly really complex patterns will also not manifest until they mature]. This helps protect the child somewhat, and also differentiate the younger from the older. They are still young and learning, impressionable, and highly curious. They will begin to try to communicate, making both noices much like a machine/computer would, and also beginning to grasp words. Remember, they're still learning. Their instinct is to survive, and their Assistant [[see below]] is there to help them. Think of it like feeding information into an empty database - you do have to direct it somewhat and give it things, in order to spit something back -- for those who know technology. [[After all, we have to put in the post, for Gaia to display it, no? That is a database at work, too.]]
<center>

</center>
Two weeks to a month later, they will undergo one last transformation, in a dazzle of light and sound, to adulthood. They will gain all their final traits and abilities, and be on their final paths to developing. They will have a decent grasp fo language by this point generally, at least enough to understand you and attemtp to communicate back. They are intelligent [generally, there are a few exceptions] and catch onto things fairly quickly. They have grown adn learned, shedding innocence for a thirst for knowledge at this point. Anything technological attacts them, especially if it's shiny and makes noise - moreso as adults then as a kid. They're rational, calculating, enjoyable... at this point they can be almost anything, although most regulars are better tempered and rarely bitter and hateful. They love to learn, and they still love to play.

Demonics</center>
<center>

</center>
Demonics share the same growth traits roughtly as their regular breathering with some differences. They are slightly more durable, and far mroe vindictive and cruel. In their egg stages they still love to be stroked and pet, although not really cooed over.
<center>

</center>
After they become a child [same timeframes] they're darker temperments begin showing, especially with their more malicious habits. They love to tamper with things, and generally cause problems. Still, they're often not always directly seeking it, it's just a habit. Aside these habits they're much like the regulars, with slightly more cuning and wit.
<center>

</center>
As adults they truly show their darkness, seeking new and interesting ploys to be problematic - to everyone else! They tend to eb very loyal to masters, although not above an occasional trick or ploy on them. They are justas thirsty for knowledge, if not moreso to use it for evil intent. They will torment regulars horribly sometimes, although they have been known to love and breed with them as well - it varies between individuals.

General Notes</center>
E-mice live on scrap electronics, metals, and energy/electricity, although there are some rumors of rare ones which subsist on other things. These are being looked into. Regulars generally will not just chew up a power cord and will wait on their owners to give them something. Demonics may, if they feel like it, chew up something vital if not given a good supply of food - or are really angry and vengeful on the owner of the object. Generally though they will not wantonly eat, and look to their masters first. [Aside wild ones, which should be obvious.]
They like nice, cozy room-temperature, much like most computers and sensitive electronics. They are, after all, in a way much like the machines in a bioform. If badly injured, they will bleed a black, oil-like substance that smells very much like burnt electronics. They do have a healing factor which prevents accidental death [from, say, falling off that high shelf they ahd to investigate...], though they are not
immune to death or malnourishment. [[AKA fight death should not happen/godmod failsafe. No one dies unless I say so. Aside, living among what they do, they'd need the protection.]] Malnourishment includes a lack of energy or technoparts - if only feeding electricity, or only computer parts/metal, they will survive just fine without the other. They do not require both, but a balanced diet always helps. Some may have preferences for all we know.
xd They don't require much food, thankfully.
There should be no fear of one getting wet, even one existing only on electric current for food - they won't short out or anything. They are bioforms with a techno bent to them, not actual machines. They're boggling little critters, but I've seen Lyric willingly dive into water. She scared me witless when she did, but it turned out okay -- so you're all clear to bathe them, which is a good idea anyway.
xd I figured I'd best mention this with all the talk of electronics and electicity flying around.
Height/Length guide:
Regular [male/female]:
Egg: 5-6" long || Child: 1-1.5' tall || Adult: 2-3' tall on hind legs.
Demonic [male/female]:
Egg: 6-7" long || Child: 1-1.75' tall || Adult: 2.5-4' tall on hind legs.
Yes, the demonics are bigger. They're also
rarer, outnumbered by about 3 to 1 in the wild [Or, approximately 1 out of 4 will be a demonic generally, no more then usually half at the "worst".]
