Thread started to collect information on this problem, only known workaround at this time is this:
January 30th, 2005
Its been rather decided to be a Norton Internet Securities / Symantic Client Firewalls, going to work on another workaround to see if we can workaround this so that you dont have to disable your firewall fully to access these features that are not working due to this software.
Should have a workaround finished up hopefully either within a few hours of this update or by the tomorrow night.

There is new addition to the forum, a sub-question for firewalls...
If you are using a firewall that is Symantic/Norton, namely Symantic Client Firewall, Norton Personal Firewall, Norton Internet Securities, please post what year and/or build of it.
Such as NPF 2004 or NIS 2005, etc etc... this information is very important in finding a workaround.

Thank you all for reporting these problems, I am trying to find every way I can to get a workaround going, however its been rather difficult to re-create the issue using the Symantic softwares.
I am however trying different versions of the Norton Internet Securities (NIS) to try, since it seems this problem is over the range of NIS from 2003+ and NPF 2002+
So it might still be some little time before a proper workaround is found, but all the information you are all providing is very helpful, so please continue reporting to this thread if you are still having problems.

Workaround
Cannot Click on Store Items
Some users are having trouble clicking on items in the stores, to preview and/or purchase. A workaround has been found, though it may only work for some users:

The "I can't click on store items" can be worked around by disabling Norton Internet Security...possibly other firewall software, but I only have one thing to test on.
